We are a young business, but I have been designing kitchens right here in La Jolla for over 20 years.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

As a San Diego area native, I am intimately familiar with the historical, cultural, and architectural influences of the region, as well a local design trends.

My training in residential design began in 1981 working for my father’s construction company in the then-​sleepy town of Ramona. As my career progressed, I apprenticed under some of San Diego’s finest residential architects, including Jim Geldert, Don Edson, and Trip Bennett. I spent twelve years at Dewhurst and Associates in La Jolla, and it was there that I began to focus on kitchen design.

Having mastered the disciplines of my craft, I now work with the nation’s finest brands of cabinetry and appliances (including WmOhs, Plato Woodwork, Columbia Cabinets, and Sub-​Zero/​Wolf) as well as some of the best people in the business today. My design work is regularly featured in local and national publications, and I continue to be commissioned by many of California’s most discriminating homeowners.
