Happy Hair again after visiting Todd Bradley at WalterToo Salon on Park Blvd. Todd is back doing his magic.

When on the job, a customer asked me if I color my hair, or if if my hair is my natural color. That sums it up for me. I adore this salon. My hairdresser is Walter.

I google searched for a Wella Salon and found Walter Todd. Unilocal reviews were great! Todd and Walter are professional & friendly. The salon is clean with lots of great open light & lovely. Todd did my hair; bleach and tone and a haircut for my short hair. I’m sooooo happy I’ve found my salon! Todd is awesome and a sweetheart! Love, love, love this salon

Having your hair done at WalterTodd is a fabulous experience. I have been going for years. Walter, Todd and Cindy have done my hair and they are all equally talented. I live in Escondido and it is well worth the drive.

I’m really writing a review on the facility and staff since I’ve never gotten a haircut here, but I do get my pedicures from Dan, who is the absolute best nail technician in San Diego. This is a nice salon with very friendly staff. If I didn’t already love my stylist at Jet-​Rhys I would consider coming here. It’s also located right next door to Big Front Door, which serves amazing sandwiches (although I have yet to actually try one — the descriptions sound really good!)

I’ve been going to Walter of the «WalterTodd» fame for years and years. He is absolutely the best! His is magician with color and cuts. He is honest and will tell you if you can pull off the hair cut/​color you want or not. That being said, if you are insistent he will do that too. However, he has never given me a bad hair cut. Other stylist have asked me who cuts my hair or who did my color because its so good.
I’ve also gone to Todd when Walter wasn’t available. He is equally good. Everyone in the salon is friendly and the vibe is good.

I’ve been seeing Todd for my haircuts for more than 4 years. The service Todd and the salon provides is incredible. A selection of drinks are offered as soon as you arrive and you are welcomed by happy and cheerful stylists. My brother and father are also clients of Walter Todd salon. Highly recommended. Todd, Walter, Cindy, and the rest of the gang are top notch stylists. If you want a haircut with attention to detail, this is the place to go. I refuse to go anywhere else but here!

I just recieved a Cut and Color by Sam and he did a Great JOB!!! It’s the BEST I’ve ever had done and I am in love with it. I will be going to Sam for now on when it comes to my Hair. I can’t brag enough about the style and color, I asked for something different and he gave that to me. Way to go Sam…

Lee Jones is the man! He listens as well as offers his astute and well experienced opinion. He is both an awesome colorist and stylist — very difficult to find both in one in my humble opinion. One of the color lines that he uses all natural, but not all organic. My hair seems to like it and the color lasts!
Another bonus is that this salon sells Renee Furter products which are all natural and repairing for hair that has suffered either from treatment or hormonal changes.

I love Walter Todd!
I’ve been coming to Walter Todd for the last 11 years. I see Cindy and she is fantastic. Does a great job every time. I have pretty basic hair (blonde, straight). I have had so many bad hair jobs since I moved out of San Diego that I never realized how great of a job Cindy does. Now, I literally have flown home from both San Francisco and New York to have her fix my hair. VERY reasonable prices too!
My mom has been going to Walter for even longer to have her hair done. We just can’t get enough!

This is where I go to get my hair cut and have actually experienced 4 of their stylists so far. They have all been excellent. If you are looking for a professional hair cut by friendly knowledgeable people and a nice environment, this is the place to go.

The services was good, but not spectacular, it’s your typical upscale salon. I had been going to Todd of WalterTodd salon for my hair needs for about a year (which he did a good job) I stopped going because one time I came in for my regular haircut and highlights and all of a sudden they tacked on an extra $ 20 for no reason. Another reason I don’t go there anymore, is because it takes a good month for them to schedule me in, and for the price they charge, I shouldn’t have to bend over backwards to get an appointment. For that price, I can find a ton of other great salons that can work with my schedule, and have no surprise charges.

Dare I say it…
Walter has been cutting my hair for 17 years now! It’s for good reason too, he always does an incredible job. The staff is great, and if there’s any wait they make sure you’re comfortable. It’s not overly priced and you get top of the line salon haircuts without the pretentious salon snobs.

Walter Todd is a very pleasant place to get a really good haircut.
A friend referred me to Michael at Walter Todd when my hair was very poorly cut at another salon. Michael is excellent. He assessed the problem and told me what would need to be done to have it grow out without looking horrible. It took several interim cuts to fully grow out the butcher job, but my hair looked good during the process. (Note: Michael’s only there a two or three days a week since he travels all over the US and Canada teaching some advanced seminars.)
If you want gobs of pretentiousness with your haircut, go elsewhere. If you want a great haircut and in a calm, welcoming salon, then visit Michael at Walter Todd.

After suffering in silence with a horrifying haircut that was done at another salon in Hillcrest, I was faced with a decision: let it grow for 6 months til I can get it cut by me trusted stylist back in Boston or give someone else a shot here in San Diego. After reading other reviews about Walter at Walter Todd, I decided to take a chance and let Walter have at it. Well, I am so glad I did! I finally have my hair back! I went in to the salon feeling like I was wearing some kind of horrible, uneven, fried wig and I came out with one of the best cuts I have ever had. It is full, sassy, and smooth as silk! Walter is amazing and I can’t recommend him enough. If you want to take your hair up a notch, you must see Walter at Walter Todd.
Also, the décor is nice and relaxing, the staff was friendly, and the place is super clean. Oh, and the iced tea is a nice touch too!

Lets just say, an angel named Walter appeared before me and saved me from the horrific «bob» curse done by an evil witch!!! Great Haircut i got many compliments!!! thank you again

I’m just a guy who wants a haircut, and I can’t stand places that make a huge production out of it. To my delight, Todd, at Walter Todd’s, did a simple, clean, perfect haircut for $ 30. I arrived hot and bothered from Friday afternoon traffic and I was greeted by a smiling woman who served me a delicious cooling glass of iced tea. I was seated by the professional and charming Todd, in all his relaxed finery. The friday traffic tension was gone; I had entered the Temple of Hair Nirvana. Ohhmmmmmm.

I truly enjoy Walter Todd Salon.
And if you’re looking for a place that does great cuts, highlights, facials, you name it, then you will be happy that you chose to go here.
I was — as every girl is — a bit nervous trying out a new salon about a year ago, and I am SO HAPPY that I did!
Todd cuts, styles and colours my hair, and is amazing. He’s really sensitive to what I’m trying to do with the look (even if I don’t know what that is :-); and when I decided to chop off 12 inches, and gave him a fresh palate and said: «Go — make me pretty» — he did it!
I get compliments all of the time on my style (and I don’t have to do anything with it, which is so lovely), and colour. Truly — I now keep a few of his cards in my purse, just in case :-) And the friends that I have sent there have also been excited about the service and the people.
And the people — everyone who works there is fun, accommodating, and not at all intimidating. The atmosphere is professional, but causal and relaxed, and the extra touches — ex: iced tea with lemon — are a nice plus.
You truly get what you pay for here, and I hope I’m always living close enough to continue going to Todd!
