Full Immersion Class for young children from 1 – 8 years old. We have Spanish Immersion Preschool, Mandarin Immersion Preschool, once a week Enrichment Spanish Classes & Mandarin Classes, and Camps.

Yak Academy integrates fun play-​based immersion, world-​class native speaking instructors, and a unique environment of learning to create a powerful and effective world language experience.

Our time-​tested, proven programs truly build little world citizens. Yak Academy has offered thousands of classes taught by skilled foreign language instructors and backed by curriculum intended to advance world language skills and cultural understanding. Over the years, we’ve partnered with world language and early childhood education experts to design programs with maximum sensory and intellectual activities. We’ve also partnered with our community, parents, and kids to create a culture of care and a learning environment that is warm, safe, fun, and welcoming.

Business Owner

As Co-​President and Chief Financial Officer, I oversee Yak Academy’s growth including the company’s finance, marketing, new business development, and IT processes. In addition, as we have expanded nationally, I developed our Mobile Program and Preschool offerings.

Growing up in a family of seven and caring for neighborhood kids by the age of 12, I have a natural love of working with children and families. Solo traveling in several continents as a young adult strengthened my belief that all children should be exposed to diverse cultures. I also gained valuable industry experience in childhood development through my work launching a line of developmental learning toys and materials for children. The opportunity to marry these three passions into the founding of Yak Academy has been a true labor of love for me.
