Stellar Experiences is the Premier Provider of Astro Tourism, telescope set up, and Night Sky Tours, using one of my seven telescopes (ranging from 2″ to 28″) or one of yours. Did you get a telescope for Christmas and don’t know how to use it? Or did you find one in a closet and know nothing about it. I can help. I am a professional astronomer and space scientist, and have taught hundreds the wonders of the night sky, and how to use your telescope or mine to find the fascinating objects that lie beyond the naked eye. I also offer a full line of Astronomy and Space jewelry, gifts, apparel, and travel gear. Event services, entertainment, and speaking engagements provides you a distinct difference from all the other events and planners. A wide range of topics includes current and future astronomy and space events, the need for space, college planning, and how to make a better student, all with a healthy dose of clean humor.

History

Established in 2007.

Began as a tutoring business, which evolved into an Astronomy and Space events and Astro Tourism business beginning in 2010. I am the former Treasurer of the San Diego Space Society

While completing my Master’s in Space Studies, I taught college astronomy and physics. Most of my undergraduate coursework was as an astrophysics major with an aerospace engineering minor, and I opted to use that background to pursue a business imparting the wonders of the universe to anyone who is interested. Often, I use examples from everyday life to illustrate a point, and certainly to better explain a complicated physics, math, or chemistry concept, when I used to tutor.

Now my time is spent speaking, working on my book and website, authoring a blog, conducting Astro Tourism and Night Sky Tour events, and helping people prevent having a closet telescope.

I hold, or have held, memberships or Director positions in most, if not all, national and local astronomy and space societies and organizations.
