While getting my steak and cheese this morning the assistant manager told me we are out of onions is that OK. When I asked him how you run out of onions at Subway he said we haven’t cut them yet, apparently I didn’t have a choice. As an assistant manager, this is unaccaptable and he should have done the prep work before he opened the store. Maybe next time his lazy ass can just go cut the onion for me that way I can have onion on my steak and cheese.

This place is awesome! It’s a Subway, so you probably know what to expect as far as sandwich selection. Though the store is small they keep it very clean. We usually go later in the evening, so the limited line space isn’t an issue. The service, however, is amazing. They’re quick and responsive, and more than once have gone above and beyond to make my sandwich experience perfect. I recommend this over any other Subway in the area.

I usually wouldn’t review a Subway but I’ve been to the CMR location around 16 times for lunch and have never been let down. Eduardo and co. have this place running like a well-oiled machine. Whoever is in charge should give him and the lunch staff a promotion. I don’t know how they move the line so fast… fast as a Subway! oh. Seriously though, they’ve never screwed up a sandwich, they greet you at the door, and say goodbye when you leave and it never rings empty. I can tell they want a return customer. Will Eduardo be at Subway 5 years from now? No. he’ll be owning one. He and the staff take pride in what they do, and thats rare. These 5 stars are for you Eduardo.

Went in on a februANY… ANY footlong for $ 5, BUT you can’t get the Turkey/Bacon/Avocado sandwich since it will cost extra. Fast service, but some of these workers were new and sloppy at making the sandwiches. I usually like subway, but my sandwich tasted stale today. There’s other locations that i’d rather visit. No seating inside and only 3 tables outside. Cramped inside and parking spots are tiny.

There are so many choices of food that I often forget about Subway and despite living 3 minutes walk from this one for three months I had not been in. However, I was all on my own for the evening, hubby was out having a men’s night. I couldnt be bothered to cook or to walk far at all. So my choices were limited to Olive Garden(if you read my review then you know that is a no go), Sombreros(but I didnt fancy mexican), Carl’s JR(didnt fancy a burger) Café Luna or here. I would have gone to Café Luna had I not been on my own. This branch of Subway is tiny. No indoor seating just a couple of outdoor tables and it wasnt really warm enough to sit outdoors so home I went instead. There was only one member of staff and she looked bored, not surprising really as there was no other customers at all. The sandwich was fine, maybe could have done with a few more pickles, peppers, onions and jalapenos. Oh and more mayo. I had the Italian BMT which is one of my three faves. It was OK, the sandwich was fine but nothing which makes it stand out.

I wanted to have a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and thought I’d try Subway. The picture and description on their website looked great and I figured all I’d have to do is show up and tell them what kind of bread I wanted. What a surprise as I ordered a foot long Philly Cheese Steak sandwich while looking at the picture on their menu board and was instantly asked if I wanted cheese on it. Then I was asked what kind of cheese and what kind of toppings. I repeated that I wanted the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich that they advertise and not something I would have to make up myself. That didn’t work so I ended up with a steak sandwich with a few toppings and a vow never to return to this store.

I’m not really a fan of this location. Last time I was there the(very overcrowded and small) parking lot reeked of sewage and the employee I encountered wasn’t particularly friendly, nor was the store particularly clean. Everything was just kind of okay. Can’t really complain about $ 5 for a sandwich though, so I’m sure I’ll be back anyway.

It’s Subway. Do you really expect a full review from anybody on Unilocal!regarding the quality of the food? Everybody knows what Subway is like. I give this location 1 star because of several things going against their good name: First, all they have is outdoor seating. And they think one thin line of mayo and 7 olives on the sandwich count as «adding mayo and olives». Come on guys, be generous. Last of all, this store has the misfortune to be right in front of a manhole that covers the sewage pipe for the restaurants on that block that all share the main line. It’s not really Subway’s fault, and in fact the donut shop, the Sombrero’s next door, and then the Irish Pub a couple of doors down all sometimes get to share this lovely scent, but it’s most prominent at Subway because the front door is right in front of the parking spot that has the manhole cover. Now combine that tidbit with the«all they have is outdoor seating» bit and you can see where this is going. So if I ever feel like having Subway for lunch, I drive either direction to the one in Poway next to the Target, or the one in Rancho PQ at the Vons shopping centre where the scent and taint of human waste will not affect my want for a basic sub sandwich.

This subway location is pretty good. The staff is usually helpful and friendly. The sandwiches are pretty good especially if you do the $ 5 subs. There is a downside to the location and that’s the trash smell coming from the alley if you sit outside. Every so often when you are about to take your next tasty bite you get a waft of ass fill your nostrils. This really makes you not want to eat any more. The inside is clean and well kept so stay indoors or get it to go. Overall pretty good.
