I really wanted to write a review about Brigette who I have been seeing for over 5years. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and very compassionate and caring making each appointment a good experience. I have learned so much from Brigette as she so readily shares her knowledge, I can say all the information that she has shared, has taken my own health to a higher level. Sonia is the best! I have been getting massage from her for about a year now and she really is good. She takes her time and really listens. Brigette and her daughter Candice are amazing. I get colonic with them and they always make me feel comfortable and really work hard to make my colonic experience the best it can be. Each time I go in I lose more from my intestines. My favorite part is their massage work to help more things through. Brigette is so knowledgeable she has been doing for years.

I went in for treatment by Justin Heesakker for inflammation in my extensor tendons. I told him I preferred to try an alternative method to acupuncture, so he performed moxibustion (without needles) on my skin to promote circulation. Before I left, he gave me a liniment and some herbal plasters (patches that I cut to size and stuck on the top of my fingers). Within 1 – 2 days of his treatment and using the herbal plasters at home, I was back on track using my fingers pain-​free. Thanks Justin!

Even though I laid off rock climbing for three months, my pulley injury did not improve. I dealt with the pesky recurring pain long enough and decided to go see Justin who had successfully treated a friend with his chronic arm pain. Truth be told, I was pretty nervous about the idea of needles poking through my skin. Justin was very helpful in explaining things and putting me at ease, and the needles did not hurt at all! A couple of appointments, some Chinese herbs as prescribed by Justin and voilà, I am back climbing with no pain. Thanks Justin!

I went in for an acupuncture treatment from Justin Heesakker. I have had chronic neck and back pain for a while. This was my first time trying acupuncture and I was not sure what to expect. I was impressed, the treatment was relaxing and after one treatment my neck pain is gone and my back muscles are much looser (in a good way). I would absolutely go back for another treatment.

Justin and Sonia helped keep me pieced together while I was training for my first 50K run… which I completed successfully! I’m not sure what I would have done without the ZenQi team; they offer reliable care at an affordable cost! I have been treated there for not only sports injuries, but all sorts of maladies. I went here to get acupuncture done from Justin Heesaker after a referral from a colleague. I had an arm injury from over climbing that would just not go away even after weeks and weeks of rest. I did everything I could to take care of the injury but nothing seemed to work. I finally decided to get acupuncture, though at first I was quit hesitant. As a first timer to acupuncture Justin Heesaker was very informative in what he was doing and it was very painless. Since the treatment the injury has never come back and I have been able to climb more often.

Sonia Reece is an amazingly talented holistic healer! I’ve had positive experiences with Sonia’s deep tissue massage, hot-​stone massage, reiki, & yoga classes. Each time I leave a session with Sonia I feel happy, centered, relaxed & rejuvenated. I’ve been getting massages for 13 years due to my scoliosis and I have to say, Sonia is the best massage therapist I’ve ever encountered. When I was having this recurrent migraine in October, my primary care physician kept trying to prescribe medication after medication to stop it and nothing worked. I had 2 very long massages with Sonia and my migraine pain finally subsided. She is truly gifted and I admire her talents. I highly recommend Sonia to everyone looking for a fantastic massage, yoga, or nutrition information!

This was my first experience with any sort of holistic medicine, so naturally I skipped right over acupuncture and got right to the butt vacuuming. Luckily, I chose the right place cause it was a WONDERFUL experience.
I don’t even really know how I first decided to let another human being insert medical grade plastic into my Exit Only, but I spent a few months researching everything I could find and finally settled on Buddha Belly Colonics, with a hydrotherapist named Brigette, but when I called I learned she was moving to a new spa. So guess what… 50 $ AUGUST SPECIAL!
I scheduled two appointments, one for me, one for my friend, and obviously I scheduled hers first because I’m selfish and wanted her ass to be the guinea pig. I luckily got a post-​appointment text saying «It was really easy!» so I showed up a little less stressed out.
The office was really nice, especially considering it was their first day in the building, and I was greeted with a friendly hello and filled out my paperwork. Brigette was right on time and got right to business, having me pee and then undress from the waist down. I entered the room, and then… THE INSERTION. Which was… totally fine? Yeah, she lubed that mf’er up so good that the initial penetration was the simplest part.
The actual process wasn’t the most comfortable thing I’ve ever done, as you occasionally cramp up, and I felt once in a while as though I might shoot feces out all over the freshly painted walls. DON’T WORRY, I DIDN’T. Brigette was sweet, accomodating, and funny, and made me feel 100% comfortable the entire time. She totally sold me on a second session… it was like therapy, meditation, and sodomy, all rolled into one! HooRAH!
Needless to say, here’s what I learned: I drink way too much, I’m a bit dehydrated, and I need to eat more fruits and veggies. I probably could have told myself that; but the best part of the whole experience was walking out and feeling a couple pounds lighter and looking forward to my appointment next week.
If getting your anus plunged sounds totally awesome (and trust me, it’s kinda really awesome watching all your nasty business float through a tube and out into the infinite abyss.) then hit up ZenQi Holistic Health in Crown Pointe.
I totally approve of Zen Qi Holistic Health colonics. You’ll feel like a million bucks, if a million bucks had a butthole that was getting irrigated like Gulf coast during the rainy season. Yippeeee!
