The Kar Place

I recently was in the market for a used car.
I found a Volvo convertible at the Kar Place.
When I opened the hood something didn’t look exactly right to me. I asked Mike (the owner) if the car had ever been in a front end collision. He said no. He assured me that the car was in GREAT shape.
I ran a Carfax on the car and it showed no accidents.
I took the car to my mechanic for a pre-​purchase inspection. The first thing the mechanic told me was that the car had been in a front end accident. He also said there were so many leaks coming from the engine and trans that he couldn’t tell exactly what was leaking !
The car was pretty on top, a mess underneath.
Mike talks a good game, but don’t trust what he says.
There may be good cars on his lot, but this is definitely a place for the buyer to beware !
