Deborah Chew & Associates is a San Diego based law firm with a multinational and multicultural diverse clients from major corporations with hundreds of employees, medium and smaller size corporations and professional firms, as well as professional and high net worth individuals. Our focus is on U.S. business, Immigration and Nationality Law, with related corporate and business law matters.

We have a team of committed staff and combined experiences of over twenty-​five (25) years. Since our inception with the leadership of our principal owner, Deborah Chew, we have earned a reputation for quality representation of the legal interest of clients from around the world. We have represented a diverse group of businesses and individuals in the fields of telecommunications, bio-​technology, computer science, engineering, health care, accounting, financial, scientific and medical research and institutions and internet and dot-​com companies.

Meet the Business Owner

Deborah C.

Business Owner

Ms. CHEW is the principal owner and founder of the firm. She was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1987 and the California Bar in 1991. Ms. Chew is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Northern District of California. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelors of Law Degree (Honors) in 1987. After graduation, she joined a large local law firm in Singapore and practiced as a corporate lawyer from 1987. In 1990, Ms. Chew relocated to California to practice all aspects of employment-​based immigration law and business and corporate law. Ms. Chew is proficient in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and most Chinese dialects.

Ms. Chew is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association, the Singapore American Business Association, the Asian Business Association and the San Diego Northern County Bar Association.
