History

Established in 2012.

Early in 2012, former dog trainer and dog walker of NYC Pooch and Trow me a Bone Inc., Rita Bolla (ABCDT MFA) and Christopher Lapinel (MLit) moved to California with their three rescued pooches: Steve, Callu and Black Mamba. Rita and Christopher established YOGI PUPS&PURRS to provide their professional services to greater San Diego in positive reinforcement dog training, dog walking, dog running, Fiesta Island trips, pet sitting and pet boarding. Rita also paints pet portraits.

Business Owner

RITA BOLLA is a certified dog trainer and behavior consultant by Animal Behavior College, using positive reinforcement training techniques. She is a member of the American Pet Dog Trainer Association and certified Animal CPR. RITA was born in Budapest, Hungary, where she studied visual art and earned an MFA in 2009. Upon arriving in New York City, 2010, she worked in a doggy daycare and subsequently worked as a dogwalker, as she studied positive reinforcement dog training techniques at the Animal Behavior College. Early in 2012, she moved to California with her partner, Christopher and their three rescued pooches: Steve, Callu and Black Mamba. RITA and Christopher established YOGI PUPS&PURRS to provide their professional services to the greater city of San Diego.
