Cute little store by my place. Walked over for ice cream on a really hot day. Great ice cream flavors. Their chocolate treats looked delicious too, will have to try sometime. Only downside is that there wasn’t a/​c. It was really warm in there which makes me wonder how all the chocolate holds. But anyway, worth a check out!

Cute little Shop that serves amazing ice cream! My group and I came here 10 minutes before closing, but the attendant was extremely nice, friendly, and accommodating. Definitely recommend this place to friends! They do samples, and their caramelized banana ice cream is delicious!

I am a fan! I have been into the shop twice. The guy there is very helpful and friendly. He appears to love what he does. The chocolates are excellent. I bought them as Thank You gifts (for good service) the guy (sorry, I didn’t get your name) packages them very nicely. It makes a great little gift.

This chocolatier not only makes decadent chocolate and cookies, but they also make some very good ice cream. After having lunch near by, I stopped in for some dessert and ordered a cup of their peanut butter fudge ice cream and a chocolate chip cookie (

The ice cream had a mild peanut butter flavor, nothing over whelming, which a loud the fudge to stand out and say «hello!» (
). Now, the ice cream was not as smooth as I have had, a little grainy, but the flavor was there, and paired eating with the chocolate chip cookie, just made my day (
). The chocolate chip cookie was moist and came with a very good amount of chocolate chip morsels (
).
Like I said earlier, they make some good looking chocolate which were being made as I walked in (
). I was offered a sampler but I turned it down, given I had my eyes set on some homemade ice cream. The lady who runs and I presume owns the place, is very nice and welcoming.

Stumbled upon this little place in north pb by imputing ‘dessert’ in an app called… Unilocal (surprise, surprise haha) and was not disappointed.
We ordered ice cream sandwiches, in which you can choose from a couple of flavors of ice cream and cookies. I chose to use two different cookies, white chocolate macadamia and snicker doodle, to sandwich the brownie chunk ice cream. It was amazing, I promise you.
Couldn’t pass up picking something from a huge case of truffles… and decided to try the Nirvana (dark chocolate), French Kiss (white chocolate) and a peanut butter flavored one. Very rich in chocolate, no complaints.
Surprised this place doesn’t get a lot of play or reviews on the internet, but it’s definitely a place to try.

Makes for a great gift. You can try so many different kinds of chocolates and make an assorted box. I like the different kinds.
I forget the name of the guy who helped us, but he was very nice and helpful. He joked and laughed with us as well as conversed with us which always makes a better experience.
I got a nice panoramic picture with all the assorted chocolates. They know what they are doing and I will be glad to come here for an afternoon or evening pick me up!

The brownie chunk ice cream is divine! And the guy I spoke to, who’s probably the owner, was super friendly and welcoming. He even gave me a complimentary treat which was nice of him. I’d definitely go back if I’m in the area.

After visiting Oscar’s Mexican seafood in the undiscovered country that is the suburbs between PB and La Jolla, my date and I walked up the street to try out the ice cream in this small candy shop we drove past.
What we found there was delicious ice cream. The coconut in particular was amazing with huge yummy bits of actual shredded coconut. If I had it mixed with chocolate, it would have been the ice cream equivalent of a Mounds bar. And, while the mint chocolate chip, was not as astounding, it was still a solid effort that blows away most local efforts, especially those of chains.
Summary: Highly recommended fix for ice cream junkies.

This is a little piece of chocolate heaven! This little shop has so many different truffles and desserts to get your sweet tooth going. My husband sometimes surprises me with these huge truffles from there ~ they have flavors like peanut butter, espresso and Caramel. It’s a real treat in North PB.

I love chocolate and sweets, and this is a great place for me to get my «fix». There are plenty of different flavored truffles to choose from. The customer service is always superb. Very friendly and attentive staff. My favorite is Rachel — she has usually been the one to take care of me and she is always sweet and accommodating.

