Richard & Armando just installed some sliding doors to make a conference room in our office. The guys were great — total pros. They got everything setup perfectly and looking good in no time! Thanks again!

I had these doors installed for seven different openings in my home, which was quite an investment. I’ve enjoyed them greatly for years, though I recently had some issues with a couple of cracked track guides/​wheels as well as the gas within the panes leaking onto the inside at the borders of the doors, giving the appearance of the frosted look etching away (apparently this is a problem with the sealing tape rather than the gaskets). After a lengthy setup time to have a service person come by the house, I was very impressed with Justin who addressed all of the issues and left me with a bottle of glass cleaner to address the symptom of the slow-​leak gasket/​tape problem. He was very friendly, professional, efficient, and helpful in resolving all of the doors’ issues. Overall I like the product and greatly appreciate Justin’s help.

This rating is for Justin, the field tech that came to our home today to fix a noise that our sliding doors were making. We had them installed in our guest room in August of 2014, and after a visit last month from some dear friends, the one side started making a loud noise when we opened it. (Tip: since these are high end products with automatic closures, we would suggest giving a short clinic to anyone that might be visiting and using them, as they can’t just be slammed shut) Justin was wonderful and even though the main problem was with the right side of the closet, he also said the other side was not sliding smoothly. He spent the extra time to take off both doors, put new wheels on both, and re-​align them them so they now work perfectly. We appreciated how he paid attention to detail and didn’t just rush through the job in 10 minutes. The appointment lasted for an hour.
As far as the company goes: we have been happy with their service. We origonally ordered frosted glass doors but the vapor from the frames disinigrated the frosting near the sides. After two unsuccessful trys to fix them, the company just ordered new plain glass doors for us.
There is a three year warrenty for parts and they waived the $ 125 service call, which we greatly appreciated. We would recommend this company, just be aware that you have to be gentle when using the product.

I had previously spec’d out The Sliding Door Co. for many of the closets that I was planning to renovate early this year. The product is AMAZING, great quality and design versatility. The Sliding Door Co. is a One Stop Shop-​Turnkey solution, the process was so smooth and easy. If I ever need another door I know where to go in San Diego.

I stand by me review. I did find another local company in San Diego to install a nice sliding door for me. They did it within a week. Sliding Door company did nothing to try and get the order thru. They just didn’t care about their customer. Plain and simple. Stay away if at all possible.

We had our doors installed last fall, so I waited a few months to see how the doors would function over time.
The custom installation was wonderful. We have non-​standard closets in an older home, and the time and care that Sliding Door Co took to measure and ensure a proper fit paid off. Also, the soft-​close feature, as promised, has become easier as we have used the doors. The tracks are also a great feature — the doors stay where they are intended to be and don’t jam or rub against one another.
We worked with Kym when we ordered. She was very helpful, providing ideas and suggestions, and helping us to visualize how the finished product would look. She didn’t pressure us to decide quickly, and she spent a great deal of time with us exploring options and choices as we made our selection.
Overall, a very satisfying experience.

Rarely have I experienced the level of professionalism that I enjoyed while doing business with The Sliding Door Company. I am particularly sensitive to the level of service and quality that you can expect when dealing with custom home furnishings. The Sliding Door Company exceed my expectations, which is no easy feat.

The entire experience was excellent starting with TSDC’s showroom consultant HALEY who was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and overall wonderful to work with, in terms of guiding us on the best product that would work in our closet space and what I would love. She followed up throughout the process, even a follow-​up email after the installation. The products are very high quality and everything was done RIGHT. LOVE our new sliding doors in our baby’s nursury!!! They really give the room a fun and modern look! They turned out exactly as I had hoped. We ordered large custom doors from this company, and they were installed today. They look fantastic! Haley was so helpful through the entire process and was a delight to work with. She’s very easy to talk with, and she went over all of our options and gave great input that helped us make some harder decisions as well.
I seriously can’t get over how good the doors look. They are 3 large frosted glass doors. It basically closed off a 3 walled room, while letting the room’s window light through the glass doors to brighten up the hallway. I highly recommend this company!

We just had our sliding doors installed (6÷4÷2014). The process went well, from the initial order, to the measuring, to the installation. Haley was knowledgeable, informative and patient in helping us choose which materials would be best for our bedroom. The doors were completed and delivered on schedule. They were worth the wait. The install team did a great job. The doors looked and slid ever so smoothly just like the showroom floor models. I would use them again in a second.

I have the the Sliding Door Company frosted glass doors installed in my loft to separate the bedroom from the living area… I absolutely LOVE them! They are so stylish and give me the option of closing the bedroom off for privacy or leaving it open.
I am so happy with their product there is nothing better out there! Everyone that comes over simply raves about the doors.

We needed custom doors for 2 different locations in our house. We had a great experience with the Sliding door company. Not only do the doors look amazing, but installation was smooth. I even had to change my installation time, at the last minute due to a sick baby and they were able to come late in the day. They stayed late to get them installed.
My only complaint as others have said, is it takes a long time (12 weeks) to get the doors once you order them. The did tell me this when I purchased them, so no surprises and the time went fast. It is now hard to imagine my space without them.

We needed a custom door for my office. We visited the San Diego showroom and worked with Haley, who was really helpful in providing options for our situation. The installation was smooth and professional.
Only complaint is the time between order and installation (12 weeks), but they had properly warned me about this ahead of time.
The door looks amazing and this is the reason behind my rating.

Love my daughter’s new closet doors!
My daughter’s closet s really small and she could never reach the middle area because the sliding doors were too big so we went to the Sliding Door Company for custom doors. Haley Shabankar was fabulous to work with! She helped us figure out what would be the most efficient door for the space and what would look super cool for my daughter.
The process was extremely smooth and my daughter is thrilled with her closet now. It was painless for me. The installers were great too. Nice & clean & very conscientious about their work area — and on time — Bonus!!!
I would absolutely recommend The Sliding Door Company and will use them again myself one day.

I called ahead of time and gave them measurements which would have easily allowed Haley to have given me a quote and saved me a trip, but their «policy» is to not quote over the phone. Once I got there it was less than five minutes before she was able to give me the quote (outrageously priced) that would’ve saved me a waste of a trip. I understand sales techniques but come on.
