I was having one of those days where I was on the go from morning to night and hadn’t eaten anything all day & was frenzied. I was running in for an appointment down the street from where I had parked and saw Synergy: the angels sang, the light shone down and I saw the«vegan /vegetarian food» sign! HAPPYDAY! Within 1 minute I was in and out with a delicious wrap, sold to me by a friendly person, and even was handed a napkin. As I ran down Garnet trying to get to my appointment on time, I stuffed my face with a thai peanut wrap that was out of this world and contemplated my good fortune in finding this oasis in the middle of my crazy day. I will definitely be back when I have more time to check out the array of goodies sold at this little boutique, but until then I am extremely grateful for Synergy being at the right place at the right time, and offering an affordable, quick, delicious vegetarian meal with a smile.

It is hard to imagine a raw food establishment being a bakery — shouldn’t it be an un-bakery? — but I really enjoyed my experience here. I agree that the staff is very friendly and helpful. The woman working was knowledgeable about raw foods and other raw places in the area. The place is small and offers some prepared raw meals from Nature’s Express and Good Mood Food. I tried the spinach quiche and soft taco. Both were good, but could have been a bit fresher. They also have a selection of raw food bars, desserts, and even raw ice cream. And of course you can find GT’s kombucha there. Love that stuff. Towards the back of the small shop there are some raw grocery items for sale, like agave sweetener, olives, nuts, etc. They also have natural body care items but I didn’t get to take a peek at those yet. Synergy is a great place to pick up some raw food and then take a walk down to the beach. My friend and I got there around sun down and ate our raw food as the sun set behind the ocean water. It was perfect.

Well, for what is available in San Diego, this place is alright. It is a very small shop with rare raw or vegan food that you can’t find anywhere else. Everything is pre-made/packaged and apparently some of the food is made by the owner and then packaged. They have raw ice-cream in the freezer along with Acai to make your own acai-bowls at home! i’ll def. be doing that this summer! the store is very limited in the quantity of food they offer. probobly about 30 items in total, fresh or shipped from elsewhere. it’s worth a visit if you’re new to this sort of lifestyle/diet because the guy who always works there is very friendly and ready to tackle any questions anyone may have!

My dog is a vegetarian. There aren’t a lot of vegetarian dog foods out there, and she hates most of them. However, when I discovered Evolution Dog Food, she fell in love. The only problem is that I had to order it online. Then, one day, I received my monthly Synergy newsletter and noticed it mentioned Evolution! Hallelujah! Now I can just drive down to PB and pick it up. And, they told me that if I want to get the super big bag, they can special order it for me. Awesome. Synergy also has delicious vegan marshmallows and s’mores. I’ve never eaten there, but they have a ton of cool stuff worth checking out.

pretty neat store, wouldn’t really call it a bakery because it only has two mini fridges full of raw vegan goodness. kudos to them for carrying items for nature’s express. this is a def stop-in if you are doing the raw vegan thing. although, prepare to drop some green on your green at this location. they have many fun earth friendly products and the staff is super friendly. i will be returning for some yummy treats in the future! oh oh, even if you aren’t raw vegan, the spinach quiche is mouth watering good!

We are brand new to San Diego, and I was delighted to find this gem of a place right down the street! They could not be more friendly and helpful! I tried the raw spinach quiche and it is absolutely fantastic! I also picked up some raw vegan ice cream — which is completely perfect. It is so nice to be able to go to a place where you don’t have to worry about the ingredients in anything you pick up. They also had a nice small selection of other health products. I had no trouble parking right across the street, and even though I didn’t have an exact address, I had no trouble finding it. I’m really glad I found Synergy and I will definitely be back!

it’s delightful to see a small vegan/raw shop in san diego. the food selection is a bit scant, but the rating goes higher because 1) this place is so rare and 2) the staff is so friendly. the food is tasty, and even a non-vegan would enjoy the ice cream they sell here.

Great service… I met the owner Adam as I was heading to World Curry a few doors down. I just dropped in to gander at the fact they have raw ice cream(real treat when you are trying to be raw). He was great about clarifying some information about being raw and vegan, which was so helpful. He kept his doors open a little later than his listed hours since I knew that I would be back for raw ice cream. I ended up picking up raw ice cream and some pre-made treats for lunch the next day. The prices are great for the small place that it is. Much better than some other raw places. Adam mentioned that he is expanding his offerings, which is great since uncooking raw at home is intense. Places like this make it easy to change over to the raw side!

I’m currently testing out a raw food diet. Although I haven’t been eating 100% raw each day, I have been eating at least 85% raw every day. Which is a wonderful personal accomplishment. Its shops like these that can really help a person out, when they want to change up their diet a bit and know that there are still places like these around. I had their raw hummus wrap. It was actually very tasty, and to my surprise it left me feeling full. We also got some raw ice-cream. Which was SO yummy. Banana-Walnut. Which pretty much taste just like homemade banana bread, MMMMmmmmmmn. A little over priced, but it’s to be expected. The Zen garden next door with the waterfall is a nice little addition to the place… I could definitely see them adding more plants in their to make it more relaxing.

good food! friendly service! there’s also an eco-store but didn’t really browse. Some raw items, some cooked(like the bread), but all is Vegan. The Milanese sandwich was really good, and light(which means I’ll need to eat again soon), but tasty. Outside and next door there is seating in the zen garden Parking isn’t a problem either on Garnet or a block away and walk, I’m sure the weather is nice as I haven’t seen a drop of rain in 3 weeks. they also offer some classes if thats your thang. Raw food, Vegan nutrition, meditation and more.
