Our schools have been located in the community for over 40 years. Our instructors are some of the best available, and they are certified yearly by the American Karate Kung Fu Federation. Everyone taking lessons will have a great experience. We are professional and pride ourselves is helping people reach their goals.

The American style of karate taught in each Red Dragon Studio is a combination of the 7 major Oriental styles of martial arts. It is a very fast and powerful martial arts form that requires each student’s desire, effort and commitment to excel.

When an eager and enthusiastic four year old Chris Casamassa told his Dad that he wanted to start learning the Martial Arts there would be no turning back until he got his Black Belt… because his dad said so, and when your Dad is Lou Casamassa, founder of the hugely successful chain of Red Dragon Karate Schools, you just don’t say no. It looks like father knows best because today Chris is well on his way to becoming one of the most sought after actors in Hollywood, and his Martial Arts training has helped get him there.

Chris started his martial arts training in 1969 at the age of 4 and has been actively seeking knowledge ever since. He made his first degree Black belt at the age of 10, and reached a personal milestone at the end of 2004 when he was awarded his 8^th degree Black Belt in Red Dragon Karate, He also has earned his 1^st degree Black belt in Shorin-​Ryu under long time mentor and friend Steve Fisher.
