Walmart

This is the only wal mart I know that sucks loll. There always out of things. And the food section sucks too. They don’t carry ham meat or ground meat. And it’s always so dam packed I will only come here if I have no choice loll the only good thing I like is there garden section

Not too much to say here. It’s Wal-​Mart, seems to be an okay area and there are a lot of other shops and stores nearby. The one employee I asked a question on where something was, she was helpful. I was happy to see that when I went to checkout I didn’t have to wait in a long line. For a busy store I was in and out fairly quickly. ( Unilocal LA Challenge #17 of 100)

This Walmart is a smaller one — not a superstore so you might not find the selection you would at the larger ones. I don’t mind it — in fact, I prefer this one over the one down the street in National City. I made the mistake of going to the National City store on payday Friday where cash is king.
The store is clean and has a decent variety of items. I want to know why my Revlon hair color is sold out at all Walmarts? Does that mean millions of asian and latino ladies are walking around with my hair color in Chula Vista?
I was spoiled by the awesome Walmarts I had in Phoenix metro. I guess I’ll have to keep hunting until I find one. I guess it won’t be in the low-​rent districts of town.

Today I went to Wal-​Mart to buy four items. One of the items I purchased I couldn’t find so I asked a sales associate for help. I asked her, «Do you know where I can find vinegar?» She kindly replied in Spanish and said she spoke little English and doesn’t understand what I am saying. Since she was no help, I walked like a lost child walking at each asile looking for vinegar.

I am more of a target person but was in the area. Their prices are very low. The people that come here seem like they are from all over the place. Lots of non-​English speaking people but I’m not against that. As long as you have patience… You can make it through the store and checkout with no issues

I am always at this Wal-​mart since its closest to my home. But last night was one of the worst experiences of all. Employees and managers are SO rude! They literally kicked me out telling me t go to another store since I couldn’t find what i was looking for. Granted, they don’t usually have much since they’re a smaller store but to cop an attitude and be rude and sent me to «another» store after I called to ask if they had this product and they said yes?!! Ridiculous! They lost a customer for sure!

The customer service at this Walmart is excellent! Also, if you are ever buying a cell phone buy the protection plan through Walmart. If anything happens to your phone Walmart reimburses you or they fix it for you. It covers water damage, cracked screens, just about everything except being stolen.

my goodness I hate Walmart. this location is lucky it’s on my way out of Imperial Beach, where I live, otherwise I would never step foot inside. I am a loyal target shopper for good reason and this experience reminded me why.
I ran here really quickly on a Saturday for a birthday card and the gift card for a party I was attending. The selection of gift cards at the registers was very limited but I was able to find a $ 25 visa gift card, the only one for that amount. I went to the very last register where the bottles of liquor are to pay for both the gift card and the birthday card. I thought it was odd that the cashier asked me to pay for the visa gift card and the birthday card separately. she claimed the visa wouldn’t work unless I did. well apparently that didn’t work either because she told me something was wrong with the gift card and if I could pick out another one. as I mentioned before this was the only one for that amount. I then asked her where they had their gift card Center like most stores do and she directed me to electronics.
I went to electronics, picked out an entirely different gift card, and paid in electronics. it wasn’t until the following Monday I checked my account to realize I was charged for both the visa gift card initially and the gift card I left with.
when I first saw the charge I thought well maybe she was new, she didn’t know what she was doing, but in retrospect I think that Walmart hires thieves. this girl rang up the visa and probably kept it for herself.
I called Monday morning and spoke to a manager she took all my information the time I was there the register I was at everything and said she would call me back in about 10 minutes. it wasn’t until the end of my workday I realized she never called me back so I called again to follow up.
I was transferred to Laura, a manager or assistant manager I’m not sure. she was less than helpful if I’m putting it nicely. if I am able to give you the last four numbers of my card the exact time I was there because I have the receipt for the other purchase and what register I was at, why would I need to come in and show you my bank statement? you can watch the cameras and see me go from that register to electronics and then pay in electronics I’m sure if you’re looking at cameras as well you’ll notice your employee keep the visa.
I work 11 or more hours a day and then take my daughter to cheer practice into the evening, I do not have time to stop at Walmart at any point in the day nor do I want to. especially when none of this is my mistake. I did you the courtesy of calling, not once, but twice before disputing the charge with my credit card company, the least you can do is look into this without making me go down there. that’s what customer service is.
as a sidenote to the manager Laura– if you hate your job that much maybe you should do something else because customer service is definitely not your thing. not so much because you couldn’t help me any other way but just the unapologetic attitude received through the phone was ridiculous but that’s the quality of employees Walmart hires, obviously. you pay for quality that’s why I go to target. I will be going out of my way from now on.

