We are a full-​service anti-​aging medical practice specializing in natural bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for men and women. Established in 1995.

With a lifelong interest in preventative medicine, in 1995, Dr. Weiss founded the Wellness and Longevity Medical Group of La Jolla. Using cutting edge, integrative approaches his patients achieve optimal health and well being. This method incorporates the best of both conventional and integrative medicine, slowing down the aging process.

Dr. Weiss’ philosophy for living a long and healthy life is health from the inside out; to prevent disease whenever possible. To achieve this we use the latest techniques, including proper nutrition, supplementation, weight management and exercise. Our focus is hormonal balance to improve your health and metabolism where necessary. This will help to achieve true genetic potential for longevity and wellness. Dr. Weiss is also certified and trained in cosmetic and laser medicine for aesthetic enhancement.

Dr. George Weiss is a diplomate of the American Board of Bariatric Medicine, a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Anti-​Aging Medicine, Age Management Medicine, American Academy of Male Sexual Health; and staff physician for Cenegenics Medical Institiue, accumulating more than 20 years of clinical experience.

Dr. Weiss has trained and traveled over the world and speaks five languages including; english, spanish, french, hungarian and romanian.

Dr. Weiss currently resides in La Jolla with his two chrildren.

When he’s busy doing what he loves best, making men and women feel and look they’re best he enjoys skiing, kickboxing and hanging out with his kids.

I have had injections from Dr. Weiss several times and he definitely knows what he is doing. The results are great and last longer than injections I have had elsewhere. He is very down to earth, funny, and approachable. He recommends the dose based on your need, s not to make money like the lady insinuated in a previous review.

I have been using Dr. George Weiss for over 5 yrs now and always happy with the results. I usually go in when I am feeling a little blah or my energy level is at a low. George always has me do a blood test first and then goes over it with me so I know what I need to do/​improve on to get my mojo back. Usually after a few weeks of doing what he «prescribes for me» or has me doing/​or not doing I am back feeling/​surfing like I am 25(even though I am closer to 45). Of course, the best part of my office visits is the bubbly ALWAYS nice office manager, Lesha who seems to always be in a happy mood. Her weekly follow ups are always timely and well appreciated. Always feeling full of zip, life and energy, for an OLDer guy, thnx to Dr. Weiss and Lesha!!!

Dr. Weiss has horrible bed side manor. He was rude from the get go when I told him I only wanted as much Dysport as my Living Social would allow. This is not my first time, and I knew it would be enough. He was obviously annoyed, and kept saying it wasn’t going to work. I needed to purchase more to see results. I explained to him, I hadn’t gotten any injections in a while, but I knew this would be enough. I humored him, and asked how much more he thought I needed. He said approximately 40 more units. I asked how much, and he said almost $ 200(round about figures). He acted like $ 200 was nothing, and kept repeating that it was still way under cost. Basically like he was losing money with this deal. I told him these deals are good bc if we like you, we could become regular customers which in turn makes him business. He did not agree, and kept pushing me to buy more.
Stop putting Living Social deals out there of you are beyond annoyed when people use them! To be honest, I would have purchased more units of he would have been a little more respectful!!!

I have been a client of Dr. Weiss for almost 4 years now. Him and is assistant Lesha always make me feel the best about myself. I am currently working with Lesha on nutrition and health as I am getting married next year and I have lost 6 pounds in less than 3 weeks. My body always feels energized and help thanks to them. I continue to return for years!
And an extra bonus, this place is so clear and clutter free. As an skin care specialist this is really important to me and they never let me down!

What can I say, AMAZING! To Start, I love Dr. Weiss’s sense of humor. His staff is awesome, so sweet and personable. I went in today for a special filler appointment with the rep and Dr. Weiss working together. What a fun experience. I got to have all 3 girls including the Dr. checking it out to make sure it was perfect. A little leg squeeze or rub from his amazing assistant Lesha while I cringed a few times. It’s a very calm office, minimal staff, some humor, but also a real sense of caring and so down to earth. Easy to park in their large lot and nice wide windows for a bright office. Happy I am! Thank you Lesha, Dr. Weiss and BellaFill trainer!!!

