We offer show-​quality, extremely thorough cleaning, polishing and waxing of your car or SUV, both inside and out. Besides improving appearance, detailing helps to preserve resale value of a car. So Cal Auto Detail offers a variety of detailing services, from early bird express washes starting at $ 13 to complete Detail services starting at $ 120. All 100% by hand.

History

Established in 2011.

Fueled by my passion for cars, opening an auto detailing business of my own has been on my mind for more than a decade. A stroke of luck allowed me to jump in the driver’s seat and set out on the road to follow my dream.

The son of a Auto Body Repairman, I grew up in «the shop» and developed a passion for clean show quality cars and trucks. Working briefly for a car dealership, I was sent to a detailing certification school and have retained and kept up the ever changing developments in detailing. The opportunity came to open my own shop by chance in January of 2011. I am so happy to be one of the few who can I truly do what I love. I believe my passion shows in my work.

Born and Raised in New York, I came to San Diego in the late 1990s. The son of a Auto Body Repairman, I grew up in «the shop» and developed a passion for clean show quality cars and trucks. Working briefly for a car dealership here in San Diego, I was sent to a detailing certification school and have retained and kept up the ever changing developments in detailing. The opportunity came to open my own shop by chance in January of 2011. My other passion is music. I have been a house music dj in San Diego with night club residencies in Downtown and North Park and Hillcrest. I am extremely thankful to be fortunate enough to follow both my loves, yet the real reward comes from the joy I bring either with my music or top quality detailed car.

When it comes to professional maintenance of any car I trust So Cal Detail Center. I have 2 kids under the age of 4 and my car is always clean and smelling great thanks to the pros at So Cal Detail. Excellent job on my car! Looks great and smells like baby powder. My car needed some serious cleaning and my boy Mannix at So-​Cal Auto Detail Center delivered! He took the time to show me the areas of my car that needed attention and gave me tips on how to avoid further damage to my paint. Friendly, attentive and professional service. I highly recommend.

Super friendly staff. I even missed a few appointment times, and they were able to get me in when I could make it. They treat your car as if it were there own. Anything that you need done they can do. First time I came in Henry gave me a few towels to take with me, in case I had anything I had to touch up in between washes. Looks like I’m a customer for a very long time. If you are looking for 5 star service, none of that automatic drive through car wash BS… I’m talking about the best products on your vehicle, handwash, expert techs, this is the place. They know what they are doing.

Henry and his team are awesome!
I work in the building and he washed and waxed my car for me. I wasn’t familiar with the wax that I was getting and when my car was finished I still felt bumps everywhere. He was so nice and explained to me what needed to be done and why. He was able to do it a few weeks after (due to my schedule) and it was exactly what I wanted! Thank you, Henry!

Just had my Black Cayman detailed here at So-​Cal Auto Detail and I am very impressed and pleased with the work that Henry and his staff did on my car. I knew beforehand that due to previous washes my paint had swirl marks, but Henry explained that everything could be fixed and he treated the rear spoiler to show me what the whole car should look like. Henry is very meticulous and makes you feel very comfortable about trusting his shop with your car, will definitely be going back to these guys on a regular basis, they take great pride in their work, my car looked amazing. Highly recommend!

Reasonably priced. Spectacular work. Hands down the best detail and wax I have ever had! I’ve always had to pay over $ 100 for a good detail & wax but they only charged $ 75. Completely worth every penny. I was in a time crunch and they finished right on time. Didn’t take any shortcuts, they did a very thorough, genuine job. I will definitely return. Highly recommend!!!

Highly impressed with the attention and detail that Henry, and his crew put into my car. Was in town for a couple weeks and started looking around Unilocal for car washes then stumbled across So-​Cal Auto detail. I drove over and noticed the business was in a car garage and was confused at first but «don’t let that fool you» on the level of professionalism in this business. Me being a car enthused guy knows that you pay for what you get so I have no problem paying to play but the prices here are really reasonable prices and done with lots of detail. Not only that but Henry and his crew really made me feel welcome and provided me with excellent advice on cleaning and detailing. Next time I’m in town I’ll make an appointment with you guys again, thanks guys the car looks awesome!

I have used So-​Cal Auto for over a year and I am very pleased with their services. I am very particular with my car and Henry and his staff’s attention to detail is what I expect. My car is over 2 years old and it looks brand new inside & out. The paint job shines and the interior is spotless.
I have used other detail & car wash companies in the past and they leave water spots and streaks and rush through the job. So-​Cal Auto takes the time to fully dry the car and finish off the trim & tires. They are very conveniently located in Hazard Center. I would highly recommend them for your auto detail needs.

I am extremely meticulous and OCD when it comes to the cleanliness of my car. I have to admit that Henry and his team does a tremendous job when it comes to caring for the appearance of my car inside & out. I drive a black on black Jeep and I opted to have Henry Opticoat my car to protect it from the elements as I like to haul my dirt bike out and go snowboarding on the weekends. I am truly impressed that there are absolutely no swirls in my black paint due to their hand washing and drying process with top-​notch microfiber towels.
Spend the extra few bucks vs. going down to your crappy drive through car wash if you care about the appearance of your car.
I’ve been seeing Henry for about 4 years now and I plan to stay a loyal client for many years to come because he’s genuine and truly cares about keeping your car looking sharp. This review is long overdue… Thanks, Henry!

I usually take my car to a local car wash where they vacuum and wash, and I get exactly what I paid my $ 20+ for… a decent job. Henry at So-​Cal Auto Detail Center not only accommodated my hectic lifestyle by squeezing me in on Saturday on short notice, but did an amazing job on my vehicle. I was more than satisfied with the results when I came to pick up my ride. No more crumbs (mommy issues), no more grease marks (kiddie issues) and it looked and smelled like a brand new car. #flawless. You can tell they take pride in their work at So Cal Auto Detail.
And you definitely get what you pay for. I will for sure be a regular customer at SCADC from here on out.

I called and made an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in even tho they were fully booked. When I got there I met Henry and thanked him for taking me. He told me it would take about an hour and when I came back I couldn’t believe I was looking at my car. Henry did an amazing job detailing the interior… haven’t seen it this clean since I bought it and he was also able to get all the scuff marks off of my car. It looks brand new! I called and made an appointment for Saturday. I walked in and met Henry and he said it will take about an hour. I came back and my vehicle looked brand new, the attention to detail is the best I’ve seen from exterior to interior. My car looks, smells and feels new. The 2 guys working there (sorry I didn’t catch their names) were super friendly and hospitable while I waited for my car to get done. I think he even gave me $ 10 off my service.
We just got done moving from Indiana and my car was FILTHY! Truly disgusting. They did a fantastic job with everything, even got all the bugs off my bumper.
I’ll be returning when I can. The only problem I have with this place is that they’re open only during the time I work making it difficult to make an appointment.
