The Floral Gallery

Love this little shop! It’s rare to have local and sincere florists nowadays so I’m really glad I found this one. I go to them for every occasion I can use as an excuse for flowers; birthdays, graduations, Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, even random arrangements that fill no particular reason. And they deliver, even same-​day! They are super accommodating, from simple bouquets to large scale arrangements it’s always hard to settle on a decision! Having picture references of things they regularly make is super helpful but they’re also willing to custom make something as well. And everything is always freshly made, all the arrangements I’ve gotten have lasted long and were made beyond satisfaction. You can really tell Mia is passionate about flowers and cares about her customers. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for flowers in San Diego.

I was in a pinch because I forgot to get flowers for Valentine’s Day. It was noon at work when I saw other girls getting flowers and I started to freak.
Called and spoke with Vivian (who is absolutely AWESOME) and told her my situation and that I knew nothing about flowers. She was so polite and helpful walking me through the different options I had. And get this, she even sent a picture to me so I could see the arrangement. And get THIS, she even called me after they were delivered to confirm my fiancé got them.
This place is fantastic and Vivian’s customer service is a trait that is extremely hard to find now a days. I will defiantly use them every chance I get. So should you :)

Mia delivered a flawless victory! I was looking for a beautiful quick bouquet for my wife as a «just because» surprise. I noticed fast same day delivery, very affordable prices, convenient location, and a wide selection of arrangements all more beautiful than the last. The reaction my wife had was priceless. I also appreciated being notified as soon as the arrangement had been delivered, big plus. The only thing that would make Floral Gallery better is if it was free haha! I will continue doing business with them and recommend them to all. Thank you so much Floral Gallery!

It was my niece’s birthday and her work was literally right around the corner from two flower shops. The first one I called as soon as it opened and my call went straight to voice mail. I waited until noon, then I called again. Still no response. I decided to call The Floral Gallery.
Sherry was incredibly helpful. I told her where my niece worked and her favorite flowers. Not soon after, I received a text with a picture of pink roses and star gazer lilies! The order was quickly put together and delivered. The work was well done and my niece was very happy! I would definitely use them again.
By the way, I still have not heard from the other floral shop.

Great customer service, very knowledgable with types of flowers. Ordered orchid flowers for wedding cake and they arrived on time, and very beautiful and fresh. I’ve called around flower shops and compared prices, and the floral gallery beat them all. :-) I’m one satisfied customer, thank you!

This place is down the street from my office and I needed to quickly grab a thank you card and flowers. This place fits the bill! The don’t have a huge selection of premade bouquet but the staff is great if you let them know what you’re looking for. I was worried that the lilies would bother the person we were getting the flowers for since she’s sensitive to smell. The woman working the counter offered to take out the lilies and replace with roses, it was perfect!

WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND. My daughter goes to UCSD and we needed to get flowers to her for her birthday. She could not meet the delivery guy until after 5 P.M. When the delivery guy could not find Chanelle and returned to the shop, the OWNER took the flowers to her in the evening. THIS IS WHAT A SUCCESSFUL, CARING BUSINESSMAN WILL DO FOR HIS CUSTOMERS. Thank you SO MUCH!

I think this was representative of the practice of this business. It showed the flower arrangement I ordered vs the one my wife got. This was an excellent illustration of why I felt The Floral Gallery ripped me off. The arrangement my wife got for Valentine’s day, which by the way I specifically asked to deliver 2 days before just to avoid all the stress of too many deliveries on the same day, was a simplified version of what I ordered. It didn’t have the «…eucalyptus, curly willow, and ti leaves in a frosted red glass gathering vase». The vase was the simple transparent cylindrical type, which looked cheap. And the red ribbon was tied in a very rough bow. It seemed like a job thrown together without any care at all. I could have done much better even though I have no experience in making flower arrangements.
On the other hand, both the owner and his wife sent me their most sincere apologies for what they called an error due to overly busy times (an excuse which I don’t find acceptable), and they reimbursed me (that’s good).
So, at least they recognized their mistake. I thank them for that. However I cannot go back, the feeling of trust is gone. However, feel free to give them a chance as they sure made an good effort to get me back.

