We have everything for new users who are looking to quit smoking or substitute the occasional hookah session with a healthier, tastier alternative. We also carry a selection of mods, rebuildable atomizers and premium eliquids to satisfy more advanced users. Our vape shop rebuildable experts can show you how to get your advanced device running exactly the way you want. We are proud of the atmosphere we have created for our customers, and have thought long and hard how to make it your personal vape shop. We know our e-​cigs, and want to help you enjoy them as much as we do.

History

Established in 2013.

The primary reason for our decision to create Sky City Vape Shop was to offer customers a vaping experience superior to what was available. Being experienced e cigarette users, we have extremely high expectations regarding devices, e-​liquid, and vape shop atmosphere. Prior to our vape shop opening, we found it near impossible for our expectations to be met with the existing vape shops in San Diego. So, we spent countless hours in the lab researching the finest brand name devices, and creating the perfect balance of unrivaled e-​liquid quality. In late 2013, we gathered our findings and made them available to the public with the opening of our first vape shop in North Park, of San Diego California. We continued to grow in a short amount of time, and after making some adjustments, we’re proud to say that we can offer San Diegans a vaping experience that surpasses any other vape shop. Our stores name is «Sky City Vape Shop», while our brand of e-​liquid is «Sky City Vapor».

The employees were very knowledgeable and helpful. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted and they basically gave me a crash course of everything about vaping. They didn’t try to sell me the most expensive stuff but instead asked what my budget was and the reason for wanting one. They have 5 stars for a reason, don’t play yourself.

This place sure gets busy!
I came here only a couple times and the last time I went right when they opened, and multiple customers were already coming in so that’s a good sign.
The guys here were really helpful, and I only bought one juice so far which was their «Something Special” — strawberry kiwi with a hint of mint (I believe). It’s pretty good!
They have what you need, including various juices and vapes so if you’re a beginner in vaping (like me), they are very informative and helpful.

While I’ve encountered many vape shops around San Diego, I’d have to say Sky City is by far my favorite. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They just stocked up on new lines of juices so definitely give them a shot. Their 2860 is an in-​house juice made that I’d recommend if you like a balanced sweetness with creaminess. Parking may be a hassle depending on time you go but totally worth. Fantastic work Sky City.

I’ve been here several times already and can honestly say I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff is great and service is superb! Really good eliquid flavors. You can say there are other vape shops that are cheaper but from a customer stand point they have it all and don’t mind paying a little extra just because they know how to take care of their customers.

This Vape shop was Great! Alfredo was so helpful and patient with us. I didn’t jump on to the Vaping right away and have been worried about walking into a place not knowing anything. He kindly walk us through the steps of taking care of it, all the different ones and hooked us up with a starter kit. We will be coming back here for sure.

Pretty cool atmosphere. I dig it. Great staff, nice friendly attitudes. Awesome selection of e-​liquid. They even mix their own on site for custom flavors and nic level. The have a great selection of hardware, from box mods to mech mods and pens. My go-​to vape shop in my area.

This shop has the best customer service! They will help you if you have a problem with your mod or whatever you have without just trying to sell you something you don’t want. And they have great products at good prices and there e juice is the only ones I will use. You can try all the flavored before you buy but no matter which one you choose there are top quality. I live in spring valley and I will ride the bus all the way to north park just to go there. If you are a vaper you will love this shop.

I reviewed these guys awhile ago and my review stands — the staff is awesome, Julius and Alfredo are great guys, and I’m always meeting new regulars who are friendly as well. I visit often, sometimes just to say hi.
I rated a 4 star before because they didn’t have a large variety of juices, but that has been steadily changing and I’m here to increase to 5 stars because of it! They’ve been bringing in a bunch of new labels and while their house juices are still excellent, it’s great to see them branch out. I am a loyal regular and plan on keeping it that way!

