Although this particular location makes the coffees and food just like any other, there is always something broken or many items that they have run out of. I have visited the location close to 10 times and every single time, there has been something that they didn’t have. Sometimes it isn’t a big deal, like the toasted graham lattes, but other times they are out of straws or cannot take credit cards due to network issues. Today, they could not accept starbucks cards or starbucks apps. I will continue to come due to the luxury of it being on base, but it seems to desperately need some help from corporate

The staff is always friendly to me and my drinks are always delicious. This morning however they impressed me so highly I’m taking a few moments to write a review. On my way to work I got a craving for a Carmel macchiato and some iHop from the food court. I always order my coffee first, so I go in and order then realize my wallet is not in my pocket. Sigh. I go to my car and discover I left it at home. I am so bummed because I was really in the mood for that coffee… No seriously really in the mood for it. So I go in to tell them the unfortunate news and hope they didn’t make it already. They had it ready and I apologized. They were very cool about it and while I was standing outside asking my wife to bring my wallet at lunch. The guy(I think a manager) brings it out and says don’t worry about this one its on us. AREYOUKIDDINGME??? Thank you Starbucks for your great customer service. You brought the start of my day back to a positive.

worst Starbucks I have ever been to… for the last 6 years I have ordered a grande extra hot sugar free vanilla latte… so at this point I know exactly what the sugar free vanilla syrup tastes like… today my boyfriend went to grab me a sugar free vanilla iced coffee with milk and when he brought it home to me it tasted like french vanilla(very hazelnuty) and it was Breve(half and half, not 2%) so I decided to go back and return it for the right coffee. I am not picky, but vanilla and hazelnut are two completely different things. They were nice enough to remake it, but as soon as I tasted it I tasted hazelnut again… I told the girl working and with extreme attitude she handed me two cups of syrup(one sugar free vanilla and one hazelnut) after I pointed out to her which one was which she asked me rudely what drink it was I wanted now. i don’t know the point she was trying to prove by handing me the syrup, but I had had it at this point, because they have messed up my drink once before(two weeks ago they gave me a nonfat latte instead of a breve) so just ordered a regular iced coffee. Honestly just horrible service… especially for a brand that usually has the best service in the industry!

On base, close to work. friendly staff, the only thing I wonder is why the drinks here cost more than outside. New management last few months and it seems to be getting better…

The only major difference between this Starbucks and other ones is that this one is in front of pier 2 of the 32nd street Naval base of San Diego. It’s got all the normal Starbucks drinks and treats. The baristas there are very nice and friendly. At times, they have lots of people to take your order, so it speeds up all the orders.
