Tessfresh and Tessilk Flowers is a small fresh and silk floral business rooted in San Diego, CA with more than 15 years of floral experience specializing in helping your unique floral vision become a reality. They aim to work with you cooperatively to create florals that are memorable, unique and affordable.

Tess has been working with flowers for more than 15 years. She has managed to grow her love of flowers from a hobby to a top rated and highly awarded full service wedding floral business.

I have had the blessing to work with her for more than 5 years now. She has been one of the biggest inspirations and teachers of my life. I asked her to use her judgment with the ceremony décor, and gave her the colors of my bridesmaids/​groomsmen, and everything came out perfect! I would not have changed anything. Outstanding service and every bit deserving of all the stars they are getting. I sent my girlfriend to Tessfresh based solely on their reviews and she was treated with utmost professionalism in service, they prepared an arrangement based on her budget that way surpassed its value. Wish I had taken a picture of it, but we were on a rush for time and it slipped my mind. Recommend this place if you are into great value and exceptional service.

I would like to thank Tess for the excellent floral arrangements at my son’s wedding last June. She transformed the ballroom at the Manchester Grand Hyatt to someplace magical and one of a kind. The arrangements were beyond description and very classy. Our guests were very impressed with the quality and quantity of the flowers on each arrangement (orchids, orchids and more orchids). I LOVE TESS! Tess created beautiful florals on our wedding day and we got so many compliments! We had two consultants — the initial consultant in which we spoke about design and put together a plan, and a second consultation a few weeks prior to the wedding day to view a mock up of our center pieces, as well as finalize details. She thought it was funny that my husband came to the consultations because «the guys aren’t into the flowers.» Lol. Well he came and we both left happy! She was helpful from beginning to end; not only did she deliver but she offered cost savers a long the way, which was great because we were able to add more than we originally thought possible. I’ll post more pictures once I get them back from my photographer but believe me that you will love her, and her work! Book at least 8 – 10 months in advance, especially if your wedding is in prime season. Our wedding was at the end of August and we secured her at the end of October. XOXO THANK YOU, Tess!

Tessfresh did the flowers for my wedding and I’m so glad I chose them! I attended the mock up and was a little concerned at first because it was not what I wanted and I had discussed something completely different with Tess. But after talking with her about it she made some corrections and the flowers came out exactly how I imagined and I was so pleased! My bouquet was gorgeous and I adored the succulents! Tess is so sweet and helpful and really listens to what you want. She also did not push pricey flowers and instead tried to get you the most for your money which I appreciated. I would recommend Tessfresh and will be using them in the future for any floral arrangements :)

Tess Flowers provided flowers and decorations at the church and our outdoor wedding reception at the garden terrace at Handlery Hotel and it was absolutely amazing. They did our center pieces, bridesmaids bouquets, and our floral backdrop wall that everyone loved. Everyone at the wedding were blown away. Tess and company were really nice and easy to work with during the pre planning. My wife and I highly recommend them for anyone’s wedding. Thank you so much for making it a memorable night. Regardless of what you think you should provide the customer with what they want on their big day if you couldnt do a hydrangea bouquet I would have gone else where not try and pull the heads off or ask the mother of the bride to pull the heads off nearly a 200 $ bouquet. And the weather was overcast on the 21st till around 2pm and the roses wilted before the hydrangea underneath. Every bride deserves what she orders for her wedding day.

All communication was answered timely and even when a problem arose the day of the wedding, Tess sent a staff member to my hotel to quickly fix the issue! Looking for beautiful flowers, great prices, and awesome customer service? Tessfresh had it all.
Was looking to get a bouquet of flowers for a special occasion last minute, but I’m no flower expert, so I found this place on Unilocal.The person that helped me was sooo friendly! She gave me good recommendations, and I couldn’t be happier. Got a dozen red roses and I’m glad I went with their advice. Was able to get great flowers at a really good price too.

I was so glad our wedding planner recommended Tess. Our bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements… Everything looked great! I especially love the experience of working with her. Friendly and professional. She knew exactly what we were going for and helped me decide when I wasn’t sure. Plus her suggestions to make it more affordable were greatly appreciated. (Letting us use our own mason jars and wine bottles. Telling us which flowers achieve the same look but at a cheaper price.) She made this aspect of my wedding planning so stress free.

I absolutely loved working with this company. They are so professional, and great artists! They know their craft and have passion for what they do.
I simply gave them my ideas, color palette and a few pictures to guide them and they were off. Shantel was so helpful and got my vision from the get-​go, while Thomas brought it into fruition.
My bouquet was breathtaking and the centerpieces were everything I had imagined and more!
I was a little wary of going with them because of how «cheap» they were compared to some other (overpriced) florists… but I was not let down!
I will definitely use them again for anything I can… and my husband will be back every year to have my bouquet remade (yeah right, but a girl can dream :)

Tess is amazing! She did my wedding Sept 7,2014. When we sat down and had our consultation. She knew exactly what I wanted when I just showed her a few pictures of my vision. She also gave us a military discount, which was a blessing. She stayed in our budget and also worked with us on our payments. Excellent customer service. That I could not go over. I even forgot my moms corsage and I called 2 days before my wedding and she made it, free of charge. She is truly amazing, thank you so much for making my wedding so beautiful!

I am so thrilled that my amazing wedding planner recommended Tessfresh for my wedding day flowers! Everything came out so beautiful and perfect, I really could not be more happy with all my flowers! During my first meeting with Thomas he explained that they had done several weddings at my venue before and he knew the layout perfectly. He drew up the floorplan and offered amazing advice on cake placement, flower placement on the tables, etc. I LOVED his interest in my wedding, I could tell he genuinely cared and wanted to give me everything I wanted. He made me feel so special and offered tons of advice, which I needed, respected, and loved!
I also loved that I got a second meeting with Tess to see a test run flower arrangement too! How cool! It was great because even though it was gorgeous, I did make a few changes and they came out even more perfect on the actual wedding day.
I felt the prices were perfectly in line with what I received. My bouquet was huge, gorgeous, and soft which I absolutely loved, and the flowers on the bamboo arch were perfect. The perfect size, colors, softness, everything I requested, even the crystal strands added that extra pizzaz that I wanted! And then the flowers on the tables at the reception were absolutely breathtaking. I had sent some pictures of ones that I liked from pinterest, and they went above and beyond and gave me everything I wanted and more. And they didn’t skimp on the flowers lining the isle either! The peachy petals really popped!
Thomas and Tess were such a pleasure to work with, very professional, patient, and responded quickly to all my emails. I could see the amount of detail and care they put into each arrangement and I can’t wait to have some other event where I can use them again for some amazing flowers! I needed to send out a last minute arrangement for a relative, on a Friday, for same-​day delivery. I called in and Tessfresh Flowers produced a beautiful arrangement for a low cost and delivered it without fail.
Great customer service.
DONT use those 800-​flowers, FTD, or teleflora services because they take a large percentage of the price, which prevents your florists from adding more flowers, etc. This is why your arrangements cost so much on those websites.
I highly recommend Tessfresh for your local SD florist needs.
