This review is only for the softball field. I play in the Wednesday Vavi softball field. I’ve played on at least 4 other Vavi fields and this is one of the best. The infield is level and gives true hops. The ground is usually very solid, which makes it quick but not good for diving or sliding. It’s coed softball, so you shouldn’t be sliding anyway though… The outfield grass is also level and maintained very well. Again, it’s a quick outfield, so anything over your head is gonna be a homerun since there is no homerun fence. Dugouts are good and there is plenty of street parking. Its also a pretty central location between the 805 and 5 just north of the 52. Minus 1 star for the following reasons: There are no lights in the outfield, so it gets darker the deeper you are. No homerun fence.(I like to trot when I hit one deep.) No good bars near by for after the game.
