Our experience with Sunroad Collision Center was absolutely great. I am very happy with my car it looks new. Ms. Kimberly Allsteter, our Collision Repair Consultant was very courteous professional, knowledgeable and kind. From start to finish everything went as explained (no changes or surprises). I received the car earlier than promised which was great. Sunroad Collision Center appears to be a great place to work. If I ever need auto body work in the future

Great experience as always! My second time here, Toni at the front desk was so friendly and helpful and was able to get me in and out & get me into a rental in a timely manner! I dented in and scratched my passenger door and they were able to get everything done in a weeks time! They always get it done so fast and also do an amazing job at the same time. I took my 2012 Nissan Versa here for some front end damage. They did the repairs in a little over a week which was great to only have the car gone for a week. I liked the updated email feature that lets you know where your car is in the process of the repairs. When I called Tiffany was very nice and helpful with any questions I had. I would use them again if needed, but I hope not to every again ;-)

Horrible service. I was never updated on the status of my car while it was in the shop unless I called. My contact person even told me that they don’t call the customers until the end of the repair. After I got my car there was a horrible smell in the car that I still can’t get rid of weeks later. I would never take my car here again. There are still mechanical issues with the car that they claim weren’t their fault even though they were not problems when I brought the car in to their shop. Their service is poor at best. Don’t take your car here to get repaired because something will go wrong while they have it and they won’t help you fix it after you paid.

Candy Liao — superlative customer service, amazing ability to listen and interpret customers requests while at the same time allowing the customer the ability to gain trust and peace of mind. She has customer service skills or should I say people skills that can not just be learned from years of on the job training but I feel that have been instilled at a young age. Candy is a perfectionist whom holds herself to standards higher than any of which I have not experienced in other employees or even some managers of high end retail, 4 star culinary and hospitality establishments. She went above and beyond my wildest expectations to help facilitate the repainting of my 2011 Honda Accord. She actually picked up the ball when Caliber Collision on Vandever Ave. failed to professionally or even adequately paint my rear bumper. Stephen Pollard was wonderful! I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. Dropped it off in the early bird line, I wasn’t in a hurry. Not only was my vehicle finished early but when I went to pick it up it was spotless. They had washed my car! Wow! Wow! Wow! I will bring all of our vehicles to Sunroad for any of our vehicle needs.

Monnie was awesome, had my mustang in and out of there in no time. Plus the work was great, you couldn’t tell a thing. Great works guys and gals, thanks!

BAIT AND SWITCH
I took the car in for an estimate on a day it was about to rain, double checked with the estimator that she had evert thing she needed for an accurate estimate and left.
Once I received their estimate, I called back in and shared that their it was the second highest of 3 and I’d like to find a way to justify working with them, but she explained that it was their lowest price. Thinking that paying a bit more for a dealer shop, I understood and thought it was worth it. Boy was I wrong.
First I scheduled the car to be dropped off on a Sunday, verified that they could start on Monday since I wasn’t renting a car I needed this done ASAP. Nope, they started it on Tuesday– 1 day lost. They disassembled the car and found out the estimate wasn’t accurate. I’m thinking, there must be damage that couldn’t be seen. Guess what it was? IT WAS THE COLOR OF THE PAINT. «Oh, we didn’t know this was a pearl white.»
I asked to speak to a manager and questioned this mistake. He said, estimators are human and make mistakes. I laughed and said «It’s the color of the car. The ENTIRE car. How do you make that mistake?» He said they didn’t know until they look at the paint code. In order to give me an accurate estimate, why didn’t you check that when I first brought it in? He said they never do that, it takes too long. He tried to make excuse for the estimator saying it was raining. NO, it wasn’t raining, and regardless if they needed to pull it into a garage to give an accurate estimate they should have. He said that wouldn’t happen.
At this point, I really felt they were taking advantage of me and this wouldn’t end well — bait and switch. I asked them to put it back together and I would take it somewhere else. He said sure, that’s $ 200. Really, you made an error in your estimate and now you are going to charge me to put it back together? So now, I am stuck.
I thought I would just grin and bear it. The manager had an attitude, acting like my concern was absurd. End result, they even took 5 days longer than the original estimate. Then to top it off, I get an email from them saying that my front tire had a leak and they were sending it to be repaired and would only cost me another $ 24. First, it didn’t have a leak when I dropped it off and second I didn’t approve it. By the time I picked it up, the repair was done and I had to pay for it to get my car. I asked to speak to the manager, «Sorry, it’s 5 he’s gone». It was worth $ 24 extra to never
I will share this experience with everyone who will listen.
The only reason I gave one star was the guys in the back, did a very nice job on the car.

