I called 2 weeks ago (11 Mar) and a lady told me that Arturo would come and see me on the the 18^th at 1.30P. When the time came, no one showed up or called. So I called and Mr. Arturo himself answered the phone. apologetic that he could not make it but would see me on the 24^th at 1.00P … It is just now, 1.30P, called and he answered the phone. When I ask him if he was still coming, he acted astounded. «Oh, it has been such a short week; I am so sorry .» blah blah blah. I told him that he could have called at least and that I find him unprofessional. I am so angry..

I was so lucky to find this company and would put them at the top of my list for referring people for upholstery.
I needed to have a complicated chair pillow redone within a few days for a very special party at my home. I called and spoke with Arutolo, who happened, to be the owner. I explain what was needed and timeframe. He advised me it was not a problem and gave me an estimate (which I was very pleased with) and advised me to come right in. I dropped off my pillow Tuesday late afternoon and got a called back the next afternoon. I picked it up and it pillow looks perfect!

I called on a Friday afternoon, needing help with a couch and we had somebody in our apartment later that day! We were able to get everything fixed up and had the couch back into the apartment Sunday afternoon. The turnaround time and kindness they showed me were amazing. A+

I called to get an estimate on having a sectional reupholstered and after sending pictures and dimensions Auturo explained to me why it would not be worth having done. He explained pricing and fabric selection as well as why the quality of my sectional would not be worth the time and money to have redone. Auturo spent a great deal of time explaining to me what to look for the next time I buy a sofa. He was super helpful and seems really passionate about his work.
I would recommend V Squared even though I have not had anything fixed by them on the premises that Auturo seems like a genuine, honest, hardworking man who loves his business. He answered my call and spent time explaining to me while he was on vacation in Maui; now that’s dedication to your business.

I found V Squared through Unilocal and chose them after comparing knowledge and price to other upholsterers. Arturo did an outstanding job reupholstering my 1920’s dining room chairs. He helped me find a fabric very similar to original and was knowledgeable about the antique construction materials and methods to keep them authentic. Arturo was finished in time and I can’t stop admiring his work.

Arturo did a great job replacing cushions on my couch. Dropped them off in the am and picked them up in the afternoon. I will certainly refer more customers his way. Thanks again!

This place is great. I can not say enough about this business. They simply do great work. A couch of mine was damaged during a move by Bay Park Moving company, never use them if you are reading this. It needed to get the back material replaced. I called V Squared, and they were very professional, and even though they couldn’t get me in quickly, they held to the date they gave me. I dropped off my couch, and about 2 hours later if was fixed! And, very well done. I“m very satisfied with the quality of their work and how they treat their customers. If you need furniture re-​upholstered, I highly recommend these guys!

Just picked up our chair from Arturo and we could not be happier.
We bought a beautiful mid century modern wood recliner with a leather chair pad, but the leather was at least 60 years old and was cracking in places. I knew that getting it reupholstered would be expensive, but my husband loved the style of the chair so much that we decided it was worth the cost.
I called Arturo on a Monday afternoon. He let me text him some pictures of the chair instead of bringing it in and he text me back the same night with a quote. He gave us a very reasonable quote (I also received quotes from the other top reviewed places on Unilocal and his was the best by a few hundred dollars). When I went to drop of the cushions and armrests he offered to use a beautiful high quality leather cowhide that he had in stock to save money on the leather. It turned out gorgeous. All said and done it was a three week turnaround.
Honestly, don’t waste your time with the other guys. Great customer service. Stuck with the quoted price even though the chair was a little more work than he planned and he had the chair finished exactly when he said he would. We will be back.

Aside from marrying my husband, I think going to this place was the best decision I’ve ever made.
I bought a beautiful contemporary couch 5 years ago, and while the leather and frame are still in good shape, the cushions just couldn’t hold up to the terror of a toddler. They became lumpy, uncomfortable, and I could feel the springs through the foam. So, rather than buy a completely new couch and waste a perfectly good frame, I decided to look into options for replacing the cushions.
The owner, Arturo, was knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell he is an honest, hardworking business owner, and he gave me a fair price. He got the dimensions for each cushion and put in a custom foam order– I received them in about a week. I got high quality foam and replaced the entire sectional for about $ 300. It was well worth it– 4 months later, it still feels brand new!
My butt has never been happier (literally). It’s seriously a gift that keeps on giving.

We came in for new couch cushion foam. Arturo gave us a great deal and turn around was same day. I spent about half the amount that other shops quoted. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for upholstery service and I’d give 6 stars if I could.

I have two wing back chairs that I wanted slipcovers made for. The existing fabric is in good shape so I wanted slipcovers for a change of color. Thought it was a good choice in case I ever want to go back to the original color. Arturo was fabulous. Listened to my request for tailored looking, tight fitting covers rather than a loose, casual look. Arturo and his team were very patient while it took me forever to decide on fabric! The covers were done on time and perfect. Beautiful, detailed work. Exactly what I asked for. One of those rare businesses that take pride in their work and customer service. AAAA+++!!!

When no one else wanted to fix my small burn on my couch cushion, Arturo and Victor took care of me. Just a small job, but I would use them again for any large job I had. Great customer service.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the work Arturo and his staff did. I presented them with a difficult job (upholstering a custom made chair) and they exceeded my expectations with outstanding work at a very reasonable price. Their skilled work is that of a true ‘craftsman’. I am thankful for their service and would be glad to return in the future.

Guaranteed Upholstery took the bare frame of that old oak chair I brought in and transformed into a thing of beauty — beyond my expectations. And the job was done 2 weeks early! They had enough fabric choices on hand, interesting finishing materials and came through with fine craftsmanship. I’m very pleased with the job and would recommend them to anyone.

Aurturo and team were amazing, I thought I gave them an impossible task and in these times of great disappointment, he did everything he promised and more at the price quoted. I own two vacation rental condos on the bay in Mission Beach and needed the job done between guests and it a very short turn around with good communication and more importantly a GREAT job. So glad I used hard working people instead of tossing a good piece of furniture away for an easy cheap common non USA built replacement. BRAVO ARTURO AND TEAM!
