OMG, I cannot express how much I love this place! This is the best coffee shop in the history of coffee shops! I go here all the time and my favorite items are probably the Strawberry Acai Refresher, the Vanilla and Double Chocolate Fraps, the Buttered Croissant, and the Iced Coffee! It’s sometime’s busy, but that does not stop them from making good coffee. Stores are clean, and all employees are super respectful! The only thing I don’t like is their Lime Refresher. It tasted like cinnamon, not lime. I hope you go here sometime, because you will not regret it!

Because I used to work as a barista for Starbucks, I’m aware of the standard to which baristas are held and these folks could use some re-training. This review is based on several visits to this location; I live in the neighborhood. 1. Very slow service. Whether it’s a Saturday morning or a Tuesday afternoon, it takes anywhere from 10 – 30 minutes to get a drink here. seriously. 2. Staff is not friendly at all — sometimes even rude. The past two times I’ve ordered a drink they didn’t get it right and when I told them I ordered a triple or a quad on two different occasions the baristas look at me like, so? — that amazes me. I know for a fact that it’s starbucks policy to remake any drink that a guest isn’t happy with, and to do so promptly with a smile. And I’m not even asking for a new drink, just add the extra shot I ordered and I’ll be on my way. 3. general lack of pride in the store and lack of customer service. The condiment bar is rarely stocked well and baristas talk amongst themselves way more than they attempt to interact with guests. I really don’t like going here and I avoid it if I can. I sincerely hope this neighborhood gets a different coffee shop sometime soon.

Hey, it’s SBux so you get the same stuff. I don’t order much but this staff almost always remembers what I like before I get my mouth open. Great attitudes and often joke around. Popular inside and out, often slammed at peak hrs. Poor facility maintenance with a whole wall of outlets dead for more than TWO months. Big cabinet collapsed at Christmas. Toilet is often broken. Meet the Great Dane«Diesel» who is their mascot

Unfriendly staff. rarely greet you with a smile. Always slow no matter what time of day. Several times I’ve ordered food and their either out or make a mistake and forget the fixings for the classic oat meal. I come here out of convenience… I’ll drive to Carmel mtn or Bad Ass coffee instead. These employees take their customers for granted it’s too bad!

I’ve been coming here since I was old enough to spend my allowances and now that I’m in college, this location continues to be frequented when I come home for breaks and summer. Baristas are normally pretty nice and the store is cozy. Not the biggest Starbucks but they have some seating outdoors too. Drinks are pretty consistent and if you ever have any problems, they normally remake it for you right away. Shares a shopping plaza with Vons and Rite Aid so there is always ample parking.

It’s Starbucks. You get the same drink at nearly every location, so evaluation is based only on the cleanliness, friendliness and speed of the baristas. I also understand that sometimes the 10 minute spins happen at more like 20 minute intervals because you’re busy and it’s important to keep the customers happy with their drinks, but it’s not acceptable, in my book, to have one milk cylinder, empty, sitting on the only station. There’s typically three, and maybe a couple are toward the bottom in terms of fullness, but not one, unlabeled, and completely empty. Now, at the time, I’d already been waiting for my drink so long(due to the only barista making drinks spending too much time laughing with the group of older gentleman that clearly come every morning) I didn’t have time to wait for more half and half(or milk, or whatever was in that cylinder) so I just put it near the barista and left, so as a result my drink was less than stellar. TL, DR; if you want slow service head on over here. It’s your place.

This is my hometown Starbucks. And I guess for that reason I always like the sense of home here. I like the updated seating and decore. Coffee and food remains consistently good. Baristas are nice. Parking is easy. All in all a solid coffee choice.

Seats inside & outside. Plenty of tables to study, catch up with friends, surf the Internet, & plenty of outlets as well. They play great music & not too loud that if you are studying, is disruptive. Customer service is great. Make sure to download the Starbucks App because if you do spend sometime here, you can get free refills on teas & coffees with the app. Tea Lemonades are $ 0.50 for refills.

