History
Established in 2013.
As a young entrepreneur, Dr. Gowdar established the Smile Ocean Dental Practice in Pacific Beach in 2012. Just three blocks from the ocean, Dr. Gowdar’s office is conveniently located next to the heart of the Pacific Beach business district.
Historically, Smile Ocean Dental is known for patients who leave with both a brighter smile and a more confident strut.

Dr. Gowdar is a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego Dental Association, Academy of General Dentist, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
She has been awarded as «Top Dentist in America» by Consumer Research Council of America.
Dr.Gowdar has been practicing dentistry since 2007. After graduating from Bapuji Dental College and Hospital in India, she then completed courses at UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Gowdar is actively participating in the community by volunteering at UCSD Pre-Dental Society, San Diego Dental Society’s Give Kids a Smile program, AGD’s Outreach program. She is also contracted by Logistic Health Inc. and has the qualifications to screen military before they deploy.