This was my 4^th trip to Sunroad, no I’m not a terrible driver. As usual, it took just a few days to fix, and when I picked it up, it looked like a brand new truck. I have been taking the beast to Sunroad since I’ve owned it, and it will only be taken to Sunroad. The staff in the office are always so pleasant and accommodating. Steve the manager knows how to get the job done! Thanks!

I took my 2010 Honda Civic Si into Sunroad Collision because they were recommended by Pacific Honda. The paint on my car had been recalled because of defective paint, so Honda paid to have the roof and trunk repainted (hood was already done because of a previous incident). Anyway, that is where I met customer service representative, Monie Sipamouane, Monie was a true professional. She was very thorough in making sure everything needed to be done to repair my car, and has excellent customer service skills. She made absolutely sure I was happy with the work when I left the shop, and was extremely sincere about it. The paint job was absolutely flawless, and glossy as a mirror. Paint was matched perfectly. I am extremely satisfied with the workmanship and customer service with Sunroad Collision Center. Thanks Monie!

Hello I would just like to say the service here was AMAZING! Unfortunately my Civic got hit and I took it here and they gave me a free rental for 5 days and when I got my baby back it looked as if nothing every happened to it ! The staff was so friendly and the front desk lady (Toni) was so sweet! When I was leaving there was a truck parked in front of my car and one of the staff I think her name is Moni I’m sorry I can’t remember her name but she moved the white truck and she was so nice to tell me more details about the service and overall I was extremely happy! I also appreciate how fast I got my questions replied to by Anthony ! Thank you team! Keep up the great work !! :)

I got to this place just because when I take my Mustang to Ford Kearny Pearson, Tim, my contact person at Ford, referred me to this place, he even gave me a name (Candy) that sounds like the best one that I can trust.
When I got there, I asked the front desk for Candy, she came out later and the first thing came out from her mouth is, why are you asking for me? (with very unfriendly tone) That day I already had doubt on this place. I tried to call other places that I trust but they declined because they are HONEST– they don’t repair convertible top (cover). Not here, Steve took the job right away but actually sent it out somewhere else. «The work is lifetime warranty, if you are not happy with the work, as long as you own the vehicle, you can always take it back». Several times when I wash my car I notice that there are some leaks around the top. Tried to just forgot about it but finally I decided to take it back there. When I spoke with Steve, here is what this person said: «We’ll do some diagnostic to find out what’s the problem with your top, don’t know how long it’s gonna take, either we fix it for you or we may need to CALL YOUR INSURANCE, they need to check and pay for it. You can tell that he is not happy with my request. Long story short, the morning I took my car there, the car is ready in the afternoon. Came there, the front desk just handed me the key, saying, yeah… it’s fixed. Wow… never in my life, I had that kind of experience. I had to asked for Steve to come out and explain what they did to my car. I could tell from the discussion, the ‘DIAGNOSTIC’ that he said he was going to do is just a total BS. When I pushed hard, he said, well. you can always call your insurance to have them fix it, because we already fixed it, we fixed it, we fixed it, that’s the only words came out from his mouth. I should read Unilocal and never listen to FORD KEARNY PEARSON before taking my car to this place. Stay away from them!

