Previously the practice of the wonderful Dr. Stephen Tuttle, Dr. Jennifer Santoro currently owns this gem of a dental practice.

Business Owner

Dr. Santoro grew up in Los Angeles and went to the University of California, San Diego for her undergraduate education. She went to dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. She worked in Valencia, Marina Del Rey, Encinitas and Coronado. She currently owns a dental practice in Scripps Ranch. She purchased her practice from the esteemed Dr. Stephen Tuttle, where she upholds his tradition of treating her team and patients just like family. She has a very gentle touch and provides an array of dental services including general and family dentistry, orthodontics, pediatrics and cosmetics. She looks forward to welcoming you into her dental family!

I highly recommend Dr. Santoro and her team (Lynne is my hygienist). She’s a conservative dentist, who you can trust, won’t make you do unnecessary work, and will make your visit as pleasant as a dental visit can be.
Additionally I’ve brought my toddler to see her a few times and she is amazing with her as well! Her rapport with my daughter was great-​as she kept her calm, made the visit fun, and addressed all my questions /​concerns. I’m so happy to have found a wonderful dentist for my whole family!

It’s always a challenge to start with a new dentist. The transition from Dr. Tuttle to Dr. Santoro seems to have been seamless and the office staff rave about Dr. Santoro. My experience with her was very positive and I very much appreciated she didn’t try to sell me anything and took care of my issues carefully and easily. The staff is very competent and welcoming. Lynn has been my hygienist for years and does a top notch job. I always look forward to professional service, extra clean teeth and delightful conversation. I highly recommend the Village Center Dentistry.

I’m one of those people who actually looks forward to visiting the dentist! The staff is friendly, Dr. Santoro explains things clearly, and my hygienist Lynn always has a smile on her face and asks how I’ve been doing since my last visit – and even asks if I’ve read any good books lately. I have a friend who hasn’t been to see a dentist in years, and every time I get my teeth cleaned, I tell my friend that having a skilled dentist and hygienist makes all the difference.

Let’s face it… most of us probably spend more time with the hygienist than the dentist at a typical dental appointment. And, in this practice, you could not be in better hands than hygienist Lynn O’Byrne. She is absolutely wonderful! She is kind, funny, professional and extremely skilled. Highest recommendation!

This is a terrific dental office, especially for nervous patients like me. Everyone is caring and friendly and makes me feel at home. Lynn has been my hygienist for a number of years. She can make even tricky things like X-​rays bearable. She has a great sense of humor, and she is very skilled so that even heavy duty cleaning (that my teeth seem to need) is not unpleasant. She has inspired me to take better care of my teeth leading to easier cleanings and improved dental health.
I just recently met Dr. Santoro, and I was impressed with her skill and knowledge. She gave me a thorough examination and excellent suggestions for home care. I highly recommend Village Center Dentistry.

My husband and I absolutely adore hygienist: Lynn O’Byrne at Village Center Dentistry. She has managed our teeth so beautifully that we have never even had to see the actual Dentist! True fact. Lynn has a gentle touch, keeps us informed about our dental hygiene in an assertive yet positive way, always knows what we are mumbling at her (ha!), and just keeps our teeth clean! We (and our teeth) love it here!

She is just one of the Best!
I have a pretty substantial, well dislike, phobia, hate drills, pretty much all things dentist etc. and will avoid the dentist at all costs to my own peril but she just makes the experience… Well Pleasant.
She is extremely knowledgeable and explains exactly why she is doing what she is doing and the results are amazing. Fixed a pain point I had for about 2 years that another dentist did not handle as well to begin with which is why it took me 2 years to get it fixed.
Pain free now and just very happy to have found a dentist I can trust; who is also extremely passionate about helping people. She understands that sometimes that chair can be a little nerve wracking and will make a serious effort to try and make you as comfortable as possible while you are in it.

Dr Santoro is great! I recently moved back to SD and I was having a hard time finding a dentist that I liked. Therefore, I hadn’t gone in 2 years and felt nervous about making an appointment. I was looking for a place that felt comfortable, affordable, and competent. I’m really glad I found this office. It had a really comfortable homey feel and the staff was very friendly and non judgmental of my dental health. Dr. Santoro is a nice blend of relaxed and competent, knowing the latest cutting-​edge stuff about dentistry without pushing anything. She is the first one that explained to me where my calcium deposits come from on my front two teeth. I met with her right before my wedding and she helped me get fitted for bleaching trays which helped my teeth look fantastic for pictures on the big day! I highly recommend her. She is great if you are looking for a comfortable and competent practice.

I had a lifetime of poor dentistry and bad advice. Dr. Santoro worked with me to first have a healthy mouth and then do the cosmetic work. I never imagined my teeth would look this beautiful. She is a very kind person and a true artist. She was my dentist when she was in Coronado and I have followed her to Scripps Ranch, even though it is a hike. I would not go to anyone else.

So I am fairly new to San Diego and just picked a dentist last minute but I must say I’m extremely pleased with how lucky I got with Dr Santoro. The absolute best visit I’ve ever had to see a dentist. I had a check up and a teeth cleaning and I’m feeling happy after leaving with no cavities and a clean mouth. Well I don’t normally write reviews, but Dr. Santoro was so great I had to write one. She was efficient and asked me all the right questions. I usually get pretty nervous when I go to the dentist, but she made me feel really comfortable. I highly recommend her and would definitely go back.
