The Coffee Bean is easy to get to and back on the road to work. The coffee is good. I prefer going here instead of Starbucks because it isn’t as crowded, easier to get in and out of there, good coffee, and service. The food is good, but horribly overpriced as most food is in a coffee shop. Just get the coffee.

My favorite coffee place. I love the fact they make every drink non-fat. I also like the fact that when I am feeling a bit chocolately, I can get a mocha that is sugar-free. They use powders not syrup. I love that. I think they taste so much better! I don’t feel guilty either. You can also get a vanilla sugar-free drink. I used to keep the powder at home which you can Purchase but it got too dangerous. I prefer keeping it as a treat! Staff is kind and you don’t wait forever. This is a pretty small store so not too much room. On a cold day, it’s hard to find a seat because people are posted up, working on their laptops or chatting with a friend. Easy to park int he Oggi’s center. Good prices and they also have small food items and pastries to choose from. They’ll heat anything up for you too.

This is a nice alternative to the crowded Starbucks down the street. This Coffee Bean is located in the same place as Oggis and Union Bank. Parking is strange on a Sunday as most customers seem to like to take two parking spaces. There’s also a small outdoor patio. Wifi is ok but it’s limited to two hours I think . Ordered their blended cookie butter for $ 4.69. It’s make quickly and friend said it tastes like snicker doodle. He says he prefers chocolate chip cookies but what does that mean. Kidding aside, blended drinks seem pricey any where you go these days. I still swear by the mocha ice blended here . Cashier was nice and friendly. A nice location to visit if you’re in the area.

I am a huge fan of coffee bean! Wish there were more locations in San Diego. I frequent this location. Today in particular, the staff was extra helpful and outgoing, especially Justin and Daniella. AMAZINGCUSTOMERSERVICE!!!

The place is cute but empty. Unfortunately there is no way he is making money there. I wish them luck.

I don’t drink much coffee but I do love their Ice Blended beverages. I usually get the Mocha flavor but they also have a good vanilla one as well. They’re very tasty and was only about $ 4.50 for a large which is roughly 24 ounces. One of their hidden gems are their mini donuts. Their old fashioned mini donuts are amazing!

Cute little place to meet up at. The tables were dirty inside and they used some pink marker to write on their drinks. So out of no where I had pink ink on my hand from the sweat of my Iced Tea. They couldn’t have used another marker that doesn’t smear and make a mess all over the table? The parking is difficult because it’s a small parking lot to accommodate a lot of businesses.

Drove there based on reviews and website. Was looking for top quality donuts. Wasted my time, my gas to go there. They have not made or sold donuts for a long time. Update your info, you wasted my time.

Since the coffee shop is located in a shopping center with lot of other choices near by(Oggies, core40, vet, etc) and I find I am in the area a lot. Walking in you find a clean, nice sized location. The customer service is friendly and service is quick(Kevin helped me last time, he was funny). I am always surprised by how empty the location is, but the lack of a line is a nice difference from most coffee shops. There is also outdoor seating. I’ve tried their Hot Vanilla, the Tea Latte, and the mocha ice blended drink and all were very good. I find the prices to be on par with other chain coffee locations.

Lots of seating inside and out. I love their ice-blended drinks(made ultimate). I notice that their prices are heading upwards and they no longer have that«buy a $ 25 gift card, get a free drink» special. This plaza can get packed at times.

I can’t even begin to express how much better the coffee here is compared to Char-bux! And Larry, the General Manager is super friendly and attentive… as are the other employees. Its always great to have a Cooffe Bean available to visit when out and about.

Who gets coffee in the afternoon? This girl! I love this place, especially this location, they’re always friendly & sweet and not sickening fake sweet either, sweet like they like coffee & their customers, cheers to this lovely little shop for making me feel like I was their best customer. Sometimes I get a healthy, nice coffee with no cream, and no sugar, not today… Today I was naughty & had a blended drink, so yummy! If you’re looking for a coffee place in this area, you should most definitely try this location of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf!

Love this location! I love all coffee places, but this one especially. They are super friendly and they make great recommendations. I only go in once per month… but I enjoy it every time.