This is my first accident and luckily my vehicle was parked when all this happened. A drunk driver drove right into my car and it looked like there was no way my car was going to be able to get repaired looking the way it did.
I didn’t know what to do, but after doing some research and getting referred by several of my friends I decided to take my vehicle here for repairs.
They did not disappoint! I am extremely happy with the service from start to finish. The person who was handling my repairs was Monie and she was very thorough with what I’ll be up against. I didn’t care– I just wanted my baby fixed! She was knowledgeable and professional. I trusted her and I just let her do her job and she delivered.
I picked my car up and it was like seeing my baby for the first time again! It was a lengthy repair, but I completely understand– it was a HUGE repair. They did an AMAZING job! It looked like it never happened. They also offer a lifetime warranty on all of their work which gives me a piece of mind!!!
I will definitely recommend these guys to everyone.

Our recent collision with our business vehicle has taught us a lot. Some collision centers will do part of the job and you have to go somewhere else to finish the job, some do not know there quote system and they have to pay for the use/​licensing of it… some I’m afraid may use duct tape.

I have never experienced such great customer service! Having been in an accident, just weeks after purchasing a new vehicle at Kearny Pearson Ford, I was devastated. I decided to take my car back to the dealer to get it fixed the right way, and sure enough a lovely young lady by the name of Monie Sipamouane handled my claim with the utmost professionalism. Even though I live in Los Angeles, I went to school in San Diego, and have been taking my car down to San Diego so that I can work with Candy Liao and her team for the last 7 years. It is totally worth my drive down due to the reasonable prices, precision of work done on my car, timely turnaround time, and in the few cases there were delays, the communication from Candy was impeccable. I lease my cars, so it has been impressive that all work was done at the same impressive level whether it was my Honda Accord, my Audi A3 or my Mazda 3.

Sunroad Collision Center is the best choice for car repair in my life.
I am very impressed with their work quality and customer service.
My car had somewhat large damage at a parking lot. The other car moved backward and hit my car on the left side. Their estimate was very reasonable and kindly explained the details. Once they started the repair, they sent me e-​mail updates regularly about the progress status. So, I felt very informed of the whole status and progress.
The repair work was great, and done in a very professional way. It looks even better than before the accident and damage.
Between me and other driver’s insurance carrier, there was some disagreement regarding how to handle the portion of prior-​damage. Sunroad Collision Center helped the discussion and process of the claim in a very reasonable and experienced way.
Todd Stork at the office of Sunroad Collision Center told me that they focus on long term reputation, which is a great business philosophy.
I highly recommend Sunroad Collision Center for people looking for body shop.

Just picked up my car from Sunroad and am so happy with the work done! I had a nasty dent and broken front headlight and Monie gave me the best deal around town. I was very impressed with the work and how attentive she was to my schedule and needs. I am definitely telling everyone I know to ask for Monie for any collision needs!

I’ve had my 2014 Cadillac ATS for only six months and damaged my front bumper. Devasted, I got estimates from a few other shops in San Diego. Sunroad gave me the fairest estimate in all of the king’s land so I dropped my car off there.
The ladies at the front desk, Toni and Justine (I think), are very warm and friendly. They made me feel welcome whereas other places treat you like a burden. It was pretty quick for me to drop off my car and Justine got my contact and insurance information.
Communication is key and Sunroad sets the bar pretty high. They called and emailed me throughout the process to let me know what they were doing with my car. My car is my baby so I love that they kept me up to date. They were also very transparent, and let me know that my car would be finished a couple days after the estimated time. Since I know a good job takes time, I was happy to wait a little longer for better results.
When it was time to pick up my car they parked it right out front and spotless. Like brand new again! The complimentary car wash was the cherry on top. I highly recommend this collision center for those looking for minor to extreme body work done. If i can sum it up in three words their service was efficient, friendly, yet professional. Thanks again Toni, Justine, Candy, and Monie. I’ll no longer have to drive my car with disdain.
