Horrible horrible horrible. If I could give zero stars I would. 1.) service here is horrendous! Walked in and there were four of us but only 2 sets of silverware and no napkins. waitress never asked if we wanted drinks, never brought silverware. there was only ONE other couple in the whole restaurant yet it took 30 min just to get salads. And then they brought me the wrong dressing and the waitress ROSIE argued with me and was very rude. she proceeded to chat with the table next to us the entire time and never asked if we needed anything or check on us. she was super obnoxious and loudly having a personal conversation with the table next to us and I walked out because I didn’t wanna here her voice anymore. Extremely unprofessional! 2.) the food. Portions were tiny for the amount you are paying. I got the tortellini. The pasta was extremely bland, not all cooked through, and pasta sauce was super bland and almost tasted like mayonnaise. Gross! Garlic bread she brought out was burnt but in the waitress words it’s «crispy» not a surprise from her. 3.) they nickel and dime you. This whole table of 4 gets 4 measly slices of garlic bread. And if you want more it’s extra. Also brought all of our food out except for my brothers and by the time he got his food we were already done. Keep in mind her ordered PIZZA. FFS oh but the manager«made it right» by giving us 10% off. We won’t be back Conclusion: steer clear. You can go to a better restaurant with better service and food for the same price or cheaper. To the owner: fire your waitress Rosie ASAP. She’s unprofessional and rude and WILL cost you business.

So, I have lived in San Dimas pretty much my whole life(I’m 33 years old) and finally decided to go to Pozetto. I ordered the Fettuccini Carbonara, Calamari and my boyfriend ordered the spaghetti with 2 meatballs. I should have listened to the reviews in regards to the calamari… it was very flavorful, but not worth the price. The fettuccini carbonara was salty. The spaghetti and meatballs were delicious… but not worth the extra $ 6 for two meatballs. Unfortunately, the service was lacking also as it seemed to have only 1 person running the very small floor and also helping the kitchen. During our lunch there a party of 4 came in, sat down… and ended up leaving because they didn’t receive any service. I can at least I say I gave this place a try…

I really enjoy their soups! The waiter was very witty and kind. Food is great! Music is relevant with the restaurants theme. One of my favorite Italian restaurants to dine at.

Oh my:) May we say, that tonight, when we walked in, being so tiered, after a long day, we were greeted by Jack,& well to make a long story short, it was AWSOME!!! I & my wonderful husband(LOVE) great Italian food & this was nothing but that! I had the mixed seafood w/linguini & my husband had the chicken Parmesan /lasagna trio !! The flavor of both of our meals were EXCELLENT:) & our conversation with Jack, who took his time with us, made our night! If we could rate this place higher, we would !! Thank you Jack & to the chef as well. we will be back soon:)

Amazing food, just amazing. I didn’t expect to have a wow experience, but this restaurant… you have to stop by this place if you ever is in the area. I had Pescatore Ala Mare(seafood) and it hit to the stomach. Perfect sauce, perfect cook, perfect food. I would eat here again whenever I am in town again.

This is our family’s go-to restaurant. I’ve tried many dishes, all were delicious, but a favorite is the spinach tortellini. Their pizzas are wonderful, hands down the best pizza crust I’ve ever had. The owner Jack is so nice and attentive, he likes to come around and check on diners to make sure everything is just right. I’ve been to a party that they catered, and the tray sized portions were just as good tasting and quality as the personal portions you get at the restaurant. It’s small, so not for groups larger than 15, but again, they have catering!

Neither ham, mushrooms, not fettuccine sauce belong in carbonara. It fell really short of my standards for Italian food.

Sooo… I was scrolling through Unilocal, trying to find something different to try. I knew I was super hungry but had no clue what I wanted. When I came across Pozzetto’s, I first checked to see if they had a delivery option. My Sundays have lately been dedicated to Grad School homework. Anyway, I looked through the photos… Liked what I saw… And proceeded to call and place my order! So since there was a $ 30 minimum for deliveries, I decided to try out a few items. I ordered the meat lasagna and ravioli combo which was a yummy, nice-sized order. It came with either a soup or salad(I got the salad) along with garlic bread which sooooo freakin’ good. My honey got a small pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage. He loved it! We then got the Italian hot wings which I really enjoyed because they were cooked well and had a spicy flavor… I’m all about the spice! The delivery time was about 35 minutes or so. Honestly, I can’t remember exactly how long it took but I didn’t feel as though I was waiting forever. All-in-all, great Italian-delivery experience!

Terrible food. Terrible and slow service. Inconsistency all the way around. Wine was served in water goblets and the levels were visibly different between my husband and my glasses. The food had no flavor. Every sauce tasted the same between the ravioli and spaghetti. The penne with vodka sauce was sketchy. I am afraid we may get sick. There were dust bunnies falling on us throughout dinner. Such a strange experience. My kids at 7 and 9 kept saying, «Gordon Ramsey needs to visit this place!» Do yourself a favor and wait for a table at a reputable restaurant, unlike us. Don’t be impatient and spend $ 60 on a meal you’ll love instead of regretting every penny you’ve spent!

