Skydiving San Diego

Brandon and Connor made my husband and i’s experience unforgettable. Best time of our life! We were there for maybe 40 minutes total and we bought the photo package for the both of us and it is so worth the extra money! Everyone was so welcoming and awesome. I would recommend this to everyone and anyone. It is a must! We got t-​shirts afterwards and took pictures with our certificates and the different signs they have.

Amazing! I was visiting SD with a friend and on a whim we decided to cross skydiving off our bucket list. Skydiving San Diego was the best place we could’ve done it! My camera guy (mark?) and tandem person (brandon) were fantastic. The wile atmosphere is so chill, and it helps you calm down before you jump. It was an awesome experience, and I HIGHLY recommend.
Things to know: 1) wear long pants, that chafing will be unreal if you don’t. 2) it gets cold so you might want long sleeves. 3) if this is your first jump, just pay the extra for the deluxe photos and video. Mark «filmed the shit» out of me. The photos will be well worth it, and they will be the only way you will be 100% sure you jumped out of a plane. Because you won’t believe it when you hit the ground. 4) bring cash for a tip. The person was literally responsible for your life, he deserves at least a 10er.

Hands down the best experience i’ve ever had, Brian, was awesome. From first meeting him to the very end his was hilarious and very enthusiastic about everything. They told us what we were going, when we were going to do it, and all the instructions were very simple and easy to understand and not at all demanding. They all had their own hilarious spin to each instruction so it stuck with you. The skydiving experience was topnotch, scenery sucked, but what can you do right? Amazing people all around, the registration chick was awesome, the tandem guys were awesome, and the overall vibe was hanging out with my adrenaline junky buddies. I would suggest you jump somewhere else if you want to see something amazing, trust me 13k feet up, everything looks awesome, but i skydived in Hawaii and it was awesome view, people were significantly less enthusiastic about jumping. Also, don’t go in with a chip, some of them are certified bad-ass’s FYI.

OK experience. The sky diving part was fun and the instructor I was paired up with was a nice fellow.
I paid $ 60+ extra bucks for the gopro footage, but that took 3 weeks for them to get me something… and it was terrible. The resolution they sent me sucked, the editing cuts they did was stupid and the background music they use is horrid.
I wish the jerks sent me the raw gopro footage untampered with. I paid $ 60 extra bucks for shit footage.
F*ck you guys for that footage and fee, but at least the tandem jumper was good.

Best birthday gift, ever! Mikey was my instructor and my spirit animal, kept me from going bat shit crazy! Exhilarating and humbling experience. Would do it again in a heartbeat

I came here to skydive to mark my 25 years of life and I have to say wow what a rush! I did lose signal pretty much the whole time which kinda sucked because I couldn’t snap chat lol. They didn’t have restrooms only the portable restrooms which kinda sucked too. The rest was simple. The instructors were great. The dive was amazing. I didn’t purchase a video or pics but my friend did and when she got the video wow it was awful. The editing was bad, the quality was just as bad, I couldnt make the video any bigger and it was a quarter of the screen to begin with. As the music from the video was playing I could hear people talking and moving around. The skydiving experience was great but the location was okay. Oh and the guy that my friend was jumping with was weird.

Surprised my girl friend with Skydiving for her birthday. Arrived at 12:30 for our 1pm appointment on a tuesday. Filled out waivers, and was trained to fall within 20 minutes of our arrival.
My jumpmaster JT, my camera guy, Scott, were amazing. We had such an amazing time, and the photos we got were great! Our photos were on a disk within 10 minutes after we landed… It’s amazing they got such great photos. I swear Scott was a flying squirrel, somehow always managing to be right next to me taking pictures and video taping while falling at 120mph.
Overall it was a very quick experience. We did not wait, have booking errors, or waste time with unnecessary training. We were strapped in and ready to fall. Would definitely book again.

A feeling that simply cannot be replicated, you must try skydiving for yourself.
Go big from the start and make your first tandem jump from 13,000 feet at Skydive San Diego.
I’ve been back multiple times, and the great instructors have me considering getting certified to fly solo now. If you want the rush of a lifetime, this is the place to get it.
If you forgot a snack for the time between your check-​in and the big moment you’re waiting for, check out the trailer off the the left with the American flag for everything you need to feed those butterflies in your stomach.

Best experience ever. I’ve been 4 times to SkyDive San Diego and each experience has been great. If it’s on your bucket list, take the plunge… you’ll be glad you did.

