The Dad Pad

The illegal immigrant and the indian smell bad and think people like them so i usually just chill in the pharmacy downstairs

As a quaint new Bed and Breakfast located on the outskirts of the youthful SDSU community, this locale has left me with mixed emotions upon my departure. As I arrived to the establishment on Friday, I was greeted by the bellboy Johnathon, who quickly whisked away my possessions to one of the available bedrooms on the second floor. I was their first customer and he appeared to be a little too excited so I told him «settle down there, Champ». I walked towards the room upstairs and as I approached, I was greeted by the neighborhood Pug, Rico. The owners had retold tales of his father deserting him, and a drug addict accepting him, caring for him, and ultimately putting him up for adoption. This compelling story only added to the genuine, good-​natured atmosphere that is the Dad Pad. However, this place carried as many cons as it did pros.
First, the struggling nature of owners was seen through the lack of sheets they provided with my bed. Secondly, I had initially arrived with a woman I had been seeing for quite a few months, but one of the tenants gazed at her, then back at me, whispered «…swoop» and that was the last I saw of her on my stay.): Thirdly, there was no breakfast, whatsoever. Im pretty sure they didn’t even have a kitchen.
Overall, this place does seem to have some promise, because of the wonderful location and hard working staff, but the owner really needs to take a look at his business and strive for improvement. Not the best, not the worst, just an OKAY BnB.