Mia did a FANTASTIC job making a funeral arrangement for us last week for my brother in law’s funeral. It was a large christian cross made out of mostly white carnations with a border of red carnations. It was the best looking arrangement at the funeral home and it was obvious that she took a lot of time to put it together. She had it delivered to El Camino Memorial Park in timely manner and the cost of the arrangement was amazingly low for what we received. I will definitely use these guys again! Thank you!

I walked in here at about 8:00 am during the week and needed a birthday bouquet right away for my friend. I gave them a price range and they made a BEAUTIFUL birthday bouquet very quickly! Will definitely go back soon. Thanks guys!

I just dropped by today to get a simple rose. The shop is very beautiful and cozy, and the arrangements are gorgeous. Even though I only bought one rose, I would definitely return if I needed a bigger arrangement. They spray white roses any color you want for free, and also provide water tubes and ribbons. The rose was 5 dollars, which is slightly on the pricier side, but it was clearly extremely fresh. Stop by for flowers!

We worked with Mia for our wedding at the Darlington House on 8÷31÷2013. Thanks to her and Floral Gallery, our wedding day was a major success. Only with a few consultations, Mia understood exactly what my wife wanted, even though she was a bit vague with her wants. The prices were extremely reasonable, so we were a bit worried of a possible drop in quality. However, on wedding day our doubts were erased completely.
Mia silently executed her work on the day of and left with an array of beautiful arrangements and flowers. The wife was extremely satisfied.
Mia is a true professional and we look forward to working with Floral gallery into the future and wish them continued success.

$ 48 for a very nice custom small blush rose arrangement with cube glass vase. Tom was super nice and informative and totally understood the situation: «guy needs flowers for girl.»

Just wonderful people and service. The lady (owner) is very skillful although one of the workers just needs a slight improvement. Two thumbs up.

I ordered online for flowers to be delivered on Mother’s Day. Paid, got the email confirmation, then… nothing. No flowers on Mother’s Day. None the next day. No communication. A complete ripoff. Avoid this place!

Very friendly service, excellent arrangements. I’ve ordered three different kinds of arrangements in the last two months and all were very nice. Price seemed a little high but that might just be what flowers go for, I haven’t shopped around much. In any case, was very happy with the products.

I rate this place with 1 star only because I ordered flowers for my wife yesterday, as it was valentines day and not only did they not arrive at the time promised, but my wife left work at 5:00pm and never received the arrangement I had purchased. They had promised she would receive her arrangement between 1−3pm and the delivery driver kept telling me «there on there way». There is no purpose for the arrangement to be delivered if the whole purpose was for my wife to be surprised at work. I had called 3 times that day to ensure everything was running on time and still got no feedback on the status of the every. With much frustration I cancelled my order as they didn’t even care to satisfy me as a customer. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FLOWER SHOP OVERALL!.. I would consider going elsewhere!!!

Today I received a call on my office phone from a florist. They told me they had a delivery for me and wanted to make sure that I was in the office. The man I spoke to was nice and confirmed my address. I appreciate the fact that they are trying to be efficient but it killed the surprise of having flowers delivered unexpectedly. If my husband knew they did that I am sure that he would be pissed.
Regardless of that snafu, the flowers arrived early enough in the day… before 1:00 and I am sure my husband ordered them this morning so I assume they have same day delivery. The arrangement was nice and full. The flowers all looked alive. I have received arrangements from other florists that look wilted and sparse. The flowers in the arrangement from The Floral Gallery were alive and well.
While they attempted to be efficient they delivered the flowers to the wrong floor which is fine I guess but the flowers come with a message that is not in an envelope. When I picked up my arrangement there were 4 people standing at the reception desk. Any of them could have been nosey and easily read the message that was sent with the flowers. Luckily my husband sent a sweet message and nothing dirty or embarrassing. If you want to include a private message make sure to ask them to put it in a sealed envelope.

My wife just got me a gift basket from these guys for my birthday. I have to say, they did an amazing job! She called them and created a custom basket with all the stuff she knows I like, including Red Bulls, Resse’s Peanut Butter Cups, Funyuns, and the requisite fresh fruit. Of course, a lot of the credit goes to my wife (she’s not for hire), but these guys executed it very well. My wife said she’ll use them again in the future, which she doesn’t throw around lightly.
I don’t know how much the basket cost, so I’m not able to fill out an accurate price range. I assume since my wife likes them, they’re inexpensive. :)