All I can say is Outstanding! Outstanding customer service and Outstanding experience. Mikey was my instructor and made this big baby feel as comfortable as possible while jumping out of a plane. Mikey had a great attitude.
It was my very first experience that I will remember for the rest of my life! Thanks Skydive San Diego for everything!

You know those things that you always wanted to do but afraid to? Just say Fck it and do it!!!
So, I’ve never been a roller coaster type of gal and I despise Magic Mountain and or rides that looks all crazy. I stick to what I know like the Carousel at Disneyland. I’ve always been afraid of heights but check me out! I went skydiving for my 28^th birthday and loved it! It was worth every penny I saved only to jump off a perfectly good plane. And it definitely cleared up my sinuses (I had the flu).
This place is amazing the staff was friendly, accommodating and made you feel at ease. I would do it again for sure!

I was planning on taking my brother jumping for his b-​day this weekend. So I called them with a few questions only to receive some of the worst customer service and attitude, ever. I don’t understand what is so difficult about answering a phone, especially if thats your job. Well sad to say they just lost my service, being that I always base a company on there representatives. I really hope the owner reads this and gets someone more personable.

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!! Go direct for whatever sporting company you want. It’s not worth the minimal discount. You will spend a lot of time on hold calling 800#s.

i love the feeling when your stomach and heart meet in a sudden free fall…
i called ahead and scheduled to jump at 2:00. my friend and i arrived at 1:30. We signed our lives away and the waited a terribly long time. it was 5:45 when we were trained how to fall (less than a 5 minute lesson). it was 6:30 when we were done. the setting sun was totally rad, but seriously, almost 4 HOURS of waiting?! also, my camera guy totally sucked (but i can’t remember his name). he forgot to stop the video camera as we were flying in the plane. he told me there wasn’t that much recording time left, so the opening of my parachute && landing is non-​existent. i understand that jumping out of the plane is the exciting part, but i spent an additional $ 100 to get every awesome moment recorded.
oh, && if you were wondering, skydiving doesn’t give you that feeling of falling – you just feel weightless.
oh, && on another side note, i got bruises on my legs from the harnesses.

This place deserves a zero. They have horrible customer service, and they provide nothing but headaches. Called several times to be put on hold (40 minute long phone call) only to be told they were closing. I booked skydiving through them, and they couldn’t even put my reseravations in. So after a 2 hour drive to San Diego I find out they didn’t book shit. Wow, great business, I could produce a fart that is more productive and has better customer service than them. So short story, just go to sky dive san diego, and book through them.

From the previous reviewers they must have been reviewing another company that actually booked for them, this is for Sky Dive San Diego; (I actually went down booked and went up that day. I have never been sky diving before and I went with my man, he has been before, and we went together. It was an awesome experience except the lady I was strapped to kept flirting with my man and thinking like we weren’t together… weird…If i would have known how i would have stolen her shoot and let her go… hahah JK! sort of…
Really fun to do! We are going again for my sister’s birthday in March! Better not see that B …

One word… SHADY. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. They are a reservation/​booking company called Sportations. Book DIRECTLY with the vendors. This company will charge you unnecessary booking/​reservation fees. Booking directly with Skydive San Diego (in Jamul) is only $ 189, but booking through this reservation company will cost you $ 236 (the extra $ 47 is for their overhead). It cost me $ 47 to speak to the most incompetent and rude customer service representatives who, by the way, originally booked me at the wrong location. They do not refund or even partially refund (sales rep said they are not allowed to give partial refunds in the state of Georgia). UHHH? THEN give me a full refund for wasting half my day talking you idiots and getting ripped off. I even asked for the managers extension # and was sent to a general voice mailbox. I called again and asked to speak to the manager and requested her extension number — the sales rep said they don’t have extension numbers! What? really? No extension numbers? Listen to your stupid voicemail system that asks your customers for the party’s extension #!
Please please please save yourself money and your sanity by not booking with this company.

My first skydiving experience was at Perris skydive and it was a million times better. Skydive San Diego is about making money and not about giving new skydivers an amazing unforgettable experience. They are over booked and the instructors who go tandem with you spend all their time complaining about being tired and are irritable. When you purchase a video most locations let you pick a song to go with your video and you take your video home with you when you leave. Skydive San Diego doesn’t do that, they mail you a video 3 weeks later. If you are skydiving for the first time and want a good experience do NOT go to skydive san diego go to Perris. We waited 3.5 hour to jump and lost the excitement. The thrill was further killed by instructors that are not motivated or excited.