Worst walmart ever. Bad customer service, full of rude people. I even got my phone stolen here. I would’ve given this review no stars. I recommend to take your shopping somewhere else.

The stupid printer ran out of paper and the register person was worthless, (send me the frikin receipt via email.) Cashier asked for the manager and was nowhere to be found. When she finally showed up, she printed my receipt in seconds. Train your cashiers better. Wasted 40 minutes there.

Worst Walmart ever horrible costumer service it’s close to my house but I prefer to drive further to another location. Twice I asked for directions to find an item and the employees just point with out giving me any real direction… Also the photo center people such they were super rude. I did talk to the customer service manager and he didn’t really solve my problem just said he would talk to the staff

This Walmart is so convenient to go to. This is a small Walmart but they have most of the basic items you need. The customer service is great. I brought my daughter to get her ears pierced for less than $ 30 and they pierced both ears at the same time. The ladies who did it were patient. They were also very nice. I enjoy coming here.

Omg customer service here is horrible. I’m still standing around waiting for a manger. I been waiting for over fifteen minutes at the register for a manager … Still no help ‚. The cashier finally said I will go to the office … Don’t know what the holdup is I mean really this is absolutely ridiculous

Been here a few times. This place is small compared to other Walmarts I’ve been to. Not too much to choose from. This location is more of an express Walmart.
There is plenty of parking in front of the store. Somehow this place always gets packed. It’s right off the freeway going 5 south off of Palm Ave. I think it attracts people since it’s the only one closest to the border.
I only come here if I need something to pick up. I would rather go to the Walmart in Eastlake.
More selection at the bigger Walmarts.

Well folks, I’m kind of torn on this one. I am quite happy, on one hand, that we have a Walmart in our neighborhood now, and that’s probably worth 3 stars alone. It beats fighting half of Tijuana at the Palomar store for a parking spot and the last bag of chips, I suppose. However, there are some real drawbacks here. First, the staffing model here needs some serious work; who in the hell is the manager and district manager for this abomination of a retail outlet? During peak times, it is literally check yourself our or wait for the borderline suicidal girl with the eyepatch and wooden leg at the ONE open register, processing, oh, about ONE freaking customer per hour. And I kid you not, non peak times? Four open registers and a three-​piece marimba band. C’MON, man! Selection is not great here; it’s just too small for a super WMart concept, but still OK. You just can’t beat the prices, and you’re just forced to come here. Hey managers– Let’s hire some people here!

It’s a newer Walmart… So while it still is Walmart and some people won’t shop here, it’s a nicer location. I have found Sports Equipment here cheaper than even Amazon!

HOLY SHIT! I am excited as hell to write this review. I abso-​fucking-​lutely hate this Walmart. First of it is packed from the minute it opens to the minute it closes. And damn if i have to be asked if i want COX one more time i’m going to flip a tit. By the way COX SUCKS BIG COX. The store is a mess constantly because all the damn people are so rude and do not care about shit except themselves. They don’t even sell meat in this damn store, what the hell is up with that, and yeah i don’t want that tube of hamburger meat, i want the real shit. And once i do make it through their checkouts of only one fricken open lane, i get bombarded by some lady that wants to clean my windows or some lying Christian lady who says she has no money for her kids yet she has a fresh manicure, get outta here.

One of the biggest complaints regarding this Wal-​Mart store is its small size. Keep in mind that this lot was already there and Wal-​Mart just purchased it. It’s small but it has the Walmart essentials. Imagine if Walmart was twice this size in this one way out lot? It would be catastrophic!
This place has groceries, a nice variety of clothes, electronics and a good management team to handle the store. I am confident this store will survive.
Though I don’t agree with Wal-Mart’s employee practices, It feels nice to have an actual general store in Nestor.

It was a wonderful day to go to the beach. As it was a spontaneous trip to the beach, we needed to pick up some beach towels.
We made a quick pit stop into this Walmart and picked up some beach towels. They were cheap and just fine for our trip.

It is Wal Mart so I don’t know why people expect anything more than what it is supposed to be.
