Had a quick lunch here a few days ago. The head cashier greeted me when I walked in and was very professional. The guy hooked it up with a couple dollars off my meal. I didn’t know him or anything, but it was a nice gesture and it made me feel welcome. Good job sizzler. Good job.

I probably haven’t been to a Sizzler in about 30 years since I was a small kid. The chain has changed quite a bit over the years. I’d normally never go here, but I was famished in an unfamiliar area of town and said what the hell, this could be good. Looking over the menu I’m getting second thoughts and almost walked out. Then I saw a 22oz Heineken in the refrigerator and that looked so perfect to me at the moment. I got some whacky combo that consisted of steak, chicken cord on bleu, fried skrimps and mashed potatoes & gravy. The meal took awhile to come out with the place less than half full. Finally came out. It kind of looked sad for the price I paid but I just jumped in. The steak is OK. I ordered medium well and it was well done being a little dry, but there was a lot of steak juice on the plate, which I can’t stand. Fried skrimps were good. The chicken cord on bleu didn’t look good but was a pleasant surprise. I’m a sucker for mashed potatoes and gravy and any time I can get it I’m happy. I don’t like ordering at the counter and paying a tip then they hand me the tip back in cash to leave on the table for the servers. I get it, for the sake of the servers getting cash, but a lot of people tip based on the quality of service at the end of the experience. This place is what it is. If I ever go to another one, I’ll probably just do the salad bar and an appetizer.

No you’re not at Ruth’s Chris or Donovans, you’re not even at outback nor Black angus, you’re at SIZZLER!!! With that said, its not the best quality steak but its a descent meal… where else can you order a steak n shrimp dinner from a menu board directly to the cashier? !

When searching for«lunch near me» Sizzler was one of the closest & first suggestions to come it. Seeing it with 3.5 stars, figured we’d give it a try. When you first walk in you’re greeted & walk to a giant menu & decide what you want & order at the counter our meal came to about 35 dollars. You’re offered the salad bar, I highly recommend it! Fresh lettuce! && delicious ranch! & crunchy, amazing croutons! You then get to seat yourself wherever you please!(We chose a relaxing larger booth) our server, Marley was such a sweetheart & she brought over cheesy bread(delicious!!!) & told us or food would be out shortly. I ordered the oz 6 sirloin with a side of chicken broccoli Alfredo, no broccoli & a loaded baked potato, my boyfriend ordered the Philly cheese steak with a side of loaded mashed… Wish there was a Sizzler closer to home in MA! SO good!!!

Normal Sizzler? Nope ! First, when you walk in your pleasantly surprised to see an upscale décor for a Sizzler restaurant. But sorry to say, that’s were it ends. Most of the food is your normal quality of food you expect to receive at Sizzler. With a senior discounted menu and children’s menu it makes it a value for your dollar. We had the misfortune of being there on Christmas Day though. They covered up all the discounted meals & special offers on the menu wall with wrapping paper & bows. Now we had to choose from an overpriced menu especially for that day. «Merry Christmas«, right? I think this reflects badly on the management choosing to profit off this day. I ordered the grilled bbq ribs & chicken plate. The rib portion was small and the chicken was cooked beyond recognition. This visit to Sizzler cost double what we would normally spend there on any other day. I will say, the waitress was excellent and we tipped her very well in the spirit of Christmas. Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to all.

Food was so so and service sucked I had to get up and get my own refills and the waiter noticed I needed a refill. Other then her bringing the food and drinks I realy fought with myself to leave a tip and after the wife made me feel like I’m the ass that has to take it from this place and our waiter, so I left a tip but will probably never come back. I’m still sitting in the booth wondering was we «give» tips for shat service, no logical reason has yet come to mind. Suck it sizzler…

I’m a gastric bypass patient but I still like the variety of a buffet. I have a card from my doctor requesting I pay a child’s price since I won’t be eating much. I informed the cashier about this suggesting I pay for the add on salad or the kids salad but she refused! They’re lucky I’m giving this place two stars but it’s only because the food was fine and our waiter gave me a to go box for the one plate of food I got!

Okay so it was my first time here with my friend, she ordered the sirloin steak with Alfredo and I ordered the Italian herb chicken with broccoli. The price just for myself was $ 20. That’s sorta pricey for a place like this but anyway my chicken I was expecting it to be a healthy looking decent good size chicken for the $ 10 I paid for it… No it literally looked like something that comes in a walmart bag and half of my chicken had a nasty thing on it that is processed that is too chewy. My friends steak was so flat and small it was a joke. Worst $ 25 she ever spent. I’m currently here at sizzlers right now writing this review. I can’t believe how I honest thought I could compare this to soup plantation. Was so wrong. The salad bar Was good. But other than that I probably won’t come here again it’s too expensive for the cheap ass food that you get… Not up to par. At all. Also our other two friends just came to eat the salad bar because we told them not to get entrees if they want the food because this place is just no no and okay also just now on top of that the manager is so rude and luckily he hVe me my $ 10 back but I told him about my friends steak and he was getting an attitude and I feel extremely uncomfortable now I just changed this from a two star to a one star. And I find the man very rude he is like well idk what to tell u that’s how we cut our steaks okay ur photos on the wall look thick versus what she got so I found him very rude. And he is so careless walking away… Not even coming back to address what I said about her steak… I don’t know what to say right now I am shocked… I’m not telling my friends to come here. I’m pissed off now. Unprofessional management in watching him right now and I can hear him talking about me and my friend to our waitress. Not tipping her now she just lost her tip. Wow … That’s so fucking rude ! BEYONDANNOYED.