I love this location. It’s right across the street from me so I end up coming here a lot. Especially when it gets hotter, because I love sipping on a cool drink. The staff here are super friendly! I have seen them do the nicest things for customers time and time again. As far as Starbucks go, it is a medium sized store. It can get crowded because so many people come here to study, though I can’t blame them because I find it the perfect atmosphere to study. Not too loud, and not too quit. And unlike our local library, they have air conditioning. They also have really comfy patio seating, which is perfect on a warm spring day.

It’s a standard Starbucks. I don’t frequent it on a daily basis since I am not working at the moment, so I don’t know how service is when you are a «regular.» When I do come in, it’s usually with my three year old daughter. We get what we need with a smile and friendly service. Nothing super exceptional, but I’m glad they are friendly. Location is usually clean. They have ample seating inside and outside. It’s a nice location to just sit and have a coffee/chocolate milk day date with my little girl before grocery shopping…

Little bit o a smaller Starbucks location that has a small-town sort of feel. Baristas are all friends and service can be fast when its not too crowded The WIFI though is not the best so dont attempt any sort of major online work while you are there.

Good coffee and service. We usually come here when we get bagels next door. Sometimes we walk here on weekend mornings. It’s usually pretty busy at that time but we don’t mind the wait. A few regulars hang out in front, sometimes with their dogs.

Awesome crew. Friendly and my favorite neighborhood coffee shop. The shift manager Jessi was very nice and friendly. Serve the customers and lead with a smile. Thanks Jessie for getting us those clear cups.

Agree with others that their coffee drinks are never consistent and some of the baristas look irritated ALL the time. They, by far, have *THE* worst wifi of any of the Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I’m here right now writing this review b/c there’s not much I can do since their wifi is so ridiculously stupid slow. I’d upload a pic of my bitter iced coffee(or am *I* bitter right now, j/k) but it won’t upload b/c that’s how slow the wifi is here. On a up note, they just got their xmas cups in(for their iced drinks) and I think that’s a first for SB so that was kinda cool.

Had a $ 3 caramel iced coffee. It was very tasty, but 4/5ths of it was ice so it was 3 gulps and gone. Despite its good taste, I won’t be getting one again. Too much $ for too little. Good place to wait for daughters summer camp to end. 07/25/2013 WiFi Speed = 1.3MB Down, 0.8MB Up

My go-to Starbucks when I want more peace and quiet. They’re not as busy as the Mira Mesa location — I feel like I have to fight for a seat there. The baristas here are really nice and they always make my drinks taste better, for some reason. I noticed that the music at Starbucks are getting a little bit louder, which can be a distraction sometimes, but it happens at all Starbucks. I wish they opened a little bit later … currently here right now … and they close at 8pm tonight(Saturday) :P Parking can be a little tough during peak hours. Lots of seating both inside and out though!

Sooo friendly .a very nice place to come get your coffee and your spirits up! Have fun and enjoy a delicious drink here! They are constantly hiring very nice friendly staff and they really make your drinks well every time… Also. if u become one of their usual customers they will try and most likely learn your drinks so you can enjoy your fave drink as soon as they see u come down the door. I used to work here and love this place for that even more!

It’s been a while(at least for me) since I’ve been to a Starbucks. Fortunately this particular location had plenty of tables(even a big bench!) and an outlet was pretty easy to find. They’ve got a bunch of dog-friendly tables outside and even a water bowl for your pooch. I decided to try something new today and went with the vanilla bean Frappuccino. While it was pretty good and you could taste the bean, it simply reminded me of a shake versus a real frap. In other words, it was kind of boring. Service at this location seems sort of indifferent and the baristas talked to customers in kind of an abrupt tone. As a place to work from though, it was pretty good. It’s quiet and convenient and there is tons of parking and places to get a quick bite to eat. It’s pet-friendly so that’s always a plus so bring your furry friends along if you need to get some work done outside. Food: 7⁄10 Service: 5⁄10 Price: $ Atmosphere: 8⁄10
