Stop Shop and Roll

I Recently happened upon stop shop and roll at the Hillcrest farmers market. Seriously, what a fantastic idea! I love the fun, funky, fashion forward clothing and accessories she offers. Her prices are great. She is also easy to find at all the farmers markets and fun food truck events! I hope she opens a store front soon as her eye for fashion and latest trends make it easy to stay fashionable. Go check this fantastic mobile fashion truck ladies you won’t be disappointed!

I don’t write that many reviews… but I felt impelled to write one for Stop Shop and Roll.
I stumbled into this retail truck while perusing the Hillcrest farmer’s market. Katie’s fashion truck is the BOMB! It’s organized, cute, and has a bohemian feel to it. I love the style of clothing and overall theme of this truck. I liked her array of accessories, but my favorites were the dresses and blouses. Katie filled me in on new trends to look out for as well. She was great! Needless to say, I left with a near empty wallet. That’s a good thing. :) Retail therapy fulfilled.

I could not disagree with Carmen more! I LOVE Stop Shop & Roll! Katie always has the best hats, jewelry and clothes for any occasion. Thanks to her truck I’m now getting compliments on my outfits! She’s at the Hillcrest Farmers Market every Sunday which could not be more convenient! I must say above everything else my favorite thing about this truck is Katie; I’m a horrible shopper and all I say is «what do you recommend?» and she knows exactly what looks good on me and like I said I ALWAYS get tons of compliments! I’ll never shop anywhere else! THANK YOU KD!

Not the first ones doing this shopping on wheels, but definitively a refreshing addendum to the shopping landscape. First time I had the opportunity to shop at one of those was when I discovered Therapy boutique style on the go truck (the graffiti look is unmistakable, this one looks more conventional). I like this brand name: Stop, Shop and Roll, very cool and well thought).
I think for a truck boutique the items need to be really unique, whimsical, different, and I think it would benefit the customers not to see the same 3 skirts, 3 pants or 3 dresses. We don’t like mass produced items, as if you buy in the truck is because you want to get something different from Macy’s, or at least the illusion of uniqueness.
I found this truck during my Christmas on the Prado walk (or whatever is called now, I keep calling it the same) and took at look but did not get anything as did not find anything really colorful for me. I am looking forward seeing more and better pieces at the different farmers markets where they will showcase their clothing and accessories.

I knew about food trucks but not shopping trucks. This is such a neat concept! You basically have a boutique on wheels. You can find everything from tops, sweaters, accessories, and even phone cases.
I think my favorite things on the truck were the accessories. There was a wide variety of bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings. There were also a nice range of handmade items and very unique items. I ended up buying very unique handmade dangly earrings. I loved the dainty chain and the colored stones so I had to pick it up.
As for the prices I found that there’s something for every budget. Some of the jewelry items were around $ 25 – 30 which isn’t bad especially for handmade items. And there’s a Unilocal coupon so you can save 15% when you check-​in!
Definitely check it out next time you’re at the Hillcrest farmers market or any other location they pop up.
