Bought 4 tires from this store for my son’s car. Ricardo the store manager helped me out. His service was courteous and friendly. He gave us a great price and informed us about a rebate. I highly recommend this store because of its great service and friendly atmosphere!

Why, why did I go back? I should have learned the first time, when my dad was told his car would cost $ 3000 to fix, only to have a reputable mechanic put a $ 500 estimate on a completely different problem. What they told him was wrong, wasn’t wrong. This was the third time they wrongly diagnosed his vehicle.
I had gone back for some tire alignments and other simple stuff. No biggie, there was a warranty. But one time my tire was flat and I got it replaced and it was so cheap! I thought they weren’t that evil after-​all! It took about a day before my «low tire» light came back on and the replacement tire started deflating. As a matter of fact, a couple of months later when I took my car there for the last time, the paperwork said the tire was badly damaged and should be replaced immediately; the tire THEY had put on my car.
So the last time I went back, I had a huge sudden leak spewing from the car. Coolant; it was not good. They didn’t even call me, they called my dad. Blown Head Gasket, they said, but didn’t do that kind of work anymore. They did nothing, charged nothing. Took it to the mechanic and guess what? The Head Gasket was just fine.
These people will rob you, tell you something is wrong when it isn’t, and sell you unsafe merchandise. This is from repeat experience. I’m the dummy that went back, don’t be like me.

Took my wife’s new truck in (’16 Ram 1500 Tradesman) for its first service (5k miles, lifetime alignment and lifetime tire rotation/​rebalance). Vehicle was done quickly and proficiently by technicians Ricardo and Jorge. Firestone San Fernando continues to provide outstanding customer service.

Took my car in for an oil change, flat repair, and tire rotation. I got the oil change special without even knowing it was on sale! I was in and out in a short amount of time, a very honest place. Thanks to Janet, Rick, and the crew! i will definitely be back again. a ⁵⁄₅ in my books.

Took my car in Thursday morning to get new tires and everything. The shop was short, only had two guys working. They took care of everything in a timely manner. Rick hooked it up with the best deal Firestone had to offer. Always a great experience taking my car in at this location.

This place is pretty terrible called and showed up for my appointment at 11am… Right now it is 1:30 pm and I am still sitting in the waiting room because all the employees are at lunch… They don’t even have a lunch rotation… Everyone just stopped working and left me here for them to go eat… The girl up front was nice though but overall terrible customer service

Came in for a check engine code scanner … Staff is rude and lazy and would rather just stand there doing nothing while you wait there with a blank stare for them to assist you, and finally when we were assisted the mechanic was in a super bad mood didn’t even say a word to us. Just went inside our car, (saw us walking towards our car) saw us standing there, just finished and slammed the car door… And went back inside … I wouldn’t come back here on any circumstances.

I do not understand why there are any bad reviews… I brought my newly purchased used car here because the battery was draining overnight. They tested my battery, recharged my battery and checked my alternator for FREE. Not only were they efficient and fast, they were completely honest with me. My quote was reasonable and I will continue to have my services done here. I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to cars and they explained everything to me in basic terms so I could understand, haha, thanks guys! They have a life time customer now!

So I went in with a tire problem turns out it was a nail in my tire Rick once again took care of me. Best firstone in the valley wouldn’t go any where else customer service is awesome never had a bad experience been going there for over 15 yrs

Took my car in on a Sunday for an oil change. They were packed and still took my car in for the oil change which I was thankful for and they did it with no hesitation. My car was finished in a hour and Kelvin was the one helping me he was great representation of how customer service should be handled thank you very much for great service. I will keep coming back here for my auto repairs.

so i had an service appointment «oil change» and as i attended to the front desk the service advisor «ricardo» gave me the estimate price $ 37.00 for regular 4cyl car !!! while it is saying online on the fireston web $ 19.99!!! i told him its $ 19 plus tax he said thats was last week and ended !!! but then i showed him my phone he looked and said oh ok you have offer … while it is not an offer only for me it is offer but it for everyone … and then he lowered the price for (rudeness) $ 19-​$ 21.61 tax included… so why you doing that you are loosing customers i will never ever come back here even if they pay me to do service never ever worst place to have your vehicle service.

Came here for an oil change, it was a bit pricey but good Quality. So that equals each other out. I would recommend this Firestone over most because of the service quality

Don’t waste your time and money here. I waited 2 hours for my tires while the employees were screwing around. You’re better off going to a simple tire shop.
Be careful with the miscellaneous fees they charge. A simple $ 50 tire can run you $ 105.
Don’t be fooled and hustled like I did.

I’ve always taken my cars here and haven’t had an issue. Great customer service and great mechanics. They always are right on schedule. I wait sometimes or just drop my car off. Either way, they’re super efficient.

I brought my car here today and I was very impressed with the customer service and the team at this fire stone… the repair on my car took the sametime I was promised, A lady called sophia explained to me everything and she never tried to sell me anything I didn’t need, I will be coming here for my car services and repairs definitely and recommend my family and friends too ‚.great job firestone team in san fernando

This is the worst Firestone I have been to. I think they do not have enough technicians because I went here to get a wheel alignment and the woman behind the counter said that it was a six hour wait. I also came here about two weeks prior to coming here because of an overheating problem. Guess what the woman said? «it going to be a five hour wait and we do not have the diagnostic technician.» Are you serious? Plus, the woman was giving me some attitude. I went to the Firestone in Van Nuys. Way much better.

Yeah there services are good and warranted but I feel that the «free» guarantees are paid in the retail price of everything.
Called in for a tire patch job and the associate quoted me $ 20 to patch a non TPMS (air sensor) tire and $ 30 to patch one with. I don’t get it, the sensor is just the valve stem, not the type of tire so why should it be more?
Of course even the $ 20 price sounded a little steep just for a patch so I had to take my business somewhere else.
Like I said the spiked up price for the patch is probably included their «free» warranty on their work.
Clean and professional place though.

I’ve taken a few vehicles here because it’s walking distance from my work. Usually just no brain jobs like an oil change or fluid check.
This time I had my grandma’s jaguar that needed some sensors replaced for a SMOG check. Not only was there a tech not available today but he wanted to charge me $ 99 to connect the OBD2 scanner. That’s ridiculous when you can buy a bluetooth reader online for under $ 25.

I know what the issue is, just fix it! They would rather gouge every last dollar they can.
Did not leave vehicle and will not be returning!

Serviced my Honda yesterday for routine oil change, tire balancing and rotation. After receiving my car back and arriving home I did a quick visual inspection and noticed my front left tire dangerously under inflated. After a meaningless and unconcerned conversation with a employee regarding the situation they assured me it wasn’t there fault. Consumer beware!

I take my car here from time to time, took it there this week because I needed a oil change and there was an online $ 7 coupon. The oil change is originally $ 30. I left my car there because there were 3 cars ahead of mine and only one guy working.
I got a call back saying that I need four light bulbs replaced, $ 25 a piece. I changed 2 of the light bulbs myself for $ 6. I then found out that it was not the light bulbs that were out, I figured out I had blown a fuse, so I saved myself over $ 100 and fixed it myself.
This place has good service, but when it comes to your cars and money you have to be more proactive.
