The daycare was established to provide quality childcare to the community at a fair and reasonable price. In 2006 the daycare opened it’s doors to the public and has successfully provided families a place to leave their children with peace of mind. Not only does this facility provide a safe haven for children to play and learn, it gives parents the assurance that their children are properly cared for and treated with respect.

With 4 associates degrees in Child Development and a nearly completed bachelors degree in behavioral Science, Tammy has successfully ran her daycare for 5 years. She is truly a CD professional.

She has over 13 years childcare experience and was a lead preschool teacher for 8 years.

Her philosophy is based a strong belief that each child is unique, special and individual. She believe that children learn through play. And she provides the children with the opportunity to gets hands on and learn.

She is dedicated to the children and families and builds a strong bond with them.

At Starting Small children have the knowledge that they are loved and wanted and they receive the respect, acceptance, and appreciation they need.
