Love this place! The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because of the parking situation, it can be difficult to find parking at times. Love the staff, they are always happy to answer any questions I have and everything is super clean. I’m getting laser hair removal on full legs and I already noticed a huge difference! I definitely recommend this place.

For the TRANSGENDER community — Hi, I am Christine and I am a MTF transgender female. I would highly recommend this place for transgender individuals. I have gotten my facial hair removed here and most of the hair is gone already after six sessions. The staff is incredibly nice and most of all, respectful. They will make every attempt to refer to you how you would like. This is a «Safe Place» for all LGBT.
I did shop around before coming here. I called over a dozen places and this place was the best price. They had a Groupon but they offer the same, if not cheaper price than Groupon if you call them direct. From day one, the receptionist was nice and explained the entire process to me. She let me know what a full face would cost and what the best price would be.
$ affordable.
Respectful.
Good bedside care.
Friendly

Wow. you need to check out this place.
First, I want to start with their hair removal machine.
TLC uses LIGHT SHEER DUET. It is painless. Couple years ago, I tried laser hair removal and it was so painful so I decided not to do it. but not anymore.
Then RN Jodi. She is knowledged, educated me so result can more effective, and made me feel very comfortable with whole session.
I start laser hair removal service at LASER CLINIQUE in carmel valley, but I didn’t get same result and feeling.
And receptionest, I think her name is Kathy, she cares with things that matter to me. so I had kind mixed feeling. when I read other review, the other reviewers said receptionest wasn’t nice. wonder if we had different receptionest .
and last, the price and promotion is awesome.
First, I found TLC thru groupon. I left LASER CLINIQUE because they wouldn’t match the groupon price after groupon session was over so I tried TLC.
I am really glad I did. TLC does match the groupon price aslo have a awesome monthly special price which is better than groupon price. If you searching the hair removal place, check this place.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I’ve been going to The Laser Café for laser hair removal and couldn’t be happier with the results and the service.
Emily is as sweet and knowledable as they come. She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and ensures that you are comfortable throughout the procedure — both with the pain level and the results.
The prices are very reasonable and they offer discounts/​promotions every month. The scheduling is convenient, the office is very nice, and the staff is friendly.
I have refered many friends to The Laser Café and they have been extremely happy with the results as well.

Awesome place for tattoo removal, they have a very friendly staff and great service. They were even willing to work out a great deal with me after I didn’t show up for an appointment, something I was not expecting. Would highly recommend!

This place has some good services and friendly nurses, that’s why I gave them 2 stars. The receptionist could care less about you. They don’t really pay attention to you or what service you want, the one I talked to was rude as well (and she was the owner). When you walk in, they are always talking and act like you aren’t there for an appointment/​service. Answering the phone and calling back is also difficult for them.
I’m glad I didn’t buy any packages and have to deal with refunds, I have found a more welcoming medspa nearby. I do give credit to the nurses here though, they are friendly and care about their clients! I wouldn’t go back because of how the receptionist treats her customers.

I waited to write this review due to I had to wait for the dispute with this business to be settled with my bank. I had purchased a Groupon for a laser skin resurfacing package. I had booked my appointment and was told that I would do my initial consultation the same day as my appointment right before my appointment. I am active duty military and at the last minute I was told I had to come into work to fill a position because someone had gotten into a car accident that morning. I called Laser Café to reschedule and the receptionist stated she was sorry to hear that, but she would have to take a good amount of money ($ 50 an hour and a 3 hour session = $ 150) from my Groupon for a cancellation fee (not stated on the Groupon or in the text that was sent out as an appointment reminder from the company). I asked to speak to the owner and I got a snicker and she said, «Oh, I am the owner… and the receptionist haha this is my business.» I didn’t know what to do so I tried to call my job to see if someone else could fill the position so I wouldn’t lose my money. Within 5 minutes of hanging up I got another appointment reminder text from Laser Café, but with the additional «cancellation charge» information attached to it. Which I’m sure she sent out to be funny. I contacted Groupon and they told me that she wasn’t allowed to take the Groupon until I was even consulted for the treatment because when it comes to any kind of laser treatment the company has to make sure that I am even a candidate for the treatment and the company hadn’t did that yet. I could potentially not even be qualified to receive the treatment and she already took my Groupon. Anyways, I got a FULL REFUND thanks to Navy Federal’s dispute department. This business is unprofessional, the owner was extremely rude and I would never recommend that anyone go here. There are plenty of other places in San Diego to get this procedure done or any procedure they advertise that holds professional conduct and doesn’t take money from customers. — Renee Candelario

First class all the way. I’m currently in the process of laser tattoo removal and The Laser Café has been amazing.
I did tons of research on laser tattoo removal before I even set foot in a clinic. If you’ve done your homework you know it’s impossible to know how many appointments it will take to remove a tattoo, *most* people have success in about 10 appointments, the ink used and the depth of the ink impact the outcome. We’re all hoping we’re that lucky person that only needs 6 appointments, but there’s just no guarantee. I had consults at several clinics and was taken back by the false promises offered. I had one sales person tell me my tattoo would be perfectly 100% removed in 6 – 8 sessions, she wasn’t a nurse, how the heck could she even guess? I had so many «consults» with sales people I started to think the whole laser tattoo removal world was snake oil.
Enter The Laser Café, my first consult was with a Registered Nurse who was well experienced in laser tattoo removal. She was completely up front about the process and what my expectations should be. She educated me on the science behind laser tattoo removal and how it will impact my individual results. She filled me in on the pros and the CONS. The reality is it’s a long process and the best, most complete removals happen with you space your appointments out. As someone who has a tattoo she wants removed I understand wanting it gone NOW, anyone who offers you fast results just wants your money and doesn’t care what you look like in the end. Being too aggressive with treatments can lead to scaring which is worse than a tattoo in my opinion. After my consult I was sold, I knew this was the place was the real deal, the nurses truly care about the end result for their patients.
Let’s talk about cost — With each consult I also got a cost estimate. The per treatment costs were all pretty similar. The Laser Café’s pricing was on par with the other clinics in the area. At the end of the day if the price is about the same, go with the Cadillac! This is not the time to go with the lowest bidder, go with the most qualified caring option.
Scheduling is a breeze, if I leave a voicemail my call is returned the same day. The receptionist/​scheduler is incredibly kind and helpful. She was excited to see the positive progress we’re making with my removal. After my second appointment I was pretty out of it, she was quick to offer me a glass of water and had me sit down. She’s genuinely nice and friendly AND keeps that place running like a well oiled machine.
Bottom line, if you want tattoo removal you need to educate yourself and screen who’s going to perform your treatments. Or save yourself the time, I already did all the research for you. Trust me, this is the place you want to go.

