I went into the salon and I was super excited, not only was the salon super cute but the staff was friendly and welcoming. My stylist was Jessica R. she was very attentive to my hair needs and made recommendations for me with regards to styling. I appreciated that she didn’t waste my time (has happened before at other salons) and listened to what I wanted for my custom style. I will definitely go back to her, she is very knowledge and is a great hair resource. She saved my hair (literally) Jessica I will see you in four weeks.

I had high hopes for this place but was deeply disappointed. I recently moved to the area from San Francisco and was looking for a salon that does Brazilian Blowouts. I found a BB deal on LivingSocial for Glam Studio and, after checking their reviews on Unilocal,I was convinced this has to be a good place. I decided to purchase two vouchers… one for myself and the other as a gift for my niece.
I went to my appointment and I thought Jessica did a good job and sent me home with an acai masque. I used it on my first wash and was disappointed when it dried frizzy and wirey… it looked like I never even had a Brazilian Blowout. I’ve had BB’s done many, many times over the years and they’ve lasted more than 3 months. This time it only lasted until my first wash. I thought «no big deal, I’ll just let Jessica know and have it re-​done». After texting back and forth, she suggested I email the owner, Lauren. I should have known right then and there that if I, the client, have to be the one to chase down the owner to rectify the problem as opposed to the other way around, then it’s a good sign that customer service is not their strength. Unfortunately, I was right!
Lauren’s response to my email summed up here: «Unfortunately I will not be accommodating you for a redo consultation».
She never asked to see me so that she can take a look at my hair and I was made to feel like I’m the one in the wrong or lying about it or trying to take advantage. I honestly just wanted to get what I bought, a Brazilian Blowout. I’m bummed that there was zero effort on Glam’s part to try and find a solution or to try to keep me as a client.
What I learned about Glam Studio: Customer service means nothing to them.
The silver lining to this story — I’m happy to report that I recovered the funds for the gift voucher!

Adriana is great. She is super friendly and really cares that you’re happy with her work. She did a great job and I enjoyed her company … I recommend her

Had an amazing first time experience with Adriana, bought a Groupon for a great deal couldn’t pass it up. I was in need of a lighter color an I know it can’t happen in one session. I know the process an I’m not scared to go somewhere new hair is hair. I was so pleased with her bolauge technique, she just gained a new client. Btw I really love the vibe that owner an Adriana have so cool an warming. I felt like an idiot cause I live in san dimas an never knew about the Sola salon what a cool place never seen anything like it. Must go!!!

I recently came here to get a haircut with Adriana and I was really pleased with the result! She was very friendly and I showed her an example of what I wanted and she told me what she was going to do to achieve that. I have really thick hair so sometimes if it isn’t properly cut it looks very heavy but she did an excellent job. I wasn’t worried at all because I had seen some of her work on her Instagram (it’s great.) I got a simple hair cut but if I ever decide to color my hair, I would come to her! Also, next time I plan to go a little shorter and now I feel totally comfortable coming back and having her do it. Definitely going to recommend her!
Parking is plenty. The salon is inside of a larger building and when you walk in there are a million little salons. This really threw me off but they have a directory for you. Glam Studio is located towards the back. An intimate little studio, there was only one other client.

Lauren is funny, witty and we had a good time talking with Lauren, while she did a hair color and cut. She’s super popular because she does a great job with your hair, in fact I know a lot of friends that use her. She loved the way her hair turned out. On top of it all, her place is well decorated and comfortable– very cute boutique. :)

Loved the Brazilian blowout! Seriously actually worked! I have pretty curly hair and it made it so amazing and smooth and my roots were soft and straight! Adrianna did a great job! Probably going to go back every 3 months! Found the deal off living social for $ 107 for Brazilian blowout and haircut ! I’ve done the Brazilian blowout before and the outcome was nothing like this place! I honestly didn’t expect much but was realllllllyyy impressed by the outcome! The place was located inside Sola studio, it consists of a bunch of little salons in one indoor area.

