We loved working with Stephy and Kim! Stephy is very personable, fun, and organized! Emphasis on the organization because it is so important in weddings. She knows her business as far as timing and organization of weddings. She knows what things could go wrong and is prepared for that. And she knows that family can be crazy… she is prepared for that too. And most importantly, she takes amazing photos! She has a great eye and great editing skills. She is slightly more expensive than the regular joe schmoe, but that’s because she gives quality. This is one thing you don’t want to skimp on for your wedding. She also took our engagement photos and they are gorgeous! She gave me a great tip which was do my hair and makeup trial the day of my engagement photos… smart lady! Can’t go wong with Stephy!

Stephy is amazing! She worked with me on a bridal boudoir shoot and it was so much fun. It was my first time, i was really nervous but she coached me through it and it felt like a breeze!

I am from Arizona and wanted to take photos with my fiancé and pup on the beach when we went to vacation in Ocean Beach, CA. From the first communication with Stephanie she was informative and quickly replied to my emails. The day of the shoot she was on time and ready to roll! We made small talk which was nice because it made me feel at ease and comfortable with her; she was personable, like a friend I never knew I had! I was so nervous because I had never taken professional photos before and by the end of the shoot the nerves were gone. The photos turned out better than I could even imagine. She also has a quick turnaround time to view the teasers. I would HIGHLY recommend her as your photographer!

Stephanie took group photos for my dental hygiene program and individual professional photos. The day of our photoshoot, we had students who had to leave early, so Stephanie really accommodated and worked quick and efficient so those who had to leave wouldn’t be late to work. Our group photo came out SO good, and everyone in our class was happy with the final version. I also had individual professional pics taken, and I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites because I loved them ALL. I felt completely comfortable taking pictures, which I think is really important, especially if you’re camera shy and don’t know what to do or how to pose. She’s funny and really engages with her «models» which makes the experience really fun. Stephanie’s a natural, and really has an eye when framing her shots. She’s definitely someone I will stay in contact with when I need professional photos taken!

So let me start off with… I am the LEAST photogenic person in the entire world. And I mean that seriously. I’m the one with the eyes closed, picking the nose, goofy smile, well you get the point. So, along comes Stephy. She tells me…“don’t worry, I got this”. Of course I don’t believe her because every photographer since the dawn of time has told me the exact same words. So then the photo shoot comes, I do what she tells me (even though at the time I think she’s crazy). Then I get the proofs… I am a human being… I have photographic proof. WOW! Totally blown away. The ‘thin’ poses she had me do actually made me look thin… no photo shop here, actual artistry. I wouldn’t trust my photos with anyone else now that I’ve had photos from her. Honestly, without question, the best photographer I’ve ever come across. Trust her… you will not go Wong (see what I did there??).

Stephy is great, professional and totally understanding. I have a 17 yr old boy who abhors having his picture taken. So, he was dragged along for a family portrait. Stephy was so fast and was able to make it painless for him! Not only do I have beautiful group pics of the 5 of us, but I have single ones of my son who is a graduating senior! yeah! Thanks a million!

Absolutely fantastic experience. We shot our engagement photos in Balboa park with Tina. She was so helpful in giving us two separate options for where to get the best pics. She made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. I can’t stop thinking about our day here and the pictures are outstanding.

Steph has photographed so many occassions for me– maternity, newborn, 1^st birthday, and mini sessions here and there. I was also the maid of honor in a wedding that she photographed. Photos were beautiful.

I have been using the services of Stephanie and Tina for Years and I could not be happier. I found them when looking for photogs for my sisters wedding. They produced the most fantastic photos from her wedding, and now using them each year for family photos helps me capture precious moments of my growing babies. Love these ladies! They have the best personalities, and make you feel beautiful even when you feel like you’re not at your best!

Today we had an amazing family photo shoot with Stephanie. She was detailed in her instructions on where and when to meet, as well as what to expect during our «Holiday Mini-​Session» at the park. She immediately engaged with our toddler and drew out the best smiles AND eye contact for some great shots. She knew this venue well (Poway-​Midland Railroad park), and allowed us to include a few ideas of our own. There were giant puffy clouds against a bright blue sky, so she understood when I suggested my husband and I hoist our son in the air while she captured his expression against the sky.
While this was our first shoot with Stephy, she has been behind the scenes editing images for our family photos since 2013, always providing the best photographs. We have had the pleasure of working with her for our son’s newborn photo shoot, his baby shower (125 people in attendance in the weeks following his arrival!), three holiday family photo sessions, AND head shots necessary for print media. Her professionalism and passion for the artistry are evident in every image, and her personality is perfect for drawing out the best in her subjects… who seem to become instant family.
On a side note, while waiting for our session to start at the park, I observed her with another family, whose young girls appeared totally done with the whole photo deal. When the parents couldn’t convince the sweetly-​dressed girls to sit for «just one more photo», Stephy did an amazing job on their behalf and successfully completed their session with those last few important shots.