I really like this place. The nurses are pretty good and I can see good results after one session of laser removal. The only thing I can’t say anything good about is the receptionist. Every time when I’m there, she’s chatting with people who work there. Most of the time that I go she always tells me one thing regarding my purchase, and the day of my appointment, she tells me something different.
The first time, I had an appointment for full face, underarms and bikini treatment. That day, I couldn’t do the bikini because I was on my cycle and I had a lot of pain. I told her that I was not feeling well enough to do the bikini, and she told me that I was going to lose the session. I remembered when I signed the contract, I was going to just pay a rescheduling fee and not lose the session, so I reminded her about that. That was the first one.
The second time I went, she didn’t explain clearly about how I was supposed to pay the extra piece for large areas and I didn’t like it. How wasI supposed to know? She was too busy chit chatting with the staff and not paying attention to making things clear.
I have more issues with her, but every time I go, it’s always a new issue with her and I don’t feel comfortable.
Fortunately, I will finish all the sessions that I have pending and look for another place. If it wasn’t for the receptionist I would’ve given 5 stars because the laser treatments are good and the nurse knows what she is doing.

I’ve been to this place 3 times now for hair removal. The practitioners are super informative (I ask a lot of questions) and friendly. The procedures are streamline and I’m in and out. I recently met the owner and she is a sweetheart. Best of all, they always have deals and specials running. Kudos!

This is the second time I have used laser hair removal. My experience at The Laser Café has been superior. The staff are knowledge, informative, and super sweet. They are genuinely interested in you getting the best results. I am so glad I was referred to The Laser Café.

I had the erbium skin treatment. The first 5 days were rough, looks wise. It’s been about 9 days now and I am still peeling, however, most of the gross spots have faded so I am not stuck at home. I really like Emily and am going for my next one in a couple months. I’m really glad I went. Amanda is very nice as well.

Treated myself to 20 units of Botox and as usual was very pleased with my experience & results. The highly skilled & educated & friendly staff totally made my day. I love these woman!!!
I did not bruise & felt no pain. The nurse wiggles the needle a little before entering the skin which results in no bruising. They have ice packs available to ice the more sensitive areas like nose & bunny lines. At $ 9 a unit you can’t find a better experience & place.
THE LASER CAFE IS MY FAVORITE :) GO!!!

So far I have went here for 6 treatments. I am seeing results but depending on the area it can take 8 – 10 treatments.
The staff are very friendly and I have always felt comfortable.
I have recommended this place to several of my friends and I am going to continue and finish up my current treatments.
I would also definitely use this place again for a different area in the future.

So I just love the people here. Their always real friendly and helpful!!! I def drive way out of my way just to come here. Nice and clean, great people & great atmosphere.

The staff and nurses here are all so courteous and nice! They make you feel very welcome. The waiting area is also very welcoming – coffee! The appointments for laser hair removal are very quick and painless. I have to say, it has taken more treatments than I thought it would BUT, they warn you of this at your first appointment! People leaving bad reviews because they didn’t get the results they are expecting clearly did not ask the right questions or even GOOGLE laser hair removal. It is not perfect and neither are you – if you are hoping you are one of the lucky ones who only needs 6 treatments, you are going to be disappointed. This is an investment, not a quick fix. If you aren’t willing to put in time & money, keep waxing/​shaving. I can’t say that my final results are great because I’m still getting treatments but, so far so good!

Great location. Fair pricing. Quality work. But best of all, friendly knowledgeable staff who cares. This is my first experience with tattoo removal and I was bit skeptical and nervous coming in, but now I am so glad I did. I found them on Groupon and Unilocal and am very pleased that tgey lived up to the hype. Jodi and Kim are such good tattoo removal technicians. I highly recommend Laser Café to all!

Laser Café is professional, efficient, clean and friendly. I think the laser they use is one of the most comfortable and effective — I did three treatments on the front of my neck and there is substantial reduction. I am going back for more areas! All of the nurses I’ve had were extremely friendly, thorough and knew what they were doing. Scheduling appointment has never been a problem. I’ve been to a couple other laser hair removal places and from my experience, this is definitely the top.

This place was horrible. I had coupon and called them. They said for my coupon I can do 3 times medium area. But when I go in, they said they was confused about my coupon and let me do my appointment first. I said you guys say things different, so I don’t think I want to use my coupon in here anymore, so they offers to let me have two appointments for this one coupon. After the apportionment, they told me I could not redeem my coupon because I didn’t redeem online.
They should make things clear before I go in for appointment.

I recently came here to have some old acne scarring on my temples laser’d and to have my routine botox.
I was super nervous never having anything laser’d before, Jodi is super sweet and made me feel really comfortable. It didn’t hurt at all and I already see results after 1 session. My scarring is pretty deep so I’m going back for another. The botox was awesome and my forehead was numb for months :)