My first time here & it was horrible ! I got the endless salad bar, thinking it was going to be pretty good. As soon as I picked up two pieces of fried chicken I seen that the ones under it had chicken feathers on it. I had asked a lady that worked there if that’s how it’s supposed to be & she replied saying well it is chicken &I I responded well do you just keep it like that? She picked out the feather with her hand didn’t even wash them or anything. You would assume as a restaurant they should be more careful in how they cook things right? Well NO Not here they don’t. I believe her name was Ivet or something like that. Never going back again !!!

Food was horrible… ordered the steak and lobster. Ordered steak medium it came out almost well done. Lobster was raw with half of a cup of butter. Add to ask for more sautéed onions because it seemed like they were having an onion shortage… didn’t even cover half my steak. Server was subpar… and it took over 30 mins for this crap meal to come out. Not satisfied at all paying $ 40 for less than mediocre. Save yourself the trip if thinking about going here and just make a TV Dinner… it will taste better!

The location is in the Hood, let’s just be honest here. When driving to it I was worried that we we’re going to pull up on a horrible sizzlers. When I opened the door I was delighted to a cool breeze clean restaurant and chill people. No ese, ninja this or that. THEREALSTARSHEREAREMANAGEMENT not sure the names but it’s an older Caucasian lady and the great Leah as our waitress. Now the food, I come to sizzles for my personal things I like Shrimp Carnitas at the buffet Cheese bread All where good just the bread was a little light on the butter, hey probably best for me anyway.

This is the worst Sizzler I have been to, their buns are so hard it’ll crack your teeth if you’re not careful. I normally like their clam chowder soup so that’s about the only decent thing at the salad bar. Don’t waste your money ordering the food, the meat is dry. We got drinks and the glass was dirty. The atmosphere is not bad, they actually have air conditioning. The prices? Not worth it. Best bet is go across the street to Costco for a $ 1.50 hot dog.

We love coming to this sizzler restaurant everyone is very friendly and helpful. the place is always clean and the supervisors are doing constant rounds to make sure customers are satisfied. There are plenty of good choices if you decide to get the salad bar. I like to get the carnitas plate, love their greek salad and for dessert either frozen ice cream, fruit with cottage cheese or yogurt.

The food here is fantastic. Everything tastes the way it should, service is what you would expect from a place like this, and atmosphere is fine. The reason I give this place 3 stars is the price. Three years ago I used to come here on a weekly basis with my girlfriend to have a nice weekend dinner. Three years ago I could get a 6oz steak, a baked potato, and an endless salad bar for $ 11.99. The price and food was fair. Now, the food has not improved in the past three years. The service has gotten worse if anything, but the prices have skyrocketed! The same meal today would cost me about $ 17.99. I come here very rarely now when I’m in the area and am craving a steak. However, even if I am in the area, I sometimes opt for driving a bit more to a Black Angus, Chilli’s or Outback. I can get better food for a similar or even less price at all three of these places.

Went here for lunch. Had the fish & chips & salad bar. Was worth it. Everything was so good. Our waitress was really nice & helpful. This was the closest Sizzler’s since they shut down the one in National City. The salad bar had everything like salad, fruit, chicken, Mac & cheese, etc. Overall experience was good. My brother was with us enjoying his time with his niece.

The nature of my job requires lots of face to face meetings. Some of these meetings are formal, some are informal. Some of these pow wows happen over coffee, while others may happen over happy hour. Sometimes we’ll even chop it up over a nice dinner and then there are the meetings that catch you completely off guard and happen at… wait for it… Sizzler. Am I complaining? Heck no, Sizzler has surprised me as one of the best lunchtime meeting spots yet! Seeing as this review is an update, you’ll notice that I’ve upgraded a three star review to a solid four. Lunch is where it’s at and it seems that everything on the salad bar is a little bit fresher. The staff is on point and it is an easy option where no big menu decisions need to be made. The salad bar for two people will run you under $ 30.00 with drinks and tip, and you can eat, relax and talk shop at your own pace — nobody is rushing you out of this joint! Granted you can spend a good amount of time watching the gluttons and their excessive trips through the line, but for me one strong pass through the greens and one or two chicken wings will suffice… and maybe a little Jello. Have I found my new off the beaten path lunch meeting spot? You betcha, but that’s completely contingent on the other half of the biz appointment being on the same page. Twist that arm!
