History

Established in 2007.

In 2007 STARLITE was one of only a handful of bars and restaurants in San Diego dedicated to serving locally sourced food and artisan cocktails at reasonable prices. Starlite debuted the «Starlite Mule» in 2007 and was one of the first in Southern California to resurrect the famous Moscow Mule cocktail, served in a traditional copper mug. In 2009 Starlite won an «Orchid» award for interior design. Local design/build team Bells & Whistles transformed the space from a dive bar to one of San Diego’s most respected food and beverage establishments.
