Tower talent west is a great agency, my daughter has been attending this agency for 4 months and we’ve learned so much. We are especially humbled to work with such a great group of people. They truly care for the clients and groom them to be a success, We recently attended IMTA 2016 in LA and my daughter and I had a blast we got to meet with some of the best agents, managers and directors in the industry and my daughter got the chance to show her talent to most of them; she also received callbacks and will be working very soon. Words can’t explain my gratitude for tower talent, Jenn, Megan, and the whole staff keep doing what you do to make dreams come true sincerely Shavon &Faith

Do not waste your time going here. They tell you that you are coming to an audition but in reality it is just a sales pitch to get you to sign up for their very expensive classes. You can get way better classes elsewhere. It’s a scam.

My 7 year old daughter is currently taking acting and modeling classes with Tower Talent. So far everything has been great! All of the staff are very knowledgable, professional, and very eager and willing to help. We have not been with Tower Talent for very long, but if things keep going this well for my daughter, I’m very confident that she can grow and become a working actress or model. Thank you Tower Talent for starting my daughter on her path to entertainment success!

My son just started going to Tower Talent and so far I am highly impressed on the professionalism in which the staff conduct themselves. They are very knowledgeable and always wear a smile. Cant wait to see my son excel an experience amazing new things.

Over the past 2 years, my sons and I explored other options, but we always come back to JRP. We really feel that we have gotten value for the money we have invested in the classes and photographs with FACES, while gaining important knowledge of the entertainment business! My daughter has been breaking into the «business» for almost 3 years. We have taken song and dance classes, acting, theatre, etc… but not until we were introduced to JRP and their host of professional casting director’s, agents, managers and working professionals have our present goals been met. Through an introduction and audition at JRP, we now have an agent who is really representing us in LA and are on our way!

Fist, if there was a negative, I would say, I wish it was in a more updated building, but it doesn’t bother me that much.
On that note…
I take both of my kids here, we just started a few months ago. I have been skeptical from day one because of everything you hear now, but everyone here made me feel comfortable.
I thought once they had all of my personal information that I would be getting harnessed for money etc, but in fact the complete opposite…
No one forces you to do anything or go into a certain speed if you don’t want it. Everyone thus far has been extremely nice and helpful answering my 100 questions every time I come in, call, or email.

This more a school for acting and modeling. They are not a talent agent. If you go into this knowing that you will not be confused. My son has been taking lessons for a month & he loves it. There is obviously money upfront for the classes. You do have an opportunity to audition for Talent Agencies & my son did get a call back & we are meeting w/​her next week.
The facilities aren’t the best & it looks a little run down. would have liked it to look a little more updated… hence 4 stars.

I love JRP! Words can’t even describe it. Many see it as an opportunity to be a big star, which is great and JRP is more than capable of doing so, but JRP prepares you for life. With the confidence classes, acting seminars and runway I have been able to shape myself in a confident young women. I can’t express how successful I’ve been in job interviews and clubs/​associations. JRP is amazing in acting, modeling, singing, and dancing; I have had the opportunity to model for Macys, Pac Sun, Shimmer, Charlotte Russe, and Sun Diego through them. I was awarded Top 10 Commercial at the International Presentation of Performers for a Juicy Couture commercial that I presented to hundreds of agents, casting directors and managers. I am set for life because of the wonders that they have provided me!

I’m currently attending JRP and all I can say is WOW! The people, teachers, environment… all phenomenal! Jim & Rin (my current teachers) are both amazing! Everyone there is great so far, but I haven’t had much experience with anyone else, besides Megan, she’s a gem. I can’t wait to see what JRP has to offer me & my future.

Our first exposure to JRP was at a local street fair and I chatted with them out of curiosity. They followed up right away and we went to the open call audition. The staff was very friendly but I confess that I found the actual venue/​facility to be unimpressive. I understand that location is everything but not what you would expect for a household name. My eldest daughter made the callback (the other one was and is still too young) and I immediately felt comfortable with our scout Megan Tower. We were a little leery at first considering the cost of tuition for even the intro workshop and a number of our friends urged us to be cautious. Megan was very upfront with me when I voiced my concerns over JRP’s general online reputation, and that gave me the comfort I needed to sign my daughter up for her first acting class.
Here’s the thing: everything is up to your child. If your child has the right look, personality, and attitude then most likely things will go well. The training helps prepare them for the audition process but basically a cooperative, patient, and laidback personality (got to be flexible!) is crucial. The best thing I find about JRP San Diego is that Megan and her staff bring in some of the best youth talent agents in Southern California, and once your child is enrolled, there are auditions with those agents almost every two weeks. We showed up to just about every audition and after a few months, we were getting on callback lists and have gone to two major Los Angeles talent agencies for meetings. JRP’s staff will also help prepare you for these callbacks.
We got our photos done with FACES and Jenn Lewis is amazing and very easy to work with. We also got a lot of support with generating marketing materials, which are essential. We now have resumes, work permits, modeling portfolios, headshots, a monologue, and a handful of commercials ready. FACES also submits your materials and they helped us sign with a SoCal modeling agency, which in turn gave my daughter her first booking on a commercial!
I’m glad we took this leap of faith — we are looking forward to experiencing children’s runway to complement the two acting workshops we’ve taken. As the parent, my motto is: «As long as it’s FUN for her, we’ll keep going on». Be realistic and be laidback — no Toddlers and Tiaras or Honey Boo Boo attitude!

I was first introduced to this phenomenal talent academy when my cousin urged me to audition. I did theatre all four years back in high school, and took ballet and hip hop classes growing up. However as a college freshman, I still wanted to continue the education and training within the spectrum of the arts. And being the studious, hard-​working individual I am, I prioritize my education and am relieved to know that JRP is flexible with schedules and also acknowledges educational priorities.
I am currently enrolled in Devin Hennessy’s TV & Film Acting class on Saturday afternoons. So far, two sessions have occurred, but it feels like I have learned so much. I have learned about basic rules for screen test auditions, confidence building, and adapting character. The wonderful aspect of this knowledge is that I can apply my lessons towards my journey as an actor and growing individual in my personal life! I haven’t been at JRP for a month, but already I am experiencing a positive kind of change. It has been great, and now I look forward to Saturdays for class.
Just as Dustin Hoffman once believed, no one can ever fail acting. Applying this token of knowledge, I am determined to make the most of every moment spent at JRP. It is a wonderful place, everyone is kind and welcoming, and you are most definitely guaranteed top-​notch, professional treatment here.

My wife is 26 years young and she wanted to get into the acting and modeling business but didn’t know how or where to start. Since I use to be a child actor (when I was younger, duh) I found JRP as a one stop shop. JRP is helping her build so much confidence and ignite a passion in her. She comes home very excited from these classes and wishes these classes were everyday. Megan and her staff are very sincere and really do wish their clients success. I am excited to see where JRP San Diego will take my wife in 1 year. I HIGHLY recommend this company!
Yes, you will find reviews that JRP is a scam or what not, but those are the same people who expect to eat a magic pill to make them sexy and skinny. You HAVE to do work, put in your time, gain experience one small step at a time, network, get good at your talent, etc. JRP doesn’t promise you to be famous, but they give you all the tools you need to be successful. Megan and her team are AMAZING! You can hear it in their voices that they truly care and are extremely supportive!
