The best hole in the wall place for tacos, i don’t like chicken but theis chiken from Jose’s chicken is just amazing, and the tacos from Koritas are very good and cheap, with some hot sauze,…wow,… I highly recommended,…very nice people too.

This little Taqueria shares location with Jose’s Pollos and a car wash of all thingss. I stopped in for dinner hoping to find some fine mesquite grilled carne asada street tacos. I found some street tacos, but unfortunately the mesquite grill outside was only for the chicken they were grilling over at Jose’s. I forged ahead and ordered two carne asada and two adobada mini street tacos, each for $ 1.50. For kicks, I ordered a side of re fried beans or frijoles guisados for an additional $ 1.50. The tacos were good, but the carne asada did not have that traditional street mesquite flavor. However, the meat was good, lightly seasoned, and tender. The tacos do not come with guacamole so you have to ask for it and they give you a small container of it. The guacamole was good and was of the extremely blended variety. As a result, it was very creamy and cool to the touch given refrigeration. They double wrap the tacos with corn tortillas, which is smart because they do put a large amount of protein in the tacos. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy the tacos with the hand made tortilla thy make in house, given they were out, so I had to settle for some commercially made tortillas, which were not to bad. The adobada tacos were just fine. The pork meat was tender and had a good chile flavor, but not as flavorful as if it were prepared on a vertical meat spit. I liked that they packed the tacos with the meat and with just the right amount of chopped onions and cilantro. These tacos too did not come with guacamole so I had to add it myself. Good tacos. The re fried beans were okay. They were robust and I really liked that they came topped with salty cotija cheese, but I did not appreciate that they were heated in the microwave, evident by the bubbly drier perimeter of the beans. I wish they would came out of a bubbling hot fresh pot. The lady who took my order and made my food was very nice. I like that she brought me tortilla chips for me to eat my beans with and offered my to warm up some corn tortillas. You can park on the street or pull into the parking lot all three businesses share. It’s surely not the fanciest place around.