I’m not particularly fond of chocolate (crazy, right?), but I love this place. I’d prefer it over a See’s any day. It’s a quaint shop that’s easy to miss as you’re walking/​driving down Turquoise St. But I absolutely LOVE mom & pop types of local businesses — if you’ve ever got a craving for chocolate, definitely hit this place up! The cute, tasty treats make great gifts (which can be boxed on-​site) and come in a variety of flavors that seem to change every so often. You definitely have to come back to try them all!
They also make their own ice cream and serve coffee drinks as well. I suggest having some milk or water on hand if you plan on eating the chocolate truffles right away — they’re decadent!

Whats a meal without dessert, right? After lunching at The French Gourmet we decided to stop by this little shoppe since it was across the street. I ordered a chocolate shake and oh my it was waaaay to sweet– which really (TRUST me) is rare for me to say since I live off of sweets.
Another thing surprising that this establishment was a «chocolate haus» was the absence of the «chocolate» aroma. Dont get me wrong, the chocolates looked really pretty– but for me, the aroma is what makes the ultimate decision whether or not I purchase something.
I purchased a 4 $ brownie that wasnt nicely packaged– give it the better of the doubt. After biting into it, it was so dry that it crumbled in my mouth, on my lips, on my blouse, on my desk and probably on my floor. I’ve spent 4 $ on a brownie at Café 976 and it was melt in your mouth– ooey gooey full of deliciousness, this definitely was not.
I don’t see a reason to come back here.
But then again, it’s just my opinion.

Me and a friend were walking back to our car after enjoying lunch at Blazin Grill (fully stuffed I might add) when I noticed a 50% off ice cream from 3 – 4. YAY! It was 3:22 on a Saturday and I immediately made my friend go with me. It was a nice cute little store with a glass counter filled with chocolate goodies. Apparently they make their ice cream in the store so it was legit.
I ordered their coffee flavored ice cream and thought it was pretty decent for only like $ 1.50. Plus she gave me a HUGE serving that I couldn’t even finish. It was not one of the best house made ice creams I have ever tasted but it wasn’t bad for its price. I will be back, but only during their ice cream happy hour.

Despite my attempts to stay away from chocolate I let my boyfriend convince me to head to Chocolate Haus earlier this week. It had been about 6:30PM, and my guy reminded me of the 4−7PM Happy Hour sign we’d noticed near the store’s front door a while back. My will power sucks, so the mention of the Happy Hour sealed the deal.
Turns out Chocolate Haus’ Happy Hour is from just 3−4PM daily; the «4» on the sign really, really looks like a «7» though. Bummer, but do you think the misleading Happy Hour advertisement stopped us from buying a few things? No way.
I picked out just a couple of many beautiful $ 18/​lb decorated chocolates – a Meyer Lemon Thyme chocolate (a tasty truffle that had a mild thyme flavor but lacked the robust lemon flavor I’d hoped for) and a Cookies N Cream chocolate (very good with yummy white chocolate and hearty chunks/​layers of chocolate cookie inside). Boyfriend asked for 2 scoops of Brownie Chunk ice cream, which was very thick and creamy but not chocolaty enough for me.
I’d return to Chocolate Haus for the chocolates – the ones I ordered, after being weighed, came to under $ 4, by the way – and very friendly service for sure. No convincing necessary!

I know chocolate. I don’t even come close to knowing a great deal about everything but I do know my chocolate!!! These are the most delicious, outrageously flavorable and gorgeous– to– look– at chocolates I have ever had the pleasure of putting into my mouth in a Oh-​my-​gosh, grateful that it exists, kind of way!!!

Best Hidden Place In San Diego. FRESH CHOCOLATES MADE ON SITE. No more boxes chocolates that sit for months on the shelf. My girl friend loved them. Family Owned which is a plus because i try to support local business especially in these times. They can even do special orders any size. Great for parties. They do all the work. They even box it or wrap it. Pete is the owner great guy who knows his chocolates and he is always creating something new. Oh and call them to pre order during the holidays