Dr. Weiss’ office and staff are so personal and welcoming; an added bonus to Dr. Weiss’ expertise and knowledge. I always appreciate the time he takes at each appointment. I’ve been getting Botox and fillers for years, but really noticed a difference when I switched to Dr. Weiss. I tried Voluma a few months ago and am super happy with the results. Definitely recommend the entire office and staff!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Weiss’ for almost three years now. When I hit a major low point in my life due to memopause, I had begun the process of finding a new doctor by going through a list of 25 potential medical professionals. I called each one but only two actually answered the phone or called me back. Dr. Weiss’ office was one of the two and the way my call was handled made me choose them. He has helped me regain my hormonal balance and lose the weight I had gained. I couldn’t believe that I could actually feel good again. Dr. Weiss is a skilled professional with a good sense of humor. He listens to my description of my concerns and considers my perspective while offering his opinion/​advice. No other doctor has even come close to the extensive lab work he orders. All the others have missed so much!
He has a wonderful staff inLesha and Ruth who oversee a wide range of services/​procedures. They are knowledgeable and have excellent people skills, always making me feel welcome. As their patient, you feel like you have a team of people assisting and supporting you to accomplish your goals. They also offer a variety of IV treatments and esthetic procedures that enhance your overall sense of well-​being.
I am grateful to have found this type of medical practice. I recommend that you check it out.

I have been working with Ruth for a while now and with her help was able to lose almost 40 lbs. Aside from her professionalism and being knowledgable, I really loved Ruth’s positive vibe and encouraging nature. She truly helped me get to my goals not just by making my plans and sharing info, but also by being a friend and cheerleader. She really helped motivate me and that kept me going especially when the weight loss got tough. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

I found Wellness and Longevity on a Living Social deal for 50 units of Dysport. I called the office to make an appt and the receptionist was so nice and got me in right away. Although I had some problems finding the place because of my GPS, ugh! I was able to make it to the office. I filled out my paperwork, and was taken back to see the Doctor. The Nurse who talked to me first was very friendly and knowledgeable and let me know what to expect and if I wanted additional units it would be four dollars per unit. I waited about 15min for Dr. Weiss to come in the room, which for a Doctor is pretty quick. Dr. Weiss was very funny, but thorough and very professional throughout the whole procedure. He let me know I needed additional units, which I was expecting. He also asked what my budget was and was willing to work with me. I was very impressed with how he opened the bottle and mixed it in front of me, which let me know it was fresh and wasn’t diluted. I ended up with an additional 40 units of Dysport, which is typical for me. Over all I was very happy with my visit and already booked my next appointment.

First off… Ruth is amazing! As far as customer service goes, it is hard to find these days!!! I can count on Ruth to be professional, punctual, and one to always go above and beyond. She truly cares about you as a client, and always puts you and your best interest first! The office is always clean, the staff is always kind… and i would highly recommend it!!! If you want to go where your money and time is valued… this place is definitely it. This is not only a business, this is an establishment where the staff genuinely cares about you as a person… not how to make a quick buck!!! So if your looking for a quick fix, fine… but if you truly are committed to listening, and taking time for yourself to better yourself, mind, body etc… you will not be disappointed here!!!

I highly recommend this office. I found Dr. Weiss on a living social B12 deal. I went in for a B12 shot that changed my life. I was so tired all the time and needed extra energy. I went in for the shot the nurse Ruth explained the explained any possible outcome and was so gentle I didn’t even feel the needle. I finished my moth of b12 and was so happy with my energy level; I bought more and upgraded my shot package. This placed is amazing a real hidden gem.

