Introduce your child to the wonderful world of sports through Soccer Shots, starting at age 2!

Soccer Shots is for families who want the best for their young children (2+ years), are actively engaged in their education and are looking for a fun and age appropriate sports activity, Soccer Shots is THE Children’s Soccer Experience (that introduces children to soccer with a focus on character development).

— We are a national organization of caring individuals positively impacting children’s lives through memorable and engaging experiences.

— Our carefully selected coaches are passionate about teaching children, have an intimate knowledge of soccer and are professionally trained in using our acclaimed, creative and non-​competitive curricula.

— We provide timely rich communication to families about their child’s enthusiastic participation and the Soccer Shots experience.

WHO? We have a 2 year old specific program, a 3 – 5 year old program and also a 6 – 8 year old program. Each age group curriculum is different and extremely age appropriate.

WHAT? We focus on having FUN, while guiding kids through imaginative type games that teach basic soccer skills but that also give us the venue to teach the kids the positive character traits that come along with being part of a group and a team and having a coach.

Soccer Shots was originally started in 2002 by soccer professionals on the East Coast and has grown into a national phenomena. There are different operators on the local level.

At Soccer Shots San Diego Central, Jim and Stefanie Hill started in 2010. Jim grew up in San Diego and is the second oldest of seven children. He attended St. Augustine High School in North Park and played basketball there and for Mira Costa College in Oceanside. Jim played soccer, baseball, football, basketball, and volleyball growing up and relishes the opportunity to introduce children to the wonderful world of sports through Soccer Shots. Jim and Stefanie’s main goal in becoming Soccer Shots directors is to get young kids excited about being active through soccer, as well as to pass on the positive influences that the sport provides.

Business Owner

Jim started playing organized sports at the age of 6 and was very active. After graduating from St. Augustine High School, he went on to play basketball at Mira Costa College in Oceanside. He is the second oldest of seven children and has always loved sports and being around and helping kids build their confidence. Stefanie grew up in rural Roseau, Minnesota where she earned a basketball scholarship to play at the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba Canada. She earned her degree there and moved out to sunny San Diego. She and Jim and have been married since 2012 and just had their first child, Gracie in January of 2014.