I was welcomed immediately which is always nice. I was shown where their drip testers were which helped. That was just about the extent of their customer service. 2 people were there, one was hanging out off the clock (he was the one who even talked to me at all). The other guy who seemingly ran the place was tied up with business opportunities (which is understandable, but how hard is it to say «hey what’s up man? A little busy right now, help yourself. I’ll be with you in like 10minutes)
Small conversation was made but there wasn’t any real attempt to make me wanna buy their juices, I was just left to taste and ask questions if I had any.
Even after I explicitly mentioned that I was touring around SD visiting the vape shops. I told them they were my first stop because Unilocal held them in such high regards. The response was «oh cool, where do you usually vape at?»
That convo lasted a few minutes. Then the guy just kinda wandered off and started tinkering with his vape. He was off the clock so I appreciate his attempts.
My disappointment was with the guy who was on the clock. There were only a couple customers in the store and no attention was really given to either of us.
Altogether, I was disappointed. More often than not, I’m ok with being left alone to figure stuff out as long as the workers still acknowledge my interest. Their mediocre juices didn’t help my experience.

I was out visiting SD from NJ and wanted to quit smoking and since there is a plethora of vape shops I decided to get one while I was out there. I came into the shop after deciding it had the most consistent reviews on Unilocal and they were all right. I was greeted by Alfredo who completely took care of me as the newbie I am. I spent most of my time trying out juices since they have so many and then after picking out two (now addicted to cinnaroll) I went out to pick out the ego-​vv and the kanger pro tank 2. But let me say that Alfredo didn’t push me on spending more money. I was the one pushing to spend more bc I wanted what I got to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye. He was all ready to just sell me the standard starter kit so that was a major plus to me!
Now for when I get back to NJ– my battery lasted 2 ½ days before my first charge which was awesome. Last night my battery dies so I plug it in to charge on my computer as directed and after 3 ½ hrs of charging I took it off and it only showed it having one bar of battery. I thought maybe next time I had to charge it would fix itself but today after just charging it last night it died on me. It didn’t even last 24 hrs. So I called Alfredo up expecting them to do nothing and get the blame game but he immediately took down my address and is shipping me out a brand new ego-​vv. If that is not spectacular service than I don’t know what is. A big 5 stars for Sky City and much appreciation! As an out of town customer they didn’t have to do anything for me bc it’s not like I’ll be a serious returning customer-​even though I will be bc my bro that lives in North Park will now be buying whatever I need and bring it to me whenever he comes home but they didn’t know that. I’m just really impressed with how I got treated! Thank you so much sky city (Alfredo) for making a newbie like me not feel like an idiot– going to the warehouse on Memorial Day weekend just to get me the color I wanted and for making me feel like I truly matter as one of your customers!

Listen up, people! Unilocalers already love this vape spot (and for good reason), but some changes are coming and they’ll all be positive, as far as I can tell.
Mix Vapes is splitting from the original location in Carlsbad and changing their name to Sky City. The same friendly people will work there, they’ll still have the tasting bar (really the best set up, ever!), and they’ll still have a comfy cozy lounge atmosphere. What’s new — besides the name — will be even more liquids, from a variety of makers. On a recent visit, as they were sharing with me their future plans, they asked for suggestions on premium juices that I liked. It’s super cool of them that they are asking their customer base for input, it really shows that they want to put the best product available out there.
Whether I’m asking for a replacement on a defective battery (I didn’t even have the receipt still!), trying out new flavor combinations, or asking for tips on how to clean my Kanger protank, these guys are amazingly helpful.
Saving that 5th star for when the conversion to Sky City is official.

All in all I found this to be a really nice establishment. I can’t speak to the quality of their products first hand because I don’t use these, but my man does and that’s why we were there.
After a nice lunch in Little Italy I checked Unilocal for shops that he could get a replacement e-​cig at and this place popped up. The good reviews combined with the 10% off check-​in offer enticed me. We cruised over and it’s a clean little gem for the street it’s on.
They have a decent variety of hardware and a TON of different flavors. They make their own juices which I found rather intriguing. They can even increase the nicotine level on any of their juices as well. They have ‘sampling’ stations where you can test out the different flavors. If I were into these I’d personally really appreciate this!
On the service front I found them to be super accommodating. Before we started our transaction I mentioned that I had a 10% offer on Unilocal.When he was ringing us up I went to pull up my phone and he was super nice and said don’t worry I’ll give you the discount. You can save that for next time. Thought that was awfully cool of them.
Anyway, like I said I can’t rate the product firsthand but the man like it and is happy with it and I found the service to be top notch.
