Loved the wich and the great customer service! Will definitely return soon. I was able to create a monster of a sandwich and I honestly loved every bit of it. The bread is great and the veggies seemed fresh, just an awesome place overall.

Got a hankering for a sandwich? Out of the dozens(or hundreds) of sandwich places out there, Which ‘Wich is one that really knows what to put between two pieces of bread. The heavenly deliciousness of their menu will somehow make you justify paying $ 12 for a sandwich. If you’ve never been here before, they have fun & interactive way of ordering. Come in, check out the menu, and once you decide on a sandwich, select a corresponding numbered hoagie bag. Grab a red sharpie to mark up that bag to check all the ingredients you want to customize your sandwich — cheeses, veggies, breads, spreads, etc. I’ve been to the one in Pasadena and was happy when I stumbled across this location while attending a work conference in the area. Even though they make a mean ‘wich, I only eat here once in awhile. Although they do have«healthier» options, I only come here when I want to splurge. I’d suggest«The Wicked»… yum yum. If you are a sandwich fan, these babies are hearty and substantial. Prices range from $ 8-$ 14(depending on what you order), a bit pricey for a sandwich, but definitely worth a try. It may be hard to go back to Subway.

Unfortunately, I must update my review. My husband got very sick with food poisoning. I had called twice to find out if anyone else got sick and to properly inform a business about potentially spoiled ingredients or poor hygiene practices. I provided my name and number and was told the manager would contact me. Never happened. I won’t be able to go back. I can’t say for certain that he got sick there, not accusing anybody, but I am saying I won’t return– solely based on lack of communication, which has left me presuming he may have gotten sick from this place.

Lol ahhh this location really knows how to mess up your order! Ordered a turkey club with a good amount of veggies. They forgot to put on the bacon, tomato, pepperchinis, onion, pickles, hot pepper mix and hummus. After opening to check my sandwich in the car, I went back to the store to say that they left off about have of my items. They gave me the items in a small cup. No offer to remake or discount… Just a cup of the items they forgot for me to pour into to my sandwich. If they offered to remake my sandwich, I would have declined because I don’t like the concept of wasting food, but the genuine offer would have been nice customer service. That’s usually how food establishments respond to an order made wrong or incorrectly. Oh well, there’s another which wich off Carmel Mountain!

Don’t ask me why but I was really keen to try this place and had the idea it was going to knock my socks off. Maybe they do some good marketing or something but I had a very positive mindset about this place before coming in and I was eager to try it. Well, I tried it and won’t be back. The way you order is new and interesting but confusing if it’s your first time. Basically you pick a bag from the wall and fill out certain sections with a pen and you hand that to the cashier. Fine I guess. But what’s really important is the sandwich. I had an Italian grinder and it was very blah and boring. What makes that more surprising is that, based on how you order on the little bag, you get to have the sandwich exactly how you want it. Even then, with all of the ingredients added to my liking, it was still boring. Oh well. I tried.

My favorite sandwich place and the most incredibly nice employees. Love it. Ordered a sandwich with bacon which was innocently forgotten on the sandwich. When I asked for bacon they brought me a whole new sandwich. They are awesome. :)

Which Wich isn’t known for its speed, but rather for its quality sandwiches. So, because I was in somewhat of a hurry, I decided to order online in order to avoid the wait. I ordered an hour ahead of time, and got to the restaurant at the exact time that I requested pick-up. Instead of finding my sandwich waiting for me, I found that they had just started making it. I had to wait 13 minutes from the time to get my sandwich. I could have just ordered at the store and had the sandwich in the same amount of time. I’m knocking off another star because they also seem to be more stingy with their meats than the Carmel Mountain location. Edit: Really sad to have to lower the rating. They’ve dropped to one star as I contacted them, was informed I’d hear back, and never heard anything. I’ll probably continue going to the Carmel Mountain store. The one time they messed up they went overboard trying to make things right.

Love the Wich Bowl with any meats. I can get 2 meals out of it! You can order ahead with their app. Perfect if you’re on a lunch break.

Great sandwiches with a unique variety of toppings for everyone including vegetarians. Their bread is always delicious and they serve the sandwich warm which makes it even better. They also periodically send coupons in the mail if you live near any of the locations. The only downside is that it can be quite a long wait for a sandwich.

