Via Verde Prescription Shoppe merely started as a small «mom and pop» pharmacy. Committed to providing superior customer service by being the easiest and most convenient pharmacy retailer for customer’s to use, Rick expanded VVPS’ product offering to include Hallmark cards and gifts.

Understanding the importance of customers needs Via Verde partnered with the United States Postal Service to open a contract station that provided the same products and services as a main post office, with shorter lines and personalized service.

Continuing to maintain value for its customers VVPS continues to offer expert knowledge through personalized consultations, informative healthcare articles, and routine wellness and educational tips at local community events, schools, and assisted living facilities.

Meet the Business Owner

RICK R.

Business Owner

Rick attended the University of Southern California Pharmacy School and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1987. As a recent graduate Rick served Healthcare Pharmacy in Tustin, California as a pharmacist and manager from 1988 through 1990.

In 1990 Rick purchased the Via Verde Prescription Shoppe where he continues to own and serve as a pharmacist to the San Dimas community.
