This place is OK for a hotel bar, but the owner is a complete jerk who finds it amusing to lead out of towners astray on a wild goose chase for his own amusement. Perhaps that is just cool with Californians, but I suppose I am used to Texans who would never be so rude to their patrons. Sad that San Diego is so beautiful aesthetically but lacks hardcore in the moral department of its populus

Best bar I’ve been too. Zack the owner really cares about his business and what happens with it ! He really takes care of you like a «guest» not a customer I will definitely be back every time I’m here in San Diego and will never forget this bar ! Enjoy !

Zack’s bar is a great place to dine right next to the Best Western. The first night here and our last night here at this place has been nothing but positive. For a small dive eaterie that is surrounded by a whole bunch of other places, this place does not disappoint for the food they have to offer. The prime rib, Tbone steak, blt was just unreal. Everthing was delicious. The hot fudge brownie sundae we shared was friggin huge! There was just about four bites left but we had to tap out on this one. Nope. Couldn’t do it. The customer service here is super friendly. The first night we came here, we must have arrived here a little before closing and still, but we were still greeted and served. I’m assuming it was the honcho that runs this place was waiting on. I didnt catch his name, but he was very professional and courteous about everything he did. If you are staying at this Best Western hotel, I would highly recommend giving this place a try out. You will not be disappointed.

Located at the Best Western Seven Seas Hotel, Zack’s Bar was a great place to hang out and have frosty cold adult beverages and watch some football. The bar keep was attentive and friendly and the place, although small, was comfortable and a fun place to hang.