Went here for the second time today, figuring everyone deserves a second chance. What a waste of time, not to mention money. There won’t be a third time. My niece is a Which Wich fanatic. So about a month ago, I figured I’d give it a shot and went to the new one that just opened in RB. I ordered 2 sandwiches. And waited. And waited. And waited. After an exceptionally long wait(25 minutes) for my two sandwiches, I finally escaped and went home. My sandwich was meh… decent, not great. In the interest of fairness, however, my son said his was really good. Today, with my son’s encouragement, we went a second time. Placed our order at 2:00 p.m. straight up(according to my receipt). There was one other customer in the place, who already had her sandwich. Ours were the only two bags on the line, and it took them until 2:14 to make them(I was so tired of waiting I made note of the time on my phone). Totally ridiculous when you consider any other sandwich place — and I don’t care which one, ANY of them — will have your sandwich ready in under 5 minutes. We’d gone there with their coupon for a free small sandwich with purchase of one of equal or greater value, and two drinks. Bill came to $ 21. With the coupon. What?!? With sandwiches finally in hand, we came home. Again, my son’s sandwich was good, fresh bread, he loved it. The rock I received disguised as a sandwich was a different story. That bread had to have lived all its life under the continual breeze of the a/c for it to have become as petrified as it was. I tried to bite into it. True. Not happening. It was so intensely stupidly hard that I actually took a video while I tried to knock a hole in it with the heavy end of a butter knife and all it did was splinter. I posted it on Facebook, and would dearly love to post it here if I could figure out how. The entire thing went into the trash. Sadly, due to a work deadline, I was not able to take it back and break their counter with it. The desire was there. The time, not so much. How does anyone make a sandwich with bread that will dent steel? How do they not know when this particular roll should be tossed in favor of one, I don’t know, FRESH? And to so obscenely OVERCHARGE for this abomination… insult to injury. Do not go to this Which Wich, people. I don’t know what the other locations are like, and at this point I never will. But stick with Submarina, if you can. Or Jersey Mike’s. Or even Subway if there’s nothing else available. What this Which Wich serves is unidentifiable as sandwiches. A «WTF?» Update: October 14, 2015 Dennis Holland, the Area Director for Which Wich in Southern California, contacted me by email the very next day after the above-reported incident. He offered to refund me for the cost of the sandwich and to send me coupons for«some» free Wiches, stating that, although he «can’t imagine what caused your sandwich to be so bad,» he promised to «visit the store again today and find out what happened.» All good. I was impressed by the timeliness of the response and the offer to make it right. Both signs of good management. I responded right away accepting the refund offer, sending him the video I had made(all 27 seconds of it), along with a photo of the receipt(for the aforementioned promised refund), and telling him honestly that while I appreciate the offer of «some free Wiches,» the truth is that I would probably give those to my son, as I don’t intend to ever visit Which Wich again. Flash forward to today, October 14, I receive an envelope in the mail(postdated October 9, so props for being, again, timely), with nothing in it but two cards, one pre-printed for a free sandwich, one pre-printed for a buy-one-get-one-free. REALLY? No note(not even a business card?!?), no REFUND, as promised? And a slap in the face of a buy-one-get-one-free??? The envelope itself had nothing on it but a handwritten Coronado address, nothing that suggests it’s from Which Wich(why is it a secret?). I find it more than a little strange and wholly unprofessional that Dennis, and Which Wich, have ultimately chosen to handle this matter in this fashion. Maybe they can’t afford the refund? WTF?

Love their bread, the nice chewiness of it… just the way that I like it. Haven’t tried any of their sandwiches cold as of yet. But we love their pulled pork sandwich and we usually get extra coleslaw on it. Love the way that you can customize your sandwich to tailor it exactly to your liking. The ordering process is cute and efficient as well. Grab a bag by number based on your protein, a red Sharpie and check as many boxes as your little heart desires. This is our go to ‘wich place from now on!

Slowest place ever. Only 2 girls, 1 mopping, 1 making all the sandwiches. Had 7 sandwiches lined up. Soooo many people in the place, crazy. No sense of urgency.

