Darcy was very helpful in giving us ideas for our home. We implemented many of her ideas. She came to our home about a month ago to help give us suggestions about various accessories, pillows, etc. in order to finish decorating our living room. I e-​mailed her twice recently to let her know we tried her ideas for accessories, but weren’t happy with the finished product (especially considering the cost). I didn’t hear back from her or her assistant which was frustrating. Overall, it wasn’t worth the cost since we still aren’t completely happy with the finished product and she has not been responsive.

Regarding my review, I tried to impart that my ONLY issue was the difference between what was promoted versus what the real plan was for. While I do not need these specific services, I will say that after having Darcy reach out to try to make it good with an offer for a personal visit from her, at no cost because of my experience, this is clearly something that makes her business worthy of your attention. Integrity speaks volumes to me. And, as I said, if full design services are what you need, I know the price was reasonable. It’s a question of expectations. I would guess some clarity will ensue in the information available. Thanks.

After buying my first house, I purchased an 1.5 hour consultation with Simply Stunning to get some design ideas for how to decorate the house. My husband and I had previously lived in a much smaller space, and we were looking for concrete ideas on how to setup things. What kind of furniture to buy. What color schemes worked. Where to put things. The first person they sent out didn’t fulfill our expectations. (It wasn’t Darcy.)
After I wrote a bad review, Darcy contacted me and she said she would personally come out to provide us a free consultation to ensure we got what we originally paid for. Darcy came today and provided us exactly what we were looking for. We got good, specific advice on things both big and small. She was proactive with looking at our space and coming up with ideas on her own. She wasn’t afraid to tell us things we had done that she didn’t love, why she didn’t love it, and then ways to improve it. So, in the end, we were happy with what we got.

Darcy’s design seminar was entertaining and very helpful. I have worked with designers in the past and welcome her approach to design on a budget. She’s very creative and experienced and had many illustrations and thoughtful questions for us. I left the seminar inspired. I expect to hire her for some projects I have been mulling over for months.

We recently bought a new home and wanted to remodel a few areas to get that nice staged and pulled-​together look we’ve seen in model homes and on HGTV. I contacted a few interior designers even for just a consultation but was discouraged with my initial experience. They were either pricey, not available, or would not return my request for a quote. As a result, we decided to tackle the design decisions ourselves, but after a few weeks into the remodel, we started to feel overwhelmed with some of the design decisions we had made. What looked good alone or what we thought would look good did not turn out as expected. I decided once again to seek for help, and this time I decided to contact Simply Stunning Spaces. First of all I loved how it was very easy to schedule an in-​home consultation online and the price was very fair, especially after using a Unilocal coupon. I was able to schedule an appointment for within a few days. There was great communication and preparation even before the consultation. I really felt that Darcy wanted to come as prepared as she could so that we could make good use of the 2-​hour consultation timeframe. Darcy was on time to our appointment, and listened to our wants, needs, and budget. She provided us with invaluable design ideas, more than we can ever use, and opened our eyes to things we never thought about. She even took measurements and gave us precise details on recommended dimensions for furniture and accessories. Overall, it was a great experience and I wish I had known about Simply Stunning Spaces before we started the remodel. I could tell I would have saved precious time and money. I highly recommend having at least the 2-​hour consultation if you are on a strict budget. It’ll pay for itself :)

We had a 2-​hour design consultation with Darcy a couple of months ago, and it was amazing! She gave us so many wonderful ideas. We implemented them all, and our house looks 1,000-times better! In particular, everyone who comes over tells us our tiny living room looks so much bigger and so much more put together. We are now planning to hire her to re-​design our kitchen. Thank you, Darcy!

Darcy designed the downstairs of our home in 2012 — and recommended colors for the whole place — and we have been getting compliments ever since! Somehow, she merged our very different style wants/​needs into a brand new look. She gave us plenty of options, but we found ourselves selecting her first choices — our downstairs is virtually identical to the rendering she provided. The colors, furniture, lighting, carpeting, fireplace, entertainment unit — ALL are as ‘in style’ now as they were then. Darcy was one of the best decisions we ever made!

We recently purchased a new home and Darcy came out to provide us with a two hour consultation. She was nice enough to schedule me in on short notice, given the fact that I wanted to move things along quickly. Darcy was on time to our appointment, listened to our needs and wants and provided us with great deign ideas for our entire home based on our vision (I used the app houzz to show her my «dream» designs along with puctures and measurements of the existing furniture and decore that must be implemented in our futr home design). She was amazing! She quickly took measurements and video of the areas of our home so that if we considered using her expanded design services, she will be able to provide us with a 3d replica of our home and what it would look like given our deign needs/​wants. I was very impressed, I would absolutely consider her again for any future design services.

I own a Day Spa in need of a makeover! However we have only been open for 2 years and are not quite ready to invest the $ 20,000+ bids coming in from contractors. I looked on Unilocal for an interior designer and Simply Stunning seemed very positive. I am glad I called because she is the only company who answered the call promptly and set me up with an appointment for the following week! ((All the other companies need to work on their booking and phone skills)) Let me tell you… this girl is the BOMB!!! I loved all her ideas and I know I can give my business the look it needs on my budget! She is amazing and whether you have a company OR residential need, please give her a shot!

We really enjoyed working with Darcy. She helped us twice; once with some ideas for the inside of our house and most recently with our back patio area. We took her advice and suggestions and it turned out great! We look forward to working with her again on our next project!

Having just moved to Pasadena from Las Vegas, recently married and working full-​time I really had no clue where to begin on decorating our new home. I was a little hesitant to admit this to my new hubby so I started looking all over the internet for inspiration and found Simply Stunning Spaces. Darcy was an excellent find and the perfect solution to what I was looking for. She was able to show me exactly what my home would look like before we ever purchased a piece of furniture and then gave me a plan for how to implement those ideas on my own. I’m still in the process of getting everything ordered but it’s been a huge relief for me just knowing that I’m making all of the right decisions regarding sofa sizes, paint colors, fabric choices, and all of the other 1001 decisions that I had no clue about. The design plan really reflects both mine and my husbands tastes, which was another thing I was worried about because he likes more of the sleek, modern look and I tend to lean more towards the traditional or «transitional» styles (according to HGTV’s style guide). Darcy did a really good job at creating a design plan that we’re both excited about– something I’m sure was not easy to do. I’m looking forward to seeing everything come together and recommend her to anyone looking for a designer that isn’t outrageously expensive and is easy to work with.

Darcy is an incredible designer. She came up with a design for our home that far exceeded our expectations. She did a great job of understanding our style and everything she recommended was perfect for us. Her design plan made it very easy to pull everything together. Most of the items selected were available at well known stores (with the exception of some custom furniture pieces we wanted). This made online ordering and deliver of the items a snap. Darcy has been great with follow-​up. I highly recommend Simply Stunning Spaces. You won’t be disappointed!

I have had the pleasure of working with her on one of her biggest projects and her incredible attention to detail and the amount of love and time she pours into each and every client she has is something you dont come across every day.