Went to get a cappuccino this morning. It was so heavy with milk!!! Not sure why they think the more milk the better! BUT — asked the guy if I can please have it done over with less milk, like a cappuccino… He said sure. Took it, spilled some milk of my cup and gave it back to me! I asked, did you just spilled some milk out ??? He said yes!!! Who teaches them how to make a cappuccino and what is the difference between a latte and a cappuccino???

I came by for a to go drink to have coffee at work. I love the iced blended coffees! This location is in located in a little shopping center in the Carmel Valley/Del Mar Area. I would have enjoyed lounging there as they have a nice outdoor patio seating area. There is decent parking, and the staff seems friendly as the cashier said«bye“to me when I was leaving which added a good impression of their customer service which at first I thought was basic. This place has the best drinks! Starbucks can get played out since they are everywhere, as there aren’t as many Coffee Beans throughout SD so it’s a good splurge and a nice way to switch up the usual cup of Joe with lots of tea variety options.

This is my local coffee spot! The lines always seem shorter than Starbucks down the street. The service is always pleasant and the manager is always gracious. Lately I’ve been addicted to the toffee nut lattes. I actually the lattes here more than bucks… they seem more creamier and their foam is to die for! There isn’t a lot of seating inside and if so you are practically sitting next to someone else’s table which leaves no privacy. However on a warm sunny San Diego day they have a pretty large patio to enjoy! Their pastries are a good variety but they don’t do hot breakfast sandwiches. I love the mini donuts it’s just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth without overdoing it on the calories ;)

Came in this morning, I tired to check-in the last two times on my Unilocal app, somehow it never connects. So yeas, I was there this morning. This is my second visit. The first visit was about a month ago, I ordered a large peppermint mocha. This time I ordered a Large Dark Chocolate Mocha, it was really sweet, I have had this drink before, it’s never been that sweet. I perfer the Clairemont Mesa CB&TL to this one. This location seemed average, however it was early in the morning around 5:30ish am, people are not fully awake yet… I sat there in one of the chairs talking to my mom on the cell phone. The shop seems clean, the women’s bathroom was clean. I guess they listened to the Unilocalers because some of the reviews said it was apprently super dirty. Then again, the chair across me was dirty with food and wrappers? Other than that, it seemed clean. It was an average visit, was average drak chocolate mocha :(

We decided to stop off and grab a bit of caffeine for the journey ahead, as we knew there would be plenty of traffic to tackle. Two drinks were ordered, one was hot and the other was cold. I ordered the mocha latte with a couple of extra shots and 2% milk. The drink was definitely jolting with all the extra caffeine, but sadly no touch of mocha, as the barista forgot to toss in the mocha syrup. No worries, as I still enjoyed the drink just as much. The other drink was a 2% milk ice blended dark chocolate and hazelnut concoction with an extra shot of expresso for good measure. I had to try a taste of this gem and actually enjoyed it more than my own drink. I kept sneaking sips, as we headed up the highway. The General Manager, Larry, who was working the register, was very pleasant personable. Nowadays, this really goes a long way in my book, as it makes you feel welcome and wanting to return again. Thanks Coffee Bean for an enjoyable experience and we’ll see you again soon.

I think the outside patio-like seating and promise of a heat lamp had be sold the moment I walked in the door. This is your typical Coffee Bean with amaaaazing coffee, way better ice blended drinks than Starbucks, and fragrantly brewed coffee that seems to soothe your soul. The staff was super friendly and there were plenty of seating at the time I went(8pm on a Wednesday night), but that could be due to their 9pm closing time. There’s not much else going on in the plaza the store is located in, but I could see it as a quiet place to study or read(comfy arm chairs available!) during the daytime or weekends. Will definitely try to check it out again when I need to have downtime away from everything else.

I stopped in this Coffee Bean and Leaf to believe it or not, get some Unilocaling done on my laptop. I ordered their refreshing green tea and a chocolate chip twist. The iced tea was very refreshing with a mild flavor.( ) But, what I really enjoyed and caught me by surprise was the wonderfully prepared chocolate chip twist with its light dusting of powdered sugar.( ) The inside was very moist and the filled with ring of melted chocolate chips which made it extra gooey in a very good way.( ) Next time, I am getting me one of these with a hot cup of coffee. This location has a nice patio outside partially shaded by the building and the rest by some nice shade trees. The service I received was good and the employees were ready to serve.
