We started Sloppy’s Burritos with a simple goal — make awesome burritos and salads with the healthiest ingredients possible.
Our focus on health and freshness is fanatical. We source organic and local ingredients wherever possible. By design, all of our burritos and salads are less than 30% of your total RDA in calories. Some are even less than 15%.
We created these recipes in our home, and prepare them fresh every day at Sloppy’s. To maximize freshness, we grill your proteins right when you order them. Sure it costs us more, but we think you’re worth it :) We do not own can openers or microwaves, and the only thing frozen is our ice.
Lastly, we love our guacamole and think it kicks ass. Our Moms agree and Moms don’t lie. Ask for some, it’s free on every burrito and salad.

Established in 2013.
Owners Matt and Sylvia created Sloppy’s Burritos after struggling to find fresh and healthy burritos and salads in the San Diego area. The restaurant has a heavy focus on sustainability, and is designed on the premise that healthy food should be simple, affordable, and good for the planet.

Manager
Raised in California Bay Area, Sylvia moved to San Diego several years ago and has not looked back since. Sylvia is passionate about delicious food, a healthy lifestyle and supporting local growers, and pours this passion into Sloppy’s. In fact, several «off-menu» items at Sloppy’s are inspired by her love of surfing, yoga, and hiking. With a deep hospitality background, Sylvia aims to deliver the best customer experience at Sloppy’s Burritos each and every day.