Just like all the other Which Wich’s I’ve been to. It’s decent, slow and over priced. Same visual with a lot of people sitting around waiting and no one eating. I like the concept on ordering and the bag, but none of the sandwiches get me excited. Great if you’re in a pinch, but I don’t recommend going out of your way. I got a small cubano. The quality was decent, but missing the mark. There’s a lot of better options in the area. They need to improve up their beverage selections.

Which Wich is the perfect take on a sandwich. It’s definitely no Subway, Quizno’s or Togo’s it has it’s own signature flavor and exceeds all the other chains. I find Which Wich to be much fresher than other places. All the ingredients are fresh and healthy, as well as super tasty. I really dig the sandwich combinations, they are different than the normal boring sandwich types. I love the condiment options, there’s literally a million combinations. I really liked the Turkey Club. There’s even an option to make a Bowl! Pretty awesome if you’re wanting to cut out the carbs. I have yet to order online, but there is that easy option too say if you’re office wanted lunch(or dinner!) I went to a picnic party, and Which Wich catered, the sandwich option to cater is a great way to go. Guests seemed very pleased and full! I would absolutely recommend Which Wich over any other sandwich place based on taste and the many options, alone. Not to mention, the price! Can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the ambiance was well maintained. On thr other hand, multiple people that ordered after me got their sandwhiches before I did to the point where I thought they lost my order. And it’s not like I ordered something difficult, just your average turkey on wheat. In regards to the actual food, it was good however I have stopped expecting to get everything I asked for. Or they’re just very stingy with how much of an ingredient they put in the sandwhich. Definitely a hit or miss when I come here.

People here are so nice and helpful with your ordering if you need it! Jon is awesome !!! He makes you visit fun! Great lunch. Food is really good! If it’s not then you need someone else to design it for you. And as for some reviews that gave two starts. If you get a salad and the order forms says, hot or cold. Maybe just maybe the question is for a sandwich! But some people do like hot meat on a salad. If you ordered a avocado and didn’t get it. No need to post two starts. Call then let them know. I’m pretty sure you will be compensated. Well enjoy your lunch! Soo tempted to try the shakes !!!

The staff was just SO friendly. I walked in having no idea what i was doing and the manager, Ayiesha, noticed that I was new right away! It was so nice to see the management of this establishment genuinely care about me and I felt so welcomed as she explained the bag ordering system(genius!!!). I was expecting an average sandwich but what I got was truly superior. I think it was Emily who made it. If she is there you’re in for a treat! I don’t know what they do to their sandwiches, but it is surely magical. Of course, I also had to get a chocolate chip cookie and boy, was it worth it! They’re made in-store and so fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend which which Rancho Bernardo to a friend. Keep up the good work guys!

I use the app for carry out. Sometimes I get what I ordered. Most the time I don’t. 2x the order was ignored until I show up at the store. Another time I ordered a wicked with double meat, I got a wicked without bacon. After complaining they offered a free small(I ordered large) next time I tried ordering they didn’t make it and asked me to stay while they did. I didn’t have time to stay. There are multiple orders I never got, and missing ingredients I had to pay extra to have. But they still took my money. This place is terrible. The food is good, just use a different store. Update: I have been refunded after this was posted and contacted on my other orders. They put in the effort to make it right. I’ll probably try this place after I forget about this because the food I really good. Be cautious on app orders/carry out.

Which wich? Guess I should have chosen which instead of wich salad. The concept is my favorite sandwhich shop. But this store left me missing the one by my house. Pros: Friendly staff, clean, appears consistent to other like stores. Cons: weak qty of food on my meal. Maybe a sandwhich would have been different, but this time I chose the bowl. Added double meat for $ 2-, didn’t look any different than normal, added Avocado for $ 1-, not much and what was clumped together in the bottom. Staff needs training, questions of «do you want it hot or cold?», uhhh it’s a salad. «what size do you want?» Uh it’s still a salad that comes in 1 size bowl. I’ve had this before at other stores and was always satisfied. Not the end of the world if I may be a little dramatic, but for over $ 11 for a salad I’ll unlikely return.
