The Santaluz Club

The best for last, I just had my wedding here and it was beyond perfect. Elizabeth is amazing! She made us feel like family and was so accommodating to anything we needed. The venue is gorgeous, the ceremony is located in front of the golf course and the reception is in a beautiful tent. The food was delicious, we chose the strawberry spinach salad and the surf n turf (filet mignon & salmon). I am so glad I had my wedding here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue for their big day.

We visited a great deal of wedding venues in San Diego and finally fell in love with the Santaluz Club at first glance! The gorgeous lawns, delicious food, stunning architecture, and the incredible draped tent took our breaths away. We knew this was the place for us to celebrate our big day! Elizabeth in the catering office is an absolute saint! Her attentiveness to our wedding and the amount of help she provided cannot even be measured. We felt like her only clients by the amount of love, help, guidance, and assistance we received. She really made us feel special during the entire planning process. Not once were we ignored, but rather it was like we became close friends. The service on the day of the wedding was exceptional. White glove service at its finest. Our beautiful wedding would never have happened without the help of Elizabeth and the rest of the event staff at the Santaluz Club. We were so lucky to have them and we would recommend the Santaluz Club to anyone looking to marry in the San Diego area!

Elegant, beautiful, high class design, great for business or pleasure. There service goes above and beyond my expectations. Not the cheapest place in town but definitely worth the visit. I will be back soon!

We have been members of the Santaluz Club since it opened. All I can say is it gets better all the time. The chef is fabulous. the club house is over the top and the spa… better than any 5 start resort. The fitness program offers something for everyone. Pilates and yoga are my favorite. The golf course is beautiful and although I am not a golfer I have only heard positive things about the course. This is one of San Diego’s best clubs and I highly recommend anyone who is interested needs to get a tour!

Delicious catered holiday party meal here to night. Very nice location and plenty of great areas to sit back and relax.

I can’t say much about the club because we came when it was already dark outside and we came for a company holiday party. The food was awesome and the service was great. Never had to ask for a refill on anything as they were very attentive and always came around to make sure we had everything we needed.
I had the sea bass with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes were AMAZING!!!
I also won a mani/​pedi and 60 min massage from the holiday party, the spa day is back at the club, so I’ll have more feedback after I redeem my prize. :)
It’s a beautiful club, but it’s far from where I live. That’s the only downside.

SantaLuz is an award-​winning, planned residential development project east of Rancho Santa Fe. The layout, which works WITH the land and emulates the «old California» look is visually stunning and very functional.
I recently attended a meeting at the SantaLuz Club Library. My group was small (just five), but the staff treated us like royalty. From the parking valets to the wait staff, everybody was friendly and thoughtful. And tipping isn’t allowed, so this really goes to show the quality of the employees at this facility.
I know that SantaLuz hosts weddings and private shindigs, but it belongs to all of the residents in the community.
This is a pretty up-​scale place, but you can feel the genuine hospitality they afford. I very much look forward to revisiting SantaLuz in the future!

Beautiful! They always have great events going on, very kid friendly! And they have an awesome pool. The majestic building is just the beginning to this amazing place. They have gorgeous indoor basket ball courts, cafes, etc. All of which, will amaze you. Here i recommend the coconut shrimp.

I can’t rave about Santaluz and the staff enough! First, what a well kept property! The golf course looked amazing, the restaurant is immaculate and wait until you try their cocktails and food. Valet is always quick and polite. I never had a chance to experience the spa, but I bet it’s to die for.
I had my wedding here and what a magical day. First class treatment! Elizabeth is exceptional. Attention to detail is their specialty. Jorge, Jorge, Jorge, he knows what service is all about!
My family and I stopped in on numerous occasions leading up to the big day. Family from the east coast, family from out of state and he made each and every one feel so special. Jorge was the talk of our wedding. It couldn’t of happened without the Santaluz staff and the coordination of Wynn Austin Events team.
I would love to move to Santaluz and become a member after the unparalleled experience.

The golf course is the best in the world and all of the surrounding homes are georgeous. I feel like I live in Tuscany Italy!
We looked at many high end homes and golf courses and nothing compares to Santaluz. I guess that’s why so many high profile people live here in Santaluz.
The club has many great events in which all our friends and us get together and party!
The fresh roast is a great casual eatery on the village green and Tim does a great job running this establishment.

Best course in San Diego!

The Santaluz Club, established in 2002, has grown to be one of the finest Private Golf Clubs in San Diego. 18 holes behind private gates set against Black Mountain with views to Del Mar. The golf course is a Rees Jones designed, maintaining the natural topography of the land to capture the panoramic views. Challenging, yet enjoyable. The staff are all warm and welcoming to members and guests alike. There are 3 eateries adjacent to the course in the Clubhouse which has a private day spa. There is the Men’s Grill, set inside the men’s locker room, complete with full bar and pool table, with several flat screen tvs to enjoy whatever sporting event is on. There is an outdoor patio with a co-​ed area, referred to as the ‘Grotto’. Upstairs in the Spa, there is the Ladies Lounge set inside the Ladies locker room, which enjoys a special menu. Both areas are meant to be enjoyed as comfortably as you’d like, even in a robe! After the golf play or the Spa treatments, the formal dining room is the perfect place to end the evening. There are often events going on in the bar area, such as live music, as well as in the main dining area. While parents are enjoying their time away, the kids can be at the recreation club house called the Hacienda for ‘Pizza & Movie’ nite! The Hacienda is home to the Pool, fitness and Tennis facilities. Fresh Roast is the connected eatery which serves breakfast and lunch offers dining inside, outside, or poolside! Regular fitness classes are held in the Regulation size Basketball Gymnasium, as well as Spin and Pilates in the newly designed Studio. The Santaluz Club has put together a program of events and activities to appeal to all.
