Our whole home was flooded with the El Nino storms. Salam came out that same night and work started the following day! Couldn’t be happier with their service! I think it was the first time ever that a construction project was done on time! We were back in our house in 2 weeks with beautiful new floors and he even cleaned all of our carpets. He was in contact with us the entire time and very understanding about our urgency to get back in our house. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get flooring done in our house! Thank you so much to everyone at star flooring!

Got referral from our property manager to replace carpet with engineered wood. Doug was the salesperson who worked with us and tried tirelessly to find the similar matching wood to our existing flooring. The one he found, unfortunately was discontinued by the manufacturer. We eventually had to settle with a closest match but different specie of wood. The installer did a great job and Doug has facilitated patiently to have them come back to take care of glue residue and resurface the existing wood. The main office staff were always professional whenever we called. We’d highly recommend Star and truly appreciate Doug’s performance throughout the whole process.

Star Carpet and Flooring just finished a major flooring project in my home. They demolished about 700 square feet of old Saltillo tile and put some beautiful ceramic tiles down. The end result is fantastic.
Starting with tile selection, Star worked with us extensively to pick an appropriate tile for our taste and environment, and delivered numerous samples whenever requested. Their expertise really paid off in the tile we went with.
Star gave us a timeline that they stuck with, which was great for such a big job since we were balancing a remodel at the same time. Their installers were very pleasant and kept the work environment as clean as possible. The old floor had some surprises as work went along, but they worked with us to stay within our budget.
We could not be happier with our new floor. Star’s installers are gifted professionals, and recommended without hesitation.

From my first call to inquire about services and setting up the appointment (I’m sorry I don’t know her name, but she was awesome and so helpful!) to final cleaning, I couldn’t be more pleased with the service from Star Carpet. I had a rush request for an area rug that they made happen. Yousef was great — professional, fast and courteous. Couldn’t be happier with their service and highly recommend.

Yousef is a really hard worker and did a great job! We had our carpets, area rug and large sectional cleaned. He worked quickly and quietly (while my 4 month old was sleeping) and our carpets look brand new. Yousef is the man!!! I am so happy he was the one to come and do the job! They look brand new! I asked a few questions on the process of how it all works, and he gladly smiled and explained each process without hesitation. He was quick, efficient, and thorough with everything. If you want your carpets to look as good as mine do, call this place ASAP, and ask for Yousef! I will definitely be referring this company, and Yousef in particular to everyone!

We recently had a really bad mold problem in our office & stains all over our carpets. Gerardo came in & cleaned our carpets so good & so fast! I’m really surprised at how well the job was done. Wow. I rarely leave feedback on Unilocal,but I was blown away by Jousef’s service, attention to detail, and flexibility. My tile floors look amazing (the grout was dirty and now it looks white and brand-​new), my wood floor is shiny and my carpet looks excellent!

Jousef was awesome I couldn’t be happier. I saw how good a friends carpet looked after they had theirs done and we had been talking about getting to ours done awhile. They came with great reviews and offered a price that can’t be beat. Quick, professional, and did a great job. Our carpet looked nasty now I dont have to make excuses when we invite girls over. I was looking for a quality product and a good price point for flooring for an investment property I am fixing up. The people at Star Carpet and Flooring were knowledgable and honest in my first dealings with them. I appreciate their not trying to squeeze me and giving me the lowest possible price without haggling. It was a pleasant experience and I left feeling I got a good deal. The owner Salam’s philosophy is be fair and honest with the customer the 1st time; which he explained to me builds life long customers and their friends. Had a small flood due to the recent rain and Star Carpet came to my home right away! Gerardo assessed the problem and within 30 minutes had pulled up the carpet and padding, and set up drying fans and a dehumidifier! He informed me that it would take 2 – 3 days to completely dry out, came back on Saturday morning, relaid the padding, carpet and then cleaned the are that had been flooded! He was courteous, professional and informative! With warm appreciation to Gerardo and Star Carpet & Flooring!

Good job!!! Our carpet is an old style and there are lots of stains. I didn’t expect much from the cleaning because of the age of the carpet, but this guy Yousef really surprised me! He was friendly and also cares about the customers. He sprayed a good-​smell chemical everywhere and used high temperature vacuum to kill the bacteria. You can tell the difference in a minute! Can’t say enough good things about this company.

I’ve been meaning to write these guys a review and I found myself on Unilocal describing a recent restaurant outing and couIdnt pass up the opportunity. I needed to replace carpet and some hardwood in my family’s vacation condo and Star Carpet won my business. I did my research and the price was what drew me in first. They were upfront and open about options cheaper than I went with which built my trust for them. The work was scheduled promptly and the installers arrived when they said they would. Good job overall! Star Carpet installed luxury vinyl for my kitchen and bath. Price was reasonable and installation was good. Only reason why it didn’t receive a 5 star was when they hooked up my washing machine back, they switched the cold and hot water pipe to my washer.
