My favorite place to buy my DJ gear. Gene, Tina, and Alex make customer service their highest priority. I have been buying gear from them for years. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and a great example of a mom and pop shop. State of the art equipment at highly competitive prices. If your a DJ, Church, Sound and or Lighting Company, School, or anyone that needs equipment, this is place for you. I highly recommend them.

Great pricing, friendly staff, family owned local business. I buy almost all of my gear here. They always beat Guitar Center and usually will beat online prices as well. They have bonus deals from time to time on floor models with an extra percentage off their already low prices.
Any DJ, sound or lighting professional/​hobbyist needs to check this place out. You will be surprised at the savings.

Warehouse Sound and Lights are Amazing! Everyone there is so Helpful and easy to work with. I am A DJ and Business owner here in San Diego and I use WSL when ever I can. They are knowledgeable and always go out of there way to help you. If they don’t have then they try to get it. and the PRICES are the best around. They have most of the top names and popular brands. BEST SOUND EQUIPMENT PLACE EVER.
I usually do not write Unilocal reviews because I am so lazy, yet I am writing this piece of short review because this place is that awesome.
It is a small and rather hidden place (Seriously, without Google Map there was no way I could find this place.), but as you step in, you will imediately feel you’re in the right place.
You may not see large selection of things but no worries, they carry only the good stuff. And the price is really good, also.
The staff is kind and knows their stuff, which is another plus.
I know their website look shitty, but don’t be tricked by that. It is a small, yet good place.
I used to go to Guitar Center to buy/​check out sound equipments, but now there is no more need of doing that.
Plus, if you’re living in Northern San Diego area, nearest Guitar Center is in La Mesa (good over 20mins drive on highway) while this place is in Miramar which is in your local area, another huge plus.
So, if you’re looking for a place for sound equipment, don’t hesitate but pay a visit here. If you’re not sure about this place, it’s still ok, just pay a visit to this small local place, which I dare say is a hidden gem in the SD area. You will not regret.

Nice hidden and inconspicuous store. Great wide variety for everything you need to put on your next gig! From lights n lasers, mind blowing subs, crisp tweeters, and an endless array of DJ equipment, these guys have it all! From professional grade to beginner stuff, you can be sure Warehouse Sound & Lights will have you covered!
Staff and employees are very knowledgeable. They will not pressure you to buy. They will take the time to answer any questions you have and definitely hook you up. They are willing to demo any of their equipment for you! If you want something that they don’t carry, they can order it for you and get it in a timely and economical fashion. Prices here are unbeatable! Much cheaper than even the average bargain online production shop. I will definitely be coming back for all my audio/​visual and DJ needs! Untzk untzk untzk! :)

Good store, great staff and competitive pricing. A great place to go if your looking for DJ level gear. My only issue with them is they will not discuss prices on the phone. Because of this I have bought from other stores closer to me since I live a good distance away. They are definitely a place to visit if you’re shopping for basic audio gear and DJ lighting.

I tried my best to study and find out all I could before venturing out to purchase lights, etc. I saw reviews for Warehouse Sound & Lights that said they were very helpful and wanted to give them a try.
Boy was I so happy I did. They are simply GREAT! They have the most patience of any store I have ever been to. They demonstrated all of there lights, some more than once (sorry), and answered all of my questions.
I also looked online to find pricing on the products I saw today — and I would say there prices are lower than any other online store I found (to be honest I found one online store with one product that was lower — but it was on their «blowout» list). In short, I feel the prices are extremely good.
I will come back.

Wow, great staff and a cool place to demo. I started at Musicians Friend online grumpy and ended the day happy after buying from Warehouse Sound & Lights. Better prices than online and truly warm folks.

WHS&L is great! The staff here very knowledgeable about all the products they provide and are really easy to work with. I’ve been working with every since I started DJ’ing. They will test any speakers or lights in their show room, and if they don’t have a product you want then they will order with ease!

People — They guys in there are knowledgeable. They demo some of the items are always great (This is a service I rarely get from GC.…) Speakers, Lights, you name it. I’ve been coming here for years now, .I think they know me by name now!
Location — so out of the way, but SOO WORTH THE TIME!!! I usually don’t bother with GC anymore.
Prices — This place is old school to me. I remember a few of my friends telling me of this spot YEARS ago. Who knew I would «still» be coming to this spot for lights. Memories serve me right, and I came here over 5 years ago with my old crew, and got the best possible witihin our budget. Did parties with em till the fallout, but the lights have stood the test of time. If the light is good, you can probably find it for less here. I continue to shop here, and now that I’m up the road for work, I usually find myself shopping on paydays! My set-​up for lights are only getting better.
Overall — No stress, and no hassle. Believe on the prices and the equipment that they sell. THey only sell the equipment that they only would run. Even the studio equipment stuff. Mobile Dj’s, you’ll love the selection of cases for your stuff. Club owners, GET YOUR STUFF HERE!!! you don’t have to trust me, but believe in the small places like this.

Best prices anywhere. Only bad side is no returns unless of course you bought it broken, and they do not stock any and everything. Only a select «best» items they stock. The staff is very cool and helpful. I like being able to really demo something before I buy the product.
