Marty has prepared and prosecuted patent applications across a broad range of technologies for corporate and academic institutions as well as for the solo inventor. Marty’s extensive experience in private practice at a boutique IP law firm together with his experience as in-​house counsel has provided him with a unique perspective perfectly suited for assisting today’s emerging and developing companies. Marty has a decade of business and IP experience. He is admitted to represent clients before the United States Patent & Trademark Office and is admitted to practice law in the State of California. Marty earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, his Master of Arts in Biochemistry from San Diego State University and holds his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