Adriana is awesome! She always does my hair. She does a great job and she’s easy to talk to. She always pictures your vision. She’s got a great color touch too. Her and Lauren always do a great job! So if you are looking for the results you wish and dream of, go to them. I drive from Pasadena, so don’t let distance get to you.

Love when Lauren does my hair! I get so many compliments and if I got a $ 1 for every compliment, I’d easily have a MILLION dollars! Highly recommended!!!

I did the brazilian blowout for the first time here I was in love on how my hair looked Lauren also colored my hair I was expecting to leave the salon with damage hair due to all the chemicals but I was wrong my hair was beautiful and healthy. This is the place that you want to recommend to your friends and family.

I haven’t had my hair professionally done in years! I thought it was about time rather than just spending $ 8 on a hair dye box from Rite-​Aid. Adriana did my hair and it came out amazing. All I did was show her a picture of what I wanted and it came out exactly like the photo. Let’s just say I’m never going back to boxed hair dye!

Love love love coming here! Lauren knows exactly what your hair needs! I always walk out feeling like a new woman! I highly recommend the Balayage and Brazilian Blowout!

Lauren is excellent-​she works quickly and attentively and ensures you are comfortable and on the same page about what you’re looking for. She given me haircuts, Brazilian blowouts, ombré, and total hair color makeovers and I totally trust that when i walk out of the salon I will be happy.
I think she is especially gifted with color – whether its blonde, brunette, or somewhere in between she just nails it all the time.
Try her out – you won’t be sorry! She also has monthly specials on her website so check them out before you book.

My experience with Glam Studio:
Adriana is truly thee best! I originally went in with black colored hair and wanted to lighten my hair for the summer season. I knew it would be a process to go lighter and would take a few visits.
First visit we did an ombré. Base color and added highlighting on the bottom portion. 2^nd visit I did another round of highlighting and you can see I have gradually gotten lighter. (See photo)
3^rd visit I wanted my whole hair lighter all around so we did a balayage. I absolutely loved my results!
I also have done Brazilian Blowout for the first time! My hair is less frizzy, more manageable and blowdries super quick.
I highly recommend anyone who wants to change things up a bit– whether it’s a subtle look or something drastic.
Adriana is definitely talented at what she does and she is super sweet… I have even referred family and friends and everyone is satisfied by Adriana’s amazing work.
Overall: You will be extremely satisfied with your results.

I’m so happy I found Adriana & Glam Studio! I went in with damaged, overbleached hair & walked out with a sunkissed, shiny hairdo. Adriana lightened my roots, added balayage highlights, trimmed the ends, and did a Brazilian blowout. She is easy to talk to, yet allowed me to read my mag, too. She’s educated with the newest hair techniques & is a true professional. The studio is super-​cute and clean. I made my appointment with Lauren over the phone, and she was professional and informative as well.

Lauren and Adriana are true educated professionals.
Both my daughters recently had their hair done by Adriana. She did an amazing job. The color and cut is fantastic. Adriana listened to what my girls wanted, she then recommended what would best work for their hair. I’m glad we listened! Both my girls are extremely happy with the results and will both be coming back to Adriana.

Lauren is awesome and the only person I would trust with hair. With or without groupon her prices are well worth the services she provides. She has a convenient location and such a professional! She has such a great eye for the latest fashions and trends.
I constantly am being complemented on my hair regardless of the color length style and I can only thank Lauren for that!
The online booking is so quick and easy not to mention convenient I have to say I love that too because I’m a busy working mom which makes it difficult to find someone that I can go to that is available at times are convenient for me and my crazy busy life (I’m sure you can all relate) I can view her available appointment times and pair that with my availability. It helps to see the price for the service as well.
I can go on and on but honestly you must try her out for yourself. Once u schedule and have a look in mind, get ready to look amazing!

Adriana (works under Lauren), is assertive and interested in my hair. I have had platinum for 15 years. I moved to California from Texas and have not found anyone that knew how to color or care for my hair in the last 3 years. She takes her time and cares about the health and quality of products she uses. It is a pleasant and great experience, and she will be my new stylist.

Lauren has been doing my hair for the past 6 months. I get compliments all the time now. My color is rich, my cut makes my hair look thicker and the health of my hair is now perfect.