We have had our photos taken by Stephanie a few times and we just keep coming back. She is so fun to work with and we always get a great product. I love the personal relationship she gives us as if we are part of her family and she wants us to have the best results for all of our photos!

We used Stephanie as our photographer for our wedding and engagement photos. They were absolutely the best! They are very professional and work in timely manner. If there were 10 stars, I would give them to Stephy Wong Photography! Within minutes of first reaching out to Stephanie I received an email back about shooting my wedding which I was extremely impressed about. She lives in Temecula and I live in the LA area but Stephanie was super accommodating with the distance and my work schedule to meet with me over skype. I knew immediately that I liked her and trusted her. She was so friendly and funny from the very beginning.
Stephanie is extremely communicative when it comes to emails which I think will put any bride at ease. You never have to worry about asking her a question and not getting a response (we even had multiple email conversations going back and forth).

On the day of our wedding (2 years ago) Stephanie and her second shooter Ann showed up on time with smiles on their faces and they were ready to start the crazy day! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable and put us at ease the entire time. They got everything on our list that we wanted and then some. They follow you around like Paparazzi all night which sounds like it would be weird but it was actually really helpful because you werent needing to search around for them to get a picture with your friends/​family. (I have been to weddings where I was searching for the photographer to take a picture and it is rather annoying. You never have to worry about that with Stephanie and Ann!)
Stephanie is funny and sweet and has a great eye + sense of humor (which is important). My pictures were absolutely beautiful and I get comments on them ALL the time.

I recently worked closely with Stephanie on a family wedding, and it was an amazing experience. I have been an event planner out of state for many years, but I didn’t have a preferred vendor list in San Diego. I knew the photographer would be one of the most important vendors on my list, so I immediately started looking around and contacting photographers.
Stephanie and I had a phone appointment to discuss our short timeline (less than two months of planning). Luckily the wedding was a weekday and she was available. Our meeting was extremely efficient and informational. Stephanie took her time to explain how she operated day of, and what we should expect along with what she expected from us to help the process. We hit it off professional and personally, and our conversation flowed like old friends.
The process was extremely smooth, Stephanie continued to stay in contact with me and always answered her emails quickly. Stephanie was attentive to the details of our event, and stayed in constant communication with me. She communicated with me about deadlines and her website was easy to navigate with all updates on one site. All the information she needed was on one site, and I could easily update it as our timeline changed.
I feel that the photographer is one of the most important aspects as far as following the timeline goes on the day of. Stephanie was early to our event and let me know when she was 10 minutes out so that I could be prepared when she arrived. She was so attentive to the Bride and Groom and making sure she go the shots they wanted. She constantly was aware of what I was changing so she could make sure she was in the right place at the right time, without being an obvious part of the wedding. She was respectful of everyone’s time and values!
She knew exactly where to go and where to be so that she did not stand out at the wedding, which is sometimes a hard thing to do! She never made the photos about what she wanted, instead she focused on what would produce the best pictures. She was creative, and yet confident in her shots. She knew the shots to get and didn’t waste any time «trying» out different positions. This was so valuable to the family since they did not have a long reception and they wanted to spend as much time as possible with their guests that were leaving following the ceremony.
Stephanie had teasers up in record time and it was so fun to re-​live the photos with friends and family. I am still getting comments from people about how amazing the teasers were, they couldn’t imagine how great the finals would be! She even produced the final pictures two weeks early! What a treat for the family to have before the holidays. The pictures turned out better then we could have imagined, and her confidence in her talent, exuberates in her photos!
I was so impressed with Stephanie’s professionalism, talent, and final product. We could not have made a better choice. I have worked with some of the most talented photographers in this industry and Stephanie holds her standards just as high! I liked her so much she is doing my personal family photos!!!

As an wedding/​events coordinator I’ve worked with Stephina for several years. They have been my go-​to professional photographers for any event I need photography coverage. We have mainly worked together as vendors for weddings, they are a pleasure to work with. Stephina is very responsive and fast with processing photos. Tina photographed our intimate wedding last week we got our teasers today and when I started this journey I said I just want one nice portrait and I will be happy. The teasers were amazing, forget one portrait I got beautiful results from every picture. Tina was a joy to work with and made the day that was hot and sweaty fun and manage to make this fifty year old bride feel like a princess. Beyond thrilled, can’t wait for trash the dress pics with my dogs!!!