I love my weekly appointments with Ruth and Lesha. They really know how to make you feel welcomed! I came in originally with a groupon for B12 shots and once my package was done, I continued. Both Ruth and Lesha are super friendly, they know how to treat you like they’ve known you for years. They are so sweet and caring, always concerned about how you are, how your feeling, if any of the shots are working, how’s life, etc.
I once ran into them outside of the office and they treated me like I was family, which I think is important when building client relationships. I also am part of the Relay For Life of La Jolla — they are actively assisting me in spreading the word at their office, around town, and during expos they have been participants in… I know because I got contacted a few times from other La Jolla residents and businesses. How sweet is that?
They take pride in what they do and aren’t afraid to tell you (or someone like me who thinks I need everything being offered) what you need, what you don’t need and what helps better. Every other clients who walk in and out of that door are always happy and are always raving about how amazing they feel or how positive their results were from their last appointment. I totally trust them and I enjoy coming back!

Don’t waste your money. I’ve disputed my charge with this heinous office. I’ve gotten Botox before, just to get rid of my 11’s, it usually only takes 15 units. I saw a deal come across my email, and decided to call the office directly so they wouldn’t have to split it with the company blasting their deal. I got an appointment right away and drove up to La Jolla, where I waited for almost 35 mins to be seen. This doctor was unprofessional, and looked like a creeper. He told me I need 20 units and that he was going to use a new product, because he liked it better. I asked him to stick with Botox please, but he insisted, and then poked my face and sent me away. A month later I still have my 11’s. Stay far away! This place should close down soon, I’m sure they are losing tons of customers and clients. #getbotoxsomewhereelse

Bought 50 units of dysport on a living social deal back in march. I read the reviews first however generally like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Making my appt was easy and quick seeing as how the receptionist was both organized and friendly. When I got there the receptionist was just as friendly and helpful. I did have to wait for the doctor a bit and he did try to sell me on more units. At the same time he is running a business, what business doesn’t try to upsell? I was firm in getting only to 50 I came in with and he was fine with that saying I could always come in and get more if needed. Having never gotten dysport before, I am Happy with the results I got but they only lasted 3 or so months. Shame.

I went to Dr. Weiss the first time for Dysport on a Living Social deal. He spent a lot of time with me carefully explaining my options. I had great results with lines on my forehead and around my eyes.. I returned for a second visit to eliminate some lines around my lips. He again was very careful to explain my options. We decided on Restylan to give me a much more defined mouth. I was amazed at the difference.
He administers with very little discomfort and sometimes I didn’t feel anything at all.
Leesha is amazing and always so encouraging. So exciting to have someone out there to help make things better.

I had the same experience as Carlos E and Shannon S. I’ve had dysport before and been very happy with 40 units which lasted about 4 months. The doctor I went to before (Dr. RIcke) told me I’d be fine getting dysport about twice a year.
Dr. Weiss tried a hard upsale telling me I needed at least twice as much dysport and do it every three months.
I’ve gone twice now. The second time was by accident when I didn’t realize the living social deal was for the same doctor. It looks like they have moved around quite a bit.
Anyway, I wasn’t happy after my first experience and I was not happy after my second.
If I had to sum up the Wellness and Longevity Medical Center in one word it would be «shiesty.»

I used to go to Spa 858 when they advertised in the SD Reader. I had some Juvederm on my labal nasial fold in 2008 and it has lasted there since, it still looks alot better there. That big triangle between the nose and mouth is gone. I also had Juvederm done on my upper lip and was very pleased with the results. I don’t want to go anywhere else for Juvederm injections and take the chance of not liking results.
Dr Weiss gave me the exact look I was going for. I live in San Francisco and Texas and plan to get my Juvederm done here again when I am in the area. That is really funny someone’s complaint was Dr Weiss saying regarding Botox: «Where do you want it?» I felt in good hands with Dr Weiss getting Juvederm on my lips, the extra 20% is worth it and they have a loyalty discount they apply in the future.