Ever since I’ve moved out here to California, it’s been a struggle for me to find food that reminds me of home. Don’t get wrong, I love a good burrito or sushi just as much as the next red blooded American. You see, I’m from New Jersey. Born and raised and this restaurant is the best Italian cuisine this side of the Mississippi hands down! Don’t even bother going to any corporate or chain restaurants. Everything here is fresh, full of exquisite flavor and very reasonably priced. Park down the block and walk to Pozetto. Enjoy the scenery and sounds of this quaint«cowboy town». The service is top notch, they make you feel right at home. There no gimmicks and no need for over presentation. The food speaks for itself!

Worst service ever. Empty restaurant when we walked in. Took a couple minutes to be greeted. After 10 mins finally took our order. Wanted to order garlic bread but was told it came with our meal(never received). When soup and salad came out we didn’t have utensils or napkins. Thought he was bringing but after 5 mins had to ask. Then the waiter proceeded to do something else. Food was okay but service was terrible. We were never asked if we would like drinks or dessert either. I understand if a restaurant is busy or short handed but this was was no service. We won’t return.

My friend and I know the owner because he comes into our job. He invited us to come try his restaurant! We came in Monday night around 7:30 pm. The restaurant is very nice, I love the lights. There was a party of 12 there as well as another group but the service was very fast. He was taking orders and tending to the tables… he was busy but made sure everyone was being taken care of. I liked that it was dim with a candle light feel, I don’t like super bright restaurants! We immediately received water and ordered some wine. The wine was sparkling and very fruity! I don’t like tart wines. The wine was so good we had two bottles! Lol. I ordered the shrimp pizza and my friend got the chicken Alfredo. We also tried some fried zucchini and mozzarella, a salad, as well as some spicy sauce he made. The food was amazing! Way better then Olive Garden. Everything was hot, fresh, and fast! We got so full and had to take some to-go but hey… breakfast. Also the garlic bread is the best! Dip that in ranch and it’s heaven.

If you happen to be in the downtown San Dimas area, this is the best Italian food by far. The ambiance is quaint, and the feel of the whole neighborhood is very charming. The food is absolutely outstanding. The handmade pizza was fresh and the dough is addictive. I’d give this place more stars, but Unilocal limits to 5.

I could not praise this place enough! We were here last night and what a meal. We were so pleased with the absolutely wonderful quality of the food. We came late on a Sunday evening, so it wasn’t so crowded inside, but with delivery orders and the few people working it was amazing how they prepared such a great meal. I had Lasagna which was so tasty and so filling with savory sauce and a well refined beef filling. The fettuccini carbonara and chicken Marsala also look delicious. The tomato bisque soup and salad was a perfect compliment to the hearty lasagna. We found this restaurant tucked away in San Dimas on Unilocal and would highly recommend it to be your favorite local Italian eatery!

I’m not sure what’s up with the bad reviews but our experiences here has been nothing less than terrific. The homemade bread on site is second to none. Normally, I only have one serving of bread at restaurants. But here it is so good it’s hard to say no. The lasagna is probably the best lasagna I’ve had, if not it ranks up in the top 2 authentic Italian lasagna as I have ever eaten. The owner Jack, goes through a meticulous regiment to make sure that it is delicious. First, he goes to the butcher and chooses specific prime cut of meat and has it ground to his specifications. He then seasons and cooks it allowing the fats to properly drain from the meat. He then layers the lasagna dish with the right amount/s of ingredients to have a balanced and well tasting meal. With the chefs extra care and effort added you will not find an oily/greasy heartburn style lasagna here. By all means, please have a look at the photographs I posted. We are from out of town and will always make an effort to stop and eat here when we pass through.

Veal Parmesan was very good. Fresh veal(rare these days). Substituted fettuccine Alfredo for the regular pasta for an extra $ 3. Was cooked perfectly, with a sweet, rich cream sauce. Tea was fresh brewed and excellent — that’s a big deal to me. Incredibly friendly and attentive owner and server. Highly recommended. Very small dining room. Make reservations.

The tomato basil soup with the warm garlic bread is life. Calzone is good ask for the sauce on the inside. Lasagna was good & tonight we shall see how the chicken cacciatore is. Sure I’ll be more than satisfied. The manager is super friendly & accommodating ! Helps with excellent suggestions! I work up the street from Pozettos so when I’m in the mood for an Italian meal, this is my place to go ! Thank you for many delicious late lunches! I’ll continue to return!

Love this place. Came here for the first and I will be back. We used them once before to cater a large event and their food was a huge hit with our guests. What to get I had the clam linguini in the red sauce and it was very good. My wife had the baked ziti and the was also really good. We came with another couple and they ordered the chicken Parmesan and I had just a bit and it was tasty. Great old school ambiance in this small restaurant. Friendly staff and fresh ingredients you can taste. Now on to our previous catering experience the reason we even know of this place. The event was at a bowling alley bar area, for 80 people and our choices were bar food our this Italian food from a restaurant that was a friend of the owner of the bowling alley. The delivered on time a beef rigatoni, a sausage rigatoni, cheese tortilli, salad and garlic bread. There was ample amounts of food but the cheese tortilini was a huge hit. So many people went back for seconds, it was gone fast. We’re talking a huge tray. They supplied plenty of food so we gave away a lot of the extra food to our guests who were happy to take it. We took home enough rigatoni that we lived off it for a good three days and I never got bored with it. 5 stars on the dinning in experience and 5 plus stars on the catering. I’ve got a new favorite Italian food restaurant in the area.
